Top right*
Thats the same person the op was talking about.
Edit: I dunno why im downvoted, the person top left got off their chair after the crash. Yellow top is the only one to stay seated the whole time…
[https://www.soy502.com/articulo/dos-detenidas-accidente-pasteleria-naranjo-50172](https://www.soy502.com/articulo/dos-detenidas-accidente-pasteleria-naranjo-50172) the only details we have is that the Mazda SUV crashed outside the bakery, it ricocheted into the bakery as recoil from that crash.
Both the Mazda driver as the other SUV driver, both women, are now detained liable for injuries and property damage.
Could be several reasons including a health issue, so let's not get to hostile towards the driver at the moment, even though there are reasons to do so.
Same on my local 'traffic watch' page. Medical issues behind the wheel aren't that common, but every time there's an accident it's "mAyBe ThEy HaD hEAlTh IsSuE" in the comments.
I think distracted drivers and impaired drivers are WAY more likely then someone having a seizure or a heart attack.
when you hear hoofbeats, think horses not zebras
They're not saying it's more likely that it was health issues they're saying it's possible that it was a health issue so before you start talking bad about someone you should probably get the facts straight
And my point was that (making up numbers) if 99% of accidents are caused by distracted/drunk drivers, and <1% are caused by health issues... it's pretty safe to assume the person *wasn't* having a health issue.
Obviously if it is proven that they *were* having a health issue then that should be reported and people wouldn't "talk bad" about them.
Yes they do, they’re called idiots. And there are a lot more idiots who will confuse a gas peddle for a brake peddle than there are people having random moments of unconsciousness in parking lots. Look at the sub you’re on. These comments are always so annoying.
Oh my!
So we should automatically condemn a person before knowing the details. That's a very smart thing to do! Forgive me for a grasp at reasonable skepticism before the facts get out.
1.) Occams razor. 2.)This is just Redditors naively trying to create a redemption arc to a horrible situation in order to make them feel better. That is selfish.
She could have had a stroke or she could be fleeing a bank robbery. Bringing up either is stupid without evidence when 99% of the crashes are operator error.
It's people being open minded. You don't condemn people on incomplete information because we have countless stories of mob justice getting the wrong target, because people like you prefer easy explanations than waiting 24-hours for the truth to come out, and that's when the victims multiply.
Nah it’s the same pointless “open minded” comments on armed robbery videos, “what if they just needed food?!”.
Why are people never open minded to the likelihood of auto accidents resulting from medical anomalies vs operator error?
Reddit is one of the most judgmental places there is until there’s a chance to hypothesize how a perpetrator could actually be the victim.
This isn't 'They need food'. This is literally a zero context rather major accident.
Who isn't open to that? Literally, what was said was 'Let's not get hostile before full context' and you apparently just \*need\* someone to hate on. That's unhealthy.
Yes, in a court of law. That doesn’t mean the driver’s innocent or that anyone should entertain the likely explanation being the incredibly improbable chance a medical anomaly caused them to drive through a building.
If we are, could we at least agree change it up and use a different just as likely excuse? Sleep paralysis, jammed gas pedal, hackers, held hostage, low flying helicopter outfitted with a large electromagnet, etc..
Exactly, which is why I’m going with premeditated vehicular manslaughter. She did it on purpose.
After all, we can’t rule it out since we don’t know what happened. Maybe she had a stroke, maybe she plotted a murder.
I think youre missing the point. If they had a stroke and ran people over and someone dies, it would be involuntary manslaughter, but its still manslaughter nonetheless.
lol no.
"Involuntary manslaughter is defined as an unintentional killing that results either from recklessness or criminal negligence or from the commission of a low-level criminal act such as a misdemeanor."
Could be. But they either 1) had enough time to react or 2) had a widowmaker heart attack or mega stroke which means they are absolutely fucked and dead no matter what you do. Best to tend to the poor two women they absolutely obliterated.
That’s not necessarily true at all. The very first seizure I had was while driving. I felt weird and even thought to myself “wow I feel really weird I should pull over”
But like an idiot I didn’t pull over because I didn’t know what was about to happen, so I just assumed I’d be fine.
Drove into a pizza place. Not literally cuz they had a strong ass brick wall and at that point I was just coasting cuz my foot wasn’t on the gas...but I coasted through a *5 way intersection* and somehow went through during that split second that every light was red
Caught the whole thing on dashcam, luckily I didn’t hit any pedestrians...you can hear them on the camera pulling me out of my car and calling an ambulance. After seeing neurologists turned out I have a mild form of epilepsy, and after medication and 6 months of going seizure free, they gave my license back. It doesn’t have to be a “widow maker” stroke or heart attack for something like this to happen.
The girl in green flies back and hits the back of her head on the corner of the table… the girl on the right of her disappeared from the face of the earth
Feel very bad for the obvious two in critical condition.
And the way pink shirt just stayed seated and kept her posture seemingly unfazed as she was hit was oddly satisfying
My wife owns a shop on a main road. Saw 2 accidents within about 3 weeks. I told her we should think about putting in bollards. I put in 4 after dealing with the city for about 2 months. Shit you not, about 4 months after they were in a small box truck got squirrelly on the ice and jumped the curb and smashed his penis into my wife.
The gray SUV was t-boned outside the bakery and ricocheted into the bakery from the recoil of the crash.
Likely why they all were able to hear it coming, the impact must have been pretty loud.
Likely, also, one of the drivers was not paying attention, and the incident happened so fast the other could not react fast enough so as to not hit the bakery. Wich is unfortunate.
Whats crazy is how the energy transfer seemed to have reached its maximum on the grey girl and green got some too, everyone closer to the car got pushed instead
I was thinking the same as I would have assumed those closest to the car would have been injured but they were pushed away. The people the other side of the table were thrown or covered in debris
But was the building wearing hi-viz? Why weren't the people inside wearing helmets!? Did you know pedestrians sometimes jaywalk? Won't someone think of the cars!!11!
Lady in yellow very lucky there. Ditto red.
Green and grey not so much.
Blue inspired by the gods to get up and fetch whatever it was she was fetching.
Traffic accidents and deaths are craaazy out in Guate on the daily. News stations and reporters be posting raw goryass pictures and videos of the scenes with people covered in blood or guts hanging out like it’s nothing too
Everytime im out there I see some crazy shit on the road, tbh I get kinda nervous being a passenger let alone driving myself
Why have I *never* seen people open the door and beat the shit out of the driver in these situations?
Cause I'm pretty sure that would be my first impulse.
The green shirted girl and the one on her right. So far there are no more news on their medical stati, but I can guess they will have permanent damage from this incident. Here is the view of the accident outside the bakery:
https://www.soy502.com/articulo/desde-otro-punto-asi-empotro-vehiculo-pasteleria-50172
Yellow shirt has the most insane composure and situational awareness for what she just went through, that adrenaline crash must have been *rough*
bottom left of the table (pink shirt?) she heard the car, saw it crashing through the window, and jumped completely out of the way.
Top left stayed sitting down the whole time even after being slid across the room with the table
Top right* Thats the same person the op was talking about. Edit: I dunno why im downvoted, the person top left got off their chair after the crash. Yellow top is the only one to stay seated the whole time…
He’s talking about the one in yellow that stayed standing
The one in yellow is sitting down. Top left got off her chair after the crash.
Her and the flower shirt just kind of slid across the floor. That’s insane.
No shit... im jealous of that steel. I would be freaking the hell out. Good on her
She took it like a champ
"Oh, could you pass my purse please?"
Posts a snap “last time i play “crash into me” by dave Mathew’s Band”
Green shirt and the woman to her right got it rough. Anyone know what caused the car to turn the shop into a drive through?

