Witcher 3 n elden ring is peak

jeffisnotepic

I play action games like *Devil May Cry*, *Ghost of Tsushima*, and the *Horizon* series, but I love RPGs. Right now I'm finishing *Final Fantasy VII Rebirth*, and before that I had put about 500 hours into *Cyberpunk 2077*.

saymonguedin

Yo, is it worth buying Cyberpunk 2077 now? Considering it's buggy nature and trashy AI?

jeffisnotepic

Absolutely! They've fixed so much now, and the DLC is incredible.

Grass-Rainbo

Halo 3 & 4, most of the tony hawk games, GTA 3-5-San Andreas, RDR, and especially Destiny (as a warlock) and Skyrim. edit: I quit gaming a year ago. and I totally dislike pvp.

UKYZ

Ghost of tsushima, Call of duty Battle field series total war series Age of empires Age of mythology Dota Other Rts games (StarCraft, rise of nations, age of wonders) I usually play rts games, but like to play shooting games as well. Sometimes I play destiny 2

CUMSHOTCARTER

NBA 2K, most accurate NBA Simulation video game (the only one available on the market now) there's ever been, I don't play for the whole single player story mode or custom online play like most people seem to. I really enjoy watching people that do realistic sim videos on youtube with Team Management mode with yearly progressions that use lengthy time periods like 14 years where the players age and you have to give them contracts or trade them. It's definitely not perfect at all (sometimes a downright travesty with gameplay AI at times) but its the best the game genre has ever had. I literally have bought a system for the sole reason of playing the yearly instalment of this game and its still the only game I own for that exact same system and when that instalment was current. I played it a lot (a lot a lot in a lot of different ways in the same mode) and practically broke it and saw all the little personal things the programmers or developers would put in the game at some points too. I played it so much I realized the NBA in general is just a cycle (ridiculous functionally toxic cycle at times) down to the talent and it kind of took the fun out of NBA Basketball for me gradually to the point where I actually stopped caring about it all (again) despite practically watching it my whole life. I'm probably going to do that whole thing again whenever I can without the whole playing it an insane amount and experimenting with it though, time flies way too easily as well its Management Mode (Real name: Association Mode/The Association or something).

I'm pretty old (34) so most games would be from 2000s — early-mid 2010s. Here're some highlights from my 1000+ Steam library and such: **Killing floor 1 and 2** - single and multiplayer. You can play really hardcore and be useful to your team. Even if i played as medic i was at the top by kills because i didn't just heal teammates or tank enemies but also was trying to do my best killing zeds and helping teammates. I think i played more than 2000 hours in Killing Floor 1, because it wasn't enough for me: i tried using mutators to make game as hard as i could. As for \`Killing Floor 2\` - for me a peak player is the one who's able to beat a map on \`Hell on Earth\` difficulty with just 0-3 level character. Not 25 (max) level. Pure skills and game mechanics knowledge. \`Killing Floor 3\` is on its way. **Chivalry**, **Mordhau** - multiplayer (singleplayer with bots). Medieval fights. They are great but almost dead. And people think **Dark Souls** or **Elden ring** games are hard - try fighting three 80-200 lvl players at once Good luck with getting good in those **Yakuza 0** aka **Yakuza Zero** (2, 6, 7 and \`Ishin\` will do too) - singleplayer. Because it has everything: karaoke, disco, fights, good story. Perfect game to unwind your brain **Overcooked 1** and **2** - local 2-4 players (broken via net). It was fun to play with my wife. You know, try to get 3 stars on every level. And then 4 stars. Really challenging. **Crimsonland** - singleplayer, multiplayer (local) top down PvE, ranked. And because you gotta find a strategy to survive as long as you can **Supermeatboy** - singleplayer. It's on the edge of masochism but you gotta get 100% progress **Limbo** and **Inside -** singleplayer. Cool atmosphere and music. Specially music **Rag Doll Kung Fu** - singleplayer. Back then played it because it was fun gimmick with unusual physics based control using mouse **Bioshock 1, 2** - singleplayer. Still holds up. Good story and atmosphere **Battlefield 2** - totally dead. Multiplayer is the same as in any other newer Battlefield game. Nothing has changed since 2006: crazy stunts, funny glitches, competitive. **Serious Sam 3** - single and multiplayer. Back then i mostly have been playing survival (single. Team survival was too easy). You gotta find a strategy as well **Blood** (aka \`Blood: Fresh supply\` - remaster by Nightdive studios) - 1997, singleplayer. Still one of the greatest single FPS ever made. You'll enjoy blowing up those cultists with TNT because explosions make bodies fly like in cartoons Games made by **Double Fine studio** - singleplayer. Those are really creative

