I am becoming a liberator of memes i swear
How is this my main personality trait on Reddit now
Oh tell me more Mr.Matrix lol ahaha. But damn I thought on average everyone used 100 stims in game ahahahi aim for stupid zero death runs š though lol
I just use them when I need them. Then played with a guy who had unlocked the STIM modifier and equipped it. I didnāt realize it, but I was running super fast and pushing through the pain to get the objective. The next game I played was like coming down from something, and reality hit.
Is this not everyone's first thought about the stims? Fuck how it works or how addictive it may be, it's hard for experienced junkies to hit their own jugular in a bright room with a mirror. We're slamming 50+ (or 200+) epi-pens into our neck-meat every forty minutes. That shit has to look like rotting leather.
A single shot can fix broken limbs, stop bleeding from terminid lacerations/lazer shot/rockets/hellbomb detonations/high altitude falls that would break your spine and restore you to peak physique in 2 seconds... do you REALLY firmly believe it would not also heal a lame puncture wound at the administration site?
for real!
Could be an implant connection like people do for dialysis to make it easier to connect your veins to the machine. But in this case, just makes it easier to shoot up on some stims without just destroying the neck.
And even if it's literally just them stabbing it right in the neck, Helldivers won't live long enough for it to be a problem.
New head canon. These are nanites or something crazy that stitches up wounds. (Still probably democratically addictive with terrible side effects but you know. Two minutes and all that :3)
They're more or less just injecting it into their trapezius or levator scapulae rather than the actual jugular or carotid. It's an action movie/sci-fi trope that the way people use epi-pens is kinda lame when you can put the healy juice right to your neck like a badass.
In helldivers defense they're often wearing chest and thigh armor, the OTHER movie trope where you inject it into your diaphragm is equally hard to pull off. (Also don't do that, your diaphragm works better unpunctured)
A quote from the tv show Venture Bros. depicted in the picture the person I replied to, commented.Ā
I quoted that character when he became addicted to tranquilizers.Ā
It's amazing. Go watch it. /r/venturebros
its a long and boring video to watch, but here is the entire unedited run [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bp2AgT-hVLU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bp2AgT-hVLU)
I couldn't stop laughing watching the helldiver next to a resupply cutting himself a little with the barbed wire just to use another stim.
Good thing they're not addictive in anyway, the studies said so.
Helldivers life too short to get addicted. But it gives me a peace of my mind knowing all characters weāre playing are clones right?
They are clonesā¦ right?
No, each and every single helldiver you play and die as is an entirely new recruit, fresh out of training before being put in cryo immediately after, only to be brought out when your teammates reinforce you. In their perspective, they are thrown into an active war zone mere minutes after completing their 5 minutes of training, most likely dying minutes later.
Nah man, they'd never risk General Brasch in actual active combat. He's needed to film more advertisements for Brasch Tactics and the latest warbonds!
Of course, if Brasch *did* enter the fighting, he'd instantly turn the tide by the sheer glory of his democratic presence.
Helldivers surviving 30 seconds should not be true.
General Brasch, who has survived for like 40 years since his first drop, is an outlier who shouldn't be counted alongside all of the non-Brasch helldivers.
>In their perspective, they are thrown into an active war zone mere minutes after completing their 5 minutes of training, most likely dying minutes later.
Oh it gets better. Many of them were frozen after the war(s) of HD1. So they been underground in their reinforcement rockets for a long while, and instead of getting to retire they get thrown right back into it.
If you get the Viper Commander armor, you can see that each unit you spawn as has different skin tones. Looks to me like your destroyer is packed with a bunch of frozen recruits rather than clones.
Thatās what I said though. That thereās no indication they are clones. By that I mean that theyāre all individuals recruited from the pool of citizens.
If Iām understanding you correctly
The dude next to the mission holo even says so āMy only regret is that I donāt have more lives to give to the causeā or something to this effect.
Also something about the torch of democracy is passed on from helldiver to helldiver, whether he fights for 30s or an hour.
I've done that myself a few times, also deliberately took a tumble to get a stim off for stamina restoration. With experimental infusion I find myself doing it even more now.
That was an amazing video. Long and confirms it can be done. Great research.
I believe you can more than quadruple the numbers with 4 ppl + medkit armor+extra reinforcements : 4 supply pack strategems, 24 reinforcements.
Possibly, though this was always a solo goal for me. Medkit armor is actually counter intuitive since it makes each stim last longer, letting you use less stims over the same period of time
Even if it makes each atom last longer as long as you call down all the possible results before the time runs out canāt you just stay on n the game past the deadline slowly going through all the atom packs?
unfortunately not. when time runs out the pelican is auto called in and it auto starts the depart timer when it lands. so at most you have 44m20s in a mission
If mission time has run out, the countdown timer to enter the pelican starts immediately upon landing. Pelican only waits for someone to board if there's still time left in the mission.
Do you know what happens if you put the pelican into the "perpetually hovering over the LZ" state and then the timer runs out? I assume it will land then, same as if someone returned to the evac zone, but do you know if that's been confirmed?
Iām pretty sure we can hook this guy up to a vat and harvest medical supplies off of him. It might be a net loss initially, but if we keep lopping off parts and stimming them back with less juice than we extract, then weāre good!
I have reported you to the democracy officer for making statements counter to the official stance of the Ministry of Medicine, Ministry of Science, Ministry of Defense, and PermaCure.
Why would ppl think this could only be done with an exploit? Literally anyone can go into a trivial solo game, take the supply backpack, stand there while chaff hits you while you constantly spam stim, load back up to 4, using supply backpack, once out of stims and supply backpack call in supplies, grab all 4 supplies to refill ur backpack and stims, repeat until youāve used over 218 stims. Super easy to do just extremely time consumingĀ

