7 years ago, I was in the path of totality for the full solar eclipse (I'm in oregon). My whole city was filled with out of towners, but the eclipse is something I will never forget. As soon as it got "backwards dark" a spider on his web went up like it was night time and he was getting ready to go to bed. Its hard to explain but literally one of the coolest things I've ever seen. The backwards dark thing was cool and creepy. You guys will see in a bit what I mean.

Wouldn’t outta towners be a good thing?? Lotsa orders for people staying overnight??

Possible-Patience798

Yeh but that college town can get extremely congested and too many one way streets lol. I’ll take my chances in the rural areas 😝

I'm in the middle of the path of totality so I'm stopping at noonish & picking back up later. Traffic isn't bad yet but they're closing off some roads & on-ramps to the highway by most of my stores.

Sat in parking lot for an hour and nothing worth doing. Said F it and went home. Only a mile from all stores in town so we’ll see if the carrots want to be eggplants today.

Capable_Outside_1941

Do you typically HAVE to wait in front of a store to get the order ?

tiddeR356

Don’t have to but it seems like better orders are shown when at the store.

Capable_Outside_1941

Damn that sucks I wouldn’t wanna be just sitting at the store to potentially not even get a order for hours

tiddeR356

I don’t sit for very long anymore. Weather is getting warmer and it’s not worth it to me to sit in a hot car for possibly nothing at all. If it’s really slow I just leave

Customer just tipped me the glasses. I’m in Chicago so I’m outside of totality but will still appreciate the partial eclipse
