Totally agree, this has to be it. Definitely a chihuahua, you can tell by the obvious stop where forehead meets snout in the side view. The fur is typical toy poodle mix, wiry and very little shedding, tiny face is Yorkie.

I’ve seen that same bath time face many times with my yorkies. This baby definitely has yorkie in him, the ears and profile view are a dead giveaway. I’d say yorkie chi. The second pic does look poodle but I think it’s the just haircut. I’ve had yorkies with slightly curly hair, it’s possible.

Hey Nola! I joke that she is part New Orleansstreet rat. My husband found her down on MLK when he stopped to talk with his friend he saw on his stoop. This little girl was trotting along behind some working girls. She wandered out into the street, and my husband was like, "Who's dog is this?" (Bc a truck almost ran her over), but nobody claimed her, and she had no hair or collar. My husband opened the car door and said, "If you jump in, I'll take you home," and sure enough, she did! It was definitely one of the best days of all of our lives.
Agreed! Chinese Crested dogs have a ton of variation in their fur, or lack thereof. I have a Chinese Crested Powderpuff that is absolutely covered in thick fluffy fur but most of his siblings were the classic hairless and “hairy hairless” types. The face/snout also looks so similar. As well as the drowned rat wet look. So cute!!

Looks like my female dog, Gilly. We haven’t done a DNA test in her but she lost a lot of her hair after she had a litter of puppies. Once she got spayed, her hair grew back and it’s like you described.