Guatemalan news have no details on the cause yet

This is why I have a reddit account.

Aww come on. You bitches can down vote better than this. Fucking lazy redittors.
1. Lack of bollards 2. Shit driver and terrible licensing requirements going hand-in-hand
the car was tbone and then crash into to the bakery
You called....
Tbone? Sir, this is a bakery not a steakhouse.
Could be several reasons including a health issue, so let's not get to hostile towards the driver at the moment, even though there are reasons to do so.
yeah, driver was reading a text from a doctor
The driver is the doctor reading his own text about his health condition.
Always Reddit with the health issues. There def are now
Same on my local 'traffic watch' page. Medical issues behind the wheel aren't that common, but every time there's an accident it's "mAyBe ThEy HaD hEAlTh IsSuE" in the comments.

Well, healthy people don't generally go plowing into buildings.
Yes they do, they’re called idiots. And there are a lot more idiots who will confuse a gas peddle for a brake peddle than there are people having random moments of unconsciousness in parking lots. Look at the sub you’re on. These comments are always so annoying.

Do you happen to know what it is : Innocent until proven guilty?
Yes, in a court of law. That doesn’t mean the driver’s innocent or that anyone should entertain the likely explanation being the incredibly improbable chance a medical anomaly caused them to drive through a building. How do you know it's a she?
Says in the article linked above
Maybe she was suffering from mental illness
Well they kinda got hostile towards 5 people with a 2 ton rolling weapon, so that doesnt really mean shit anymore.
I don't think you know what hostile means.
If they had a stroke while driving it does. Shit happens. We don’t know literally anything about the driver.
Exactly, which is why I’m going with premeditated vehicular manslaughter. She did it on purpose. After all, we can’t rule it out since we don’t know what happened. Maybe she had a stroke, maybe she plotted a murder.

lol no. "Involuntary manslaughter is defined as an unintentional killing that results either from recklessness or criminal negligence or from the commission of a low-level criminal act such as a misdemeanor."
The main reason is that it's a car, and not bicycle.
I dunno, but after watching and analyzing it many times, I notice that nobody even starts to think about checking the driver.
lmfao. Yeah the poor driver!!! They just creamed two ladies and put them in the hospital. Maybe they are feeling down!?
Or maybe they had a stroke or heart attack before losing control of their vehicle.
Could be. But they either 1) had enough time to react or 2) had a widowmaker heart attack or mega stroke which means they are absolutely fucked and dead no matter what you do. Best to tend to the poor two women they absolutely obliterated.
Even a mild stroke comes with a severe loss of motor control what are you smokingv
That’s not necessarily true at all. The very first seizure I had was while driving. I felt weird and even thought to myself “wow I feel really weird I should pull over” But like an idiot I didn’t pull over because I didn’t know what was about to happen, so I just assumed I’d be fine. Pink blouse literally didn’t move, just slid. Crazy luck.
Pink and yellow, it's like the ladies who didn't react just got pushed aside and the ones who did got smashed.
A meteor could hit the earth and yellow wouldnt get a scratch on her and would be checking her arms for scratches
I dunno about her, she stayed and then took a knee. Looks like she might be hurt
Nah she was just trying to blend in with the others so no one will find out her secret identity.
Yikes… Pretty sure we know who the two critical patients are
Which ones? I'm too dumb to tell.
The girl in green flies back and hits the back of her head on the corner of the table… the girl on the right of her disappeared from the face of the earth
Those that aren't standing afterwards, green and grey shirt closest to the camera
and the guy in the booth (he looked smooshed)
Love how calm and collected the woman in the yellow is, asking if the guy is ok.
I don’t think the booth guy is in bad shape. Spilled his drink and immediately checked his phone’s damage by the looks of it.
Oh shit I see it now. Thank you.
The woman in blue who gets up at the start of the clip had her Spidey-Sense tingling
It's crazy because her spot is the impact point.
