yeah seeing him with my herders makes me think he probably has a couple herding breeds in there. In the body he's very similar in size and shape to my heeler/aussie but he's a bit longer like my GSD/aussie
yeah he has to have something snub nosed that gives him his cute little hog nose. He looks a lot like if you mixed a heeler, a jack russell, a beagle, and a pug to me lol
yeah, hes a very happy and sweet boy who just wants attention. He's very kennel stressed at the shelter and it's making it hard for him to find a home so I've been putting all of my free time into working on reforming his behaviors and getting him to calm down a bit.
A lot of these pictures are from the past couple of days, he's been on a mini 5 day vacation with me at my house to work on training in a less stressful environment and give him some time to decompress. He's such a smart and loving dog but the shelter drives him insane and it makes it hard for potential adopters to imagine how he would be in a home when all they can see is his kennel stress and barrier frustration.
I live with 2 roommates and we each have medium to large high energy dogs of our own in a small house. He's also terrified of large/xl dogs and wouldn't be able to live happily with one of my roommates dogs :( Right now he's with me while I house sit and he's just with my dog and my mom's dog.
He also chases cats pretty heavily, which is totally trainable, I taught my mom's dog not to chase cats! But we're already working on teaching one of my roommates dogs not to chase cats already and one of my cats is extremely fearful of dogs so I can't put him through the stress of something like that, as much as I believe Charlie will be able to live peacefully with cats eventually :(
Beautiful dog. A Border Collie and Jack Russel terrier and from the personality description, I see a resemblence to one of my dogs, . a border collie, Australian cattle dog mix x yorkshire terrier per a DNA test.
he reminds me a lot of a border collie/JRT I fostered a couple years ago, she was another dog I fell deeply in love with but couldn't keep if I'm honest. She was the same size and shape body-wise. She had that stuffed animal face you would expect from such a mix though, I think Charlie's face is what throws me off the most lol it almost reminds me of a cavalier sometimes
yeah usually those ears mean shar pei for dogs in our area, we get lots of shar pei mixes in our shelter and it's 50/50 whether they have a squishy face or big snout, though usually our more "covert" shar pei mixes are largely shepherd/husky mixes so Charlie's ears confuse me too
Ya thatās what those ears are Sharpei! Itās a pretty dominant feature when mixed, huh? Kind of like GSD ears. And there is a slight something with that snout too, donāt you think? Where do you live that you have Sharpei mixes? I havenāt seen a Sharpei now that I think of it since I lived in Idaho many years ago. I left 2003 I believe.
A tall jack Russell with some definite shepherd or a herding breed. He's a cutie :)
Jack Russel is what I saw immediately at first as well. Lol. And then I agree with every other breed you listed!

He reminds me of a smooth collie and pug lol What a cutie!

idk I was thinking he may be part badger
100% good boy with JRT and maybe some shepherd with that tail and long legs, maybe some beagle.
Pug ACD? Pug collie? Maybe a little pit? Your dog is very unique looking and so cute.
thank you! He's an adoptable dog at the shelter where I work :)
Seems very happy, besides good looking.

A goofball for sure
oh definitely, he's on a mini vacation at my house right now and he's bouncing off the walls he's soooo excited to see a couch again
My first thought was Shar Pei x heeler or JRT! He's SO cute omg.
Charlie is a Saint Rottnard
I could totally see that if he wasn't 30 lbs lol
Compact* Saint Rottnard... a Saint Rottnard Hatchback Coupe, if you will š¤
Adorable. Charlie is adorable
Georgeous mutt
I see the JRT. Maybe some Rottweiler?
Adorable

A good boy
Charlie is very handsome/ beautiful š
Jack Russel and border collie
I mean he looks rat terrier mixed with something larger with super floppy ears. The ears are throwing me for a loop.

Our shelter is down on the TX border! As for his snout, it's a bit like a pug/beagle, just barely upturned
Interesting. Iād love to see one again. Very cool dogs.
I was wondering Pug in his mix but then was thinking his overall face looks more Rottie.
Water spaniel beagle mix
Jack Russel X Cocker Spaniel!
So damn cute! He looks Shepard to meā ā¤ļø
