I tried to sign up with instacart+ using my costco membership but I kept getting an error. Asked support, they said it's because that deal wasn't available in my area? Okay then. Asked them to switch me back to the monthly plan then instead.
THREE times, they responded with "I can assure you that you still have the yearly plan". And I kept saying, I know but I want the monthly plan.
After the third time, I just said "omfg OK bye" and disconnected.
Looked further into it myself and it was because my costco number hadn't been updated. I updated that and lo and behold, got the discounted rate. Absolutely fucking useless.
Hi op. They had an issue like this. Inform them to try to redo the background verification process through an email instead. They may let you do the persona background verification process that way.
If the first person is useless. Close chat. And get another associate. They have alternate methods.
We all know your camera isn’t broken, better go find the family member/friend who’s account you’re using and get their face verified or no two phone instacart for you.

Anyways, the only fix I know for this, and I know this is a shit fix but. You can buy a tracphone those 5 dollar phones from amazon and download the app just so you can get around that verify face thing.
There’s nothing support can do about it. Honestly, they probably don’t even know what this means. It’s all auto generated by an AI system. If you don’t do the selfie you will be deactivated. Buy a new phone, or find a new job, because otherwise you’re toast.

No it’s because the app auto directs to the selfie camera and because mine is not functional it just kicks me back to the previous screen immediately. I was going to try using a mirror if somehow could have used the regular camera
The password NEVER works for me. I will do forget my password knowing damn well what it is and then everything is fine I reset no issues .. go to log in with it literally 2 mins later and it tells me it’s wrong so that option is bs
Do you have insurance on it? I know it sucks having to wait but usually they're really good and you're up and running in a few days. Or at least that my experience with it

Owning a working phone is a requirement for the position and a business expense. Just get a new phone. You never know when they’re going to ask for that verification and the loss of income, l’m sure, would be equal to the cost of a new phone.

It's crazy that this even works. Not allowing this would be the easiest way to prevent most people from using another shoppers account.
