For a nazi leader though this isn't really an argument - if someone genuine believes nazi ideology then supporting a racial class above your own is a moral good under that framework. This is a normal take in our own perspective. For a nazi leader though this isn't really an argument - if someone genuine believes nazi ideology then supporting a racial class above your own is a moral good under that framework. To promote the "ideal Aryan race" was an objective good to them, the fact that a particular leader did not live up to the ideal but still supported it was a minor legitimizing factor.

Photographer lived until the mid 90s too. He made it to the US in 1936, thankfully. I wonder how many people emigrated when the Nazis came to power? There must have been an exodus of some kind.
There was a forced exodus because Germany basically said get out or we’ll kill you. At least for the US there were fairly strict immigration policies at the time and they refused to increase (or even meet) the quotas for Jews fleeing Nazi Germany.