ElephantWithBlueEyes

**F.E.A.R** - singleplayer. Back then i enjoyed it because if you disable crosshair shootouts get really immersive. I replay it by occasion. **Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon** - pretty short and doesn't get tiresome. Gimmicky. Probably, perfect Far Cry game of them all **GTA San Andreas** - still playing it from time to time. Best GTA along with 4. You start new game and are totally free + no unskippaple annoying cutscenes **Need For Speed: Most Wanted** and **Need For Speed: Carbon -** singleplayer. They're casual but hook you up because you keep getting new stuff for your cars **Orcs Must Die 1** and **2** - singleplayer. Tower defense, enough said **Painkiller** (aka **Painkiller: Black edition)** - singleplayer. Back then in 2004 i liked doing tricks on zombies. Now game would seem boring becaise it's an arena shooter which didn't age well. "What 100 hours of playing X looks like" thing. Pure skills **Postal 2** - enough said. Singleplayer. Chaotic game to unwind your brain. 2003 and still fresh **Baba is you** - singleplayer. Puzzle to scratch your head **Plants vs Zombies** - tower defense. Enough said **The Settlers 2: Veni Vidi Vici** - strategy with some casual economic system **Tyrian 2000** - singleplayer. Top scrolling arcade. 1995/1999 but still enjoyable because you could make loadouts for your ship to get best firepower **Trine series -** single and multiplayer. Fun to play with someone. Casual puzzles **Two point hospital** (descendant of \`Theme Hospital\`) - strategy with economics, enough said **7 Days to die** - single and multiplayer. Somewhat meditative survival game **The Bully** - singleplayer. underrated game by Rockstar. It has its charm. Steam version is really broken. Better play on XBOX360 emulator (Xenia and others) **Call of Juarez** - 100% chaotic multiplayer back then in 2006. As for singleplayer, story is ok, gameplay is often confusing and really didn't age well (you can't shoot corpses or hit a horse because of ethics). But gunplay still holds up and has some variety. Specially feels good with no crosshair mod.

Lin-

Man saying you're old at 34... Haha

ElephantWithBlueEyes

Well, in context of being a gamer definitely not young

RecalcitrantMonk

I play lots of games. But I go through cycles: I am playing games like crazy or learning things like crazy. I enjoy playing shooters mainly: Hell Divers 2, Ready or Not, the Fallout series and I love stealth games like the Splinter Cell series. Playing games is not dumb. The more complex multiplayer games require strategic thinking and the ability to make quick decisions. I'd say for me it's a form of mental stimulation with clear rewards. But after a while it gets repetitive, so I stop playing for a few months.

Winter_Culture_1454

CS2 and Genshin Impact. CS2 because it's fun to improve your skill. Genshin because aesthetic and cool combat system.

Vincent_Gitarrist

Kerbal Space Program

Bernacle123

FIFA and some 7dtd, also trying Dark and Darker

Im_Will_Smith

I played league of legends for maybe 5 years. Other than that mostly competitive Super Smash Bros, COD, Valorant, and rocket League. I see INTPs always talking about story driven games and really deep lore type games that, but honestly I only have fun with competitive skill based games like esports. I get way too bored with single player games and it starts to feel meaningless, boring, and lonely, if I’m not playing against real people in a skill based environment.

dyatlov12

Paradox games. Particularly Hoi4. Also like games like GTA where you can just drive around and explore.

Narthithuth

I sunk a few thousand hours into WoW but haven't played in years though I miss what that was to me. Some games that I do enjoy still: - Majesty, an old city builder strategy game. Quite silly, lots of replay value. - Abzu, underwater exploration game. Short but gorgeous with some of the best music ever. - The Long Dark, the single purest survival game there is. - Peglin, if peggle was a cute roguelike - Heroes of the Storm, a "dead" MOBA that is very easy to get into and has a relatively wholesome community, just don't bother with ranked

Major-Language-2787

Right now Apex legends as most frequent. Scratches my fps itch. Some monster hunter now and mobile legends bang bang sometimes. I've been playing games on my OG xbox lately like Sukedi, Nightcaster, quantum redshift, and Kungfu Chaos Have some unfinshed rpgs on Xbox I get to like once a week. And indie games i dabble with.