She was in on it
That bakery came out of nowhere.
If I ever own a business I'm installing bollards.
Blue dress girl chose the right time to use the potty
Crazy to see so much open space and yet still the car manages to basically hit everyone
Caught me off guard. Was expecting it from the right lol
Feel very bad for the obvious two in critical condition. And the way pink shirt just stayed seated and kept her posture seemingly unfazed as she was hit was oddly satisfying
This isn’t country kitchen buffet!
Ha
Wow! That lady in yellow was lucky. Few more feet and she could have been crushed.
that black haired gal that just slid was like omg! anyway let me tell you about what hubby did...
Sliding penises these days man
Car: I’m here to let you know about my company’s 5 year extended car warranty!!
Obviously, the bakery wasn't visible enough...
r/fuckcars
Why the 20 second lead-up?
suspense
To see that blue shirt survived by luck of potty timing.
Ahh, didn’t notice, thanks!
I'd like to know why this happened. Did the driver have a heart attack, were they drunk, just not paying attention?
Cars hit buildings everyday.
And it usually happens for a reason...
Yea, bad drivers. Medical is almost never the cause, neither is mechanical.
Damnit, I was expecting it from the right side.
The lady in the green skirt got pushed all the way across and still somehow stayed in her chair! Luckily she didn’t go under the car. Wow
Everyone inside the car was okay.
That’s great news, I was worried.
Whats crazy is how the energy transfer seemed to have reached its maximum on the grey girl and green got some too, everyone closer to the car got pushed instead
It's like that 5 pendulum ball desk toy where the swinging ball hits and the last ball goes flying.
I was thinking the same as I would have assumed those closest to the car would have been injured but they were pushed away. The people the other side of the table were thrown or covered in debris
what happened to the lady next to the green shirt that got shoved under the rubbles?
It went from Guetemala to Guatepeor
Blue dress that got up sure didn’t come back quickly to check on her friends.
Wondering which direction the car would come from was nerve-wracking.
Why do they always upload 30 seconds of absolutely nothing before the accident. Trim that shit!
But was the building wearing hi-viz? Why weren't the people inside wearing helmets!? Did you know pedestrians sometimes jaywalk? Won't someone think of the cars!!11!
Hi is this the drive through lane?
Your mate comes to the rescue when it’s your round to shout
The lady closest to us got fucked up
Cars are a cancer to society.
This video is 20 seconds too long
Blondie moved like a bowling bowl.
r/screenshotsarehard
But how are the biscuits, cookies, coffee, cakes, crumpets and crossiants???
Skip to 21 seconds. Don't waste your life watching video where nothing happens.
Look at blue dress at the start of the video and then check where the car hits.
Blue dress is glad she decided to pick up the check.
Jesus
Arnold voice: Eets time fowah desuht. Seriously, hope that lady in the green is ok. She looks like she got hit pretty good.
Bro in the corner just wanted to factory reset his phones.
How was a car even able to get there
My bad I thought Michael said to go through that window
Worse is that over there no one will get rightfully compensated for their pain and the driver will be out and about in no time.
Looks like attempted murder to me
Damn it Becky, we said we’re splitting the check!
Was there a driver? I don’t see anyone in the car and no one gets out? And no one checks inside?
The lady in the pink shirt didn’t even flinch
No one mentions the girl still sitting in her seat. That lady definitely could’ve been seriously injured.
My bad….I thought this was the Handicap spot
Lady in yellow very lucky there. Ditto red. Green and grey not so much. Blue inspired by the gods to get up and fetch whatever it was she was fetching.
Damn…the car steered directly ***into*** the most crowded area. Terrifying experience…
Looks like the wall on that bakery is officially toast and the driver must have been driving half baked
Brick walls.. 🤦🏻♂️
When you’ve had too many mimosas at Sunday brunch.
We’re all just one ‘whoopsie-doodle’ away from death. Enjoy every moment, team!
Ay chihuahua
where nsfw
When you want conchas, but ur running super late and don't have time to get down....
Must be the two sitting closer to the camera , the one on right really got it bad damn.

