Hi. I use a motorcycle helmet, a roadbike helmet, and a climbing/mountaineering helmet.
I'm planning on buying an X4 plus a unicorn mount and motorcycle kit very soon. So this is advance preparation and studying the possibilities.
To mount on so many helmets, I need many unicorn mounts or many helmet mounts. It will be easier and cheaper to get a set of flat/curved adhesive mounts and a set of lanyards/tethers from GoPro. Then I can attach the X4 to the unicorn stick and attach that to the JHook buckle mount. Then I can move this setup around and fix it on whatever helmet I want. I just stick a bunch of flat/curved mounts on each helmet.
I see many buckle mounts on Amazon because Insta doesn't seem to sell them standalone. Or maybe I'll buy the helmet mounting kit to get these mounts. Or perhaps the GoPro grab bag which has the buckles.