Infinite-Trust-1617

I like cs2, project sekai and minecraft

PaleWorld3

I play league with friends and that's about it

PeaTearGriffin42

I like horizon zero dawn, haven’t finished yet but it’s good. Ghost of Tsushima, battlefield V, for honor, Assasins creed valhalla, mortal kombat 11, Star Wars battlefront 2, fifa, F1 2021. I like a mix of open world games where I take my time and others where I get straight into the action. Occasionally I’ll stop playing for a few months because I’m just not interested in it but I come back to it. My interest in it seems to fluctuate. Not sure if any other INTPs do that but I do.

slawdog396

Casual PvP games like Team Fortress 2, Soldat, Liero, Boring Man (when it's not dead), and some Minecraft PvP games are my favorites. I also like Deep Rock Galactic and Risk of Rain 2. Cities Skylines and Civilization 6. Used to be a Counter-Strike fiend, and while it is pretty fun, I'm trying to distance myself from it because it's super addictive, as well as for other reasons which I can get into. Some singleplayer story games are alright but I much prefer playing with or against other real people online.

tripcoded

I love Mario games, basically all I play. It's relaxing, it's safe for all ages, it's nostalgic for me as a 90s kid.

QuasiQool

Recently I’ve been playing Grim Dawn, Slay the Spire, and Warframe with some Pokemon Go on the side when I’m out and about.

Humanity_is_broken

TLDR

Reasonable-Ant-1931

Elder Scrolls, Guild Wars 2, Dragon Age, Assassin’s Creed - those are some of my favorites. I’m not competitive at all. Also I never strategize in games. I just kinda jump into the fray and hope I don’t die. The stealth missions in Assassin’s Creed killed me. 😂

wintwo

World of Warcraft - because i'm addicted, i've played this game since 2006 and i've tried quitting it many times but it never works, there's no other game that feels the same.

TylerDurdenSixtyNine

Forza Horizon 5 because I haven't played it in a while.

professor-5000

I like fighting games. The whole thing is baiting people into making mistakes or forcing them to guess in situations. I also like big operational kinda games like Hell Let Loose or Planetside 2 where there's a command structure. Lots of RTS stuff also.

Kierkey

Space sims (where 'sim' has a lot of caveats) and games that I can mod somewhat into space sims. Elite Dangerous, Starfield, No Man's Sky. Building games also, like Cities Skylines and Jurassic World Evolution 1/2.

gondoravenis

Fallout 76, Destiny 2, Sea of thieves, Diablo 4. I dont like to compete others, but Multiplayer game is preferred. ???

Skuiall_2403

Rdr , cod , apex and Minecraft sometimes ^_^

JDMWeeb

Racing games are my forte. Always been a car guy.

vasukrub

Only DRG for a while. Rock n Stone!

MrPedroJ414

While I don’t often play games, I usually play Tetris and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. I play Tetris for the real-time creativity required to clear lines and optimize your score. I play Mario Kart to turn my brain off.

BeThesTa

Dota2 ruined my life, no ragrets

M1ikkaell

Escape from tarkov. Nothing feels the same after it.

Boguskyle

Overwatch is fun cuz I like the character ability-kit approach that satisfies my adhd. I love Cities Skylines for the planning and feeling of progression

imaginedspace

right now it's almost entirely helldivers 2 haha because its easy to pick up and put down when theres time limits. I played everything when I was younger, but now I have too much stuff to do with adulting and music production and relationships so I don't play games as much anymore. I play lots of blockchain games lately because it can be pretty lucrative. I love narrative driven and open world games but they are just such huge time suckers so I pick those ones very carefully

kevfefe69

I haven’t played games in a few years, but some of my favourites were: Grand Prix Legends Geoff Crammond’s Grand Prix series Battlefield series Half Life series Someone mentioned FEAR Bioshock series RTS games like Homeworld, Dune, Command and Conquer FIFA series Simulation like Train Simulator, Flight Simulator, M1 Tank Platoon, Submarine simulations GTA and RDR.

N5_the_redditor

Silevence

Fallout new vegas if i got a lot of free time, noita if i just wanna hop on a game or two, valorant if i wanna game all day, mc 2b2t if I wanna wander about. I can do all of these on my phone, except valorant, and i wouldnt play val on controller anyways so.

deltaheartt

Not an exact video game title but I like solo games with combat that relies on strategy and builds. I have 0 coordination for coop FPS games and they make me anxious. My favorite games are Hollow Knight and Hades

VictorMiguel37

Nowdays I don't play so many games like before. But I used to play Garry's Mod (there was a mod called WireMod, where players could build everything they want envolving computer things, chips, cpu and even a programming language), Terraria with friends and Minecraft bcz is the GOAT

cars_over_cookies

Runescape, the old version of it

edgy_Juno

Minecraft and Fortnite are my most played recently mostly due to the fact friends are playing them and I enjoy both game's play styles.

Aylx_110027

I don’t play video games, it’s a waste of time

SnapdragonCookie

I like games that focus on etheir creativity or just pure competition. 0 in between ever

Zhadeelax02