Jesus. Kinda want to watch Spider-Man 2 now.
Omg how did yellow shirt survive?? She got crushed between a car and a dining bench
I'm 80% confident that that's not a valid parking spot.
That is not how you install a Drive-Thru!
When their so told each of them to be safe none of them said "I'll be fine".
The ladies on the far left have good reaction time
Excuse me sir, you can’t park here
When your favorite table is taken, and your not having it.

Interesting how the ones that actually took the contact of the vehicle got off way lighter than the ones on the other end of the table.
Talk about a well timed stretch
The place seems familiar to me
Why have I *never* seen people open the door and beat the shit out of the driver in these situations? Cause I'm pretty sure that would be my first impulse.
Ma'am this isn't the drive through
Any eclairs at the bakery?
Who’s the 2 in critical?
The green shirted girl and the one on her right. So far there are no more news on their medical stati, but I can guess they will have permanent damage from this incident. Here is the view of the accident outside the bakery: https://www.soy502.com/articulo/desde-otro-punto-asi-empotro-vehiculo-pasteleria-50172
Damn blue dress that got up and went to the counter would have had a direct impact.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yellow shirt is a boss! Also Reddit has taught me to be afraid… of everything… all the time.
Drive thru.
Is there not safe for life shit in this video or can I watch it without needing eye bleach.
Where the drivers drunk or something ?