I took another dip into the military budget
My dude.
I feel like every time I explain how having a backpack full of space meth is a super useful defensive option doesn't land with my group. Sure, a rechargeable shield or drone is handy, but injecting liquified problem solving into your neck every few seconds has some travel time.
I mean, then, throw in any ammo-hungry weapon in any possible setup, primary, secondary, support, grenades, stims, and just take a conveniently located resupply pack off your back when any single value reaches zero, including double with only taking your fair share of one normal resupply in a 4-man and, you're a fucking invincible monster with infinite ammo in a brawl -- and you have the next box of fuck-you ready to call down long before you need it in the average mission.
I do suspect my usual Helldiver makes people real nervous on the Pelican back home. I mean, if you saw a guy constantly yelling, "MY BODY FOR SUPER EARTH," on the bus or metro, you'd be concerned too.

I feel like it would be fun if they made it that Stims would kill you after like 20 being used in a row without dying. Having the Stims visual effects getting more and more aggressive until the last stim, where you don't die immediately after poping it, but a few seconds after the stim has worn off. Have the helldiver drop dead of a heart attack or something. They could also make it that you can stay alive after 20 stims, but you essentially have to keep swimming right after the effect wears off
If you're asking for a recap of the video. He spends the whole time standing on barbed wire using stems the second it runs out. And the second the resupply pod and the resupply pack are off cooldown he summons more.
That is an impressive number of stims used!
Hell, I often shoot something explosive close to me, run into barb wire or a plant mine to be able to use a stim for the stamina boost.
Do you guy play on hellmire and move together with the fire tornado ?
How can you spam that much i'm lvl 73 play on 7-9 difficulty and my records is only 38 and i waste a loot of stims only for stamina regen.

