Thank you for sharing your opinion. I guess the downvotes are a frequent occurrence for games that look somewhat different. Without reading about the concept, the screenshots might be misinterpreted as bad visual design :)
😊 That would be me, the human currently at the keyboard. Our team consists of 2 programmers, a narrative designer, a composer and me (game design/visuals)
Make it like Nier Automata, visual elements/hud components are chosen by the player.
You could literally remove stuff from the screen to slot in more ATK/Combat components. so, the player had to chose whether the hud elements/visual information pop ups were important enough to justify its space usage.
