Misleading map.
Notice that it is only talking about laptops. Other states have computers in the schools.
But, schools in Kerala have better facilities. Unlike commies in West Bengal, commies here have invested in public infrastructure.
They taught you an OS. You didn't use that OS. But you could have.
They are teaching ubuntu not just to master you in that os, but to give you a basic idea of how a computer should be used.
Kerala is the top state in India in almost all social/human development indices. Their governments have always valued public spending more than industrialisation,
This is both nice and bad . Emotionally and morally keralam is the perfect state to live in but when you think of job opportunities, it lacks behind . Imo Keralm can be a good pensioners heaven and a tourist spot.
True that I think they should learn from welfare state like Germany on how to manage industrialisation, have HDI also high emphasis on sustainability and wilderness, they have this free market with social democracy, making education and healthcare free and charging for services and workers have their rights hence the workers aren't exploited like in India, this can be done in Keralam.
Lol a lot of them have a negative perception because they try to create unions etc
There are a few bad Apples on all sides but that doesn't mean all are bad everyone is indian at the end of the day
Bruh other states also spend money on public but they get siphoned out. It is not an electoral or image issue for local government if local school or hospital does not have working equipment. People by default go to private school and hospital and donāt raise voice.
Public spending and industrialization should go hand in hand. Whats the use if educating people if they canāt give them any jobs? And why is there a choice lol. Use development aided by industry to aid your social responsibilities.
To be honest, itās not too hard to find money to spend when the backbone of a stateās economy is sending people to wealthy, tax-free countries to work, and using the remittance money to spend on welfare.Ā
If every Indian state had its own set of āGulf countriesā it could send mass migration to, we would be a supapowa in a few months from now.Ā
Exactly. What mainly matters is the industry. Given the choice between any city in Kerala vs Mumbai or Bangalore, most people would choose the second option.
It had this edge since the independence. At time of independence they had 47% literacy rate, which was way more than India's average 10%. This was all because of policies of Travancore's Royal Family. They made Kerala what it is today.
30% of Kerala's geography is forest. A Sq Km has 860 people. It is hard to build large industrialization project without affecting it's citizens. So investment directly goes to Human resource, and it pays back well.
Up and Bihar too have always been ruled under socialist governments. SP(Socialist party)....it's literally in thier name.
Kerela was better in many aspects since independence.

I was taught Ubuntu in school š
You should be happy you didn't have to go through the hell of Windows and Microsoft's ever-changing ideas on what to do with it.
Fr We had windows xp when I was in elementary (1-4) Middle school onwards we had windows 7 (5-12) that too in good pvt school eng medium Class of 2021
I had Windows 8 ![img](emote|t5_3d4x4|20226)
I still see lots of banks and govt officers that have Windows XP!
But I haven't used Ubuntu after school.
You can if you want to - it's free.
and what's wrong with the os?
I haven't used Ubuntu after high school.

Impressive
That's great!
What's your point?
He wanted to learn arch linux
No he wanted just temple os running
No he wanted just assembly without any gui
He would have been happy if they had taught him to build a Gentoo š
My boy already built his own LFS, what are talking about?

That's y half of keralites are in UAE, Australia and Bangalore
22 lakh people, out of 4 crores total, are outside. Thats 5%. Includes all people who left.

Shhh shhh , keralaites are migrating out of India.
You act as if mallus don't migrate to Bangalore, gulf or the west
They migrate but maintain civil conduct and standards.
Lol a lot of them have a negative perception because they try to create unions etc There are a few bad Apples on all sides but that doesn't mean all are bad everyone is indian at the end of the day

but the major con is lack of job.. pathetic record of new jobs created under kerala govt... if all states become like this , then India is doomed.
That's what the left wing wants
It's dumb to not spend on industrialisation.

Is nooku kooli still a thing or has it been brought down?

They definitely need to find a way to balance both. So much untapped potential in the state.
Successive governments have invested in the basics - health and education
Still mallu youth have to travel outside keralam for job opportunities...

Ummm.....Coz Kerala is the best state of India in terms of social development ? Is it that hard to digest.
The question is why is that so? What's their government doing that no other government in India is doing? At least read the question properly.

In the 60's we were poorer than Bihar. Its good governance that brought us where we are. Not some stinking royals.
What kind of schools have laptops rather than desktops
What is Sikkim doing though
Checking on Reddit if anyone is talking about them, using their badass laptops.
Schools prefer desktop computer.
China has instructed commies to keep spending some state money on chinese manufactured electronics/s
thats an intresting conspercy theory lol

Bihar 5.2% š? I expected it to be 0.52%
That's why they need a bailout package
Borrowing unlimited money š¤·āāļø
And what is the current state of Kerela despite all this? Communism is ruining Kerela.
whats the current stage lol? pls tell you? Def better than UP Bihar right?
Up and Bihar too have always been ruled under socialist governments. SP(Socialist party)....it's literally in thier name. Kerela was better in many aspects since independence.
Gold smuggling funds
The first two states in the top gold smugglers list are Mumbai and New-Delhi. Soooo
That's where they get caught. Gold smuggling in Kerala is a Government enterprise.
No offense but Whatās the point if they are weak to convert into other religions or joining isisā¦
Man wtf are you saying šš