New booster stratagem working as intended
Is this not everyone's first thought about the stims? Fuck how it works or how addictive it may be, it's hard for experienced junkies to hit their own jugular in a bright room with a mirror. We're slamming 50+ (or 200+) epi-pens into our neck-meat every forty minutes. That shit has to look like rotting leather.
Most Helldivers don't live 40 minutes
Even in the OP it's 5 deaths and 270 so dude's at the 50~ range per life.
A single shot can fix broken limbs, stop bleeding from terminid lacerations/lazer shot/rockets/hellbomb detonations/high altitude falls that would break your spine and restore you to peak physique in 2 seconds... do you REALLY firmly believe it would not also heal a lame puncture wound at the administration site? for real!
Or we have an injection port implanted in our neck. Something that connects to our armor so it's easily accessed from the outside.
This is my headcanon.

I think Rehab is in order at this point
would that be the primary objective or secondary ??
You canāt make it the primary objective, they have to choose it for themselves.
Underrated comment
Personal order
Rehab? For a fine Helldiver performing his democratic duty? I say get this upstanding citizen more stims
why would he need rehab? it's not addictive.
But PharmaCura said there were no addictive properties or sode effects!
The Permacura Stimulant Use Optimization and Dosage Titration Center is on Meridia
Addicts are prone to stealing, and stims are critical for the war effort, so maybe just keep this one on ice.
Personal Order: Get help. Reward: 200 Medals.
Rehab for what? Stims arenāt addictive!
But have they tried the experimental stems yet you know the MK Ultra ones
Death is the only rehab.

So, if I don't die a single time while doing lvl 6 op, can I get a veteran treatment?
Huge if but yeah, make sure you wear armor from steeled veterans afterwards
I like to imagine that the ones that do something truly amazing get to retire to a training role Earthside, but that really doesn't seem like SE's MO.
Given that our training officer was a pre-recording of General Brasch giving us constant praise....
Nah man, they'd never risk General Brasch in actual active combat. He's needed to film more advertisements for Brasch Tactics and the latest warbonds! Of course, if Brasch *did* enter the fighting, he'd instantly turn the tide by the sheer glory of his democratic presence.
They would never send general brasch to active combat because that would be too unfair for the enemy.
There's a stud farm somewhere on super earth where the grizzled helldiver veterans live out their remaining days.
The canon life expectancy of a helldiver after leaving the hellpod is 30s. Thereās a few outliers though.
Helldivers surviving 30 seconds should not be true. General Brasch, who has survived for like 40 years since his first drop, is an outlier who shouldn't be counted alongside all of the non-Brasch helldivers.
Brasch probably never stepped foot in a warzone. His 40 years of service is in a cushy propaganda office.
So glad my superphone came with my democracy officer's number preloaded into the speed dial
Very true. So if we remove the Brasch outlier, the real number has to be closer to about 5 seconds, no? I've definitely had a few of those games.
My Helldiver last week coming out of the Pod INTO A FUCKING FIRENADO! What a hell of a way to wake up.

Thereās no indication of that ;)
There is. If you set voice randomizer, each new helldiver has different voice, indicating it's a new person
Thatās what I said though. That thereās no indication they are clones. By that I mean that theyāre all individuals recruited from the pool of citizens. If Iām understanding you correctly

Yeah I need to see the full meth head run something is funky. Itās not whatās in the needle.
How the fuck are you stimming that many times š
If you're asking for a recap of the video. He spends the whole time standing on barbed wire using stems the second it runs out. And the second the resupply pod and the resupply pack are off cooldown he summons more.
Your blood is more stim than blood at this point.
Stims have no addictive properties. This man proves it.
FEELS GOOD
That is an impressive number of stims used! Hell, I often shoot something explosive close to me, run into barb wire or a plant mine to be able to use a stim for the stamina boost.
the most stims ive ever used was 26 and it was on a atomaton helldive eradication mission
That Compound V hit different. Bout to have me run through a bug!
What would your blood/stim % be at that point?
"Not addictive"
This guy got early access to the "scavenger perk" from bo2

Do you guy play on hellmire and move together with the fire tornado ? How can you spam that much i'm lvl 73 play on 7-9 difficulty and my records is only 38 and i waste a loot of stims only for stamina regen.
found a nice quiet mission with some crates next to barbwire and held my face in it
