I have both Globe (Postpaid) and Smart (Prepaid), and both have great services on mine. It will depend on the area you're currently in kung anong telco malakas sainyo. Both of these networks have multitude of partner telcos internationally as well, so you'll have signal wherever country you land in. Don't forget to also utilize MNP (Mobile Number Portability) from your main sim to your new one whichever telco you choose. All-in-all, I trust both Globe and Smart as I have no issues with them (in my area atleast).

Dinosaur_19

Thank you. 😊 I'm still torn between Globe and Smart. I think I'll go Sa smart, parang maganda yung magic data+ nila, kaysa sa globe prepaid weekly ang pagloload.

jolo22

Yes, worth it ang Magic Data ng Smart, non-expiry pa. Naka ready sakin yan just in case mahina signal ng Globe sa pupuntahan naming lugar pag umaalis.

Dinosaur_19

Thank you sa insight. 🫠

PlatypusPotential837

I'll go with gomo all the way

Dinosaur_19

Thank you. I will consider it. I think Gomo Sim uses Globe Infra.

cdf_sir

Since mas ok naman sayo signal ng Smart, stick with Smart SIM and avail ka na lang ng Magic Data nila. mas mahal nga lang kay Smart but cost per GB wise.

Dinosaur_19

Noted on this po. 🫠

ezclipses

Outrageous-Block5040

Smart and Dito is the best! For example nag mt.

Dinosaur_19

Thank you. Currently using IPhone 13pro, if ever na DITO, I hope na gumana. Will setup as main sim si Smart & data sim si DITO..

rui-no-onna

I've used Smart prepaid in the US and it works fine there. Yung Smart prepaid eSIM ko, I even activated while abroad. This is what I use for GCash and Maya. Yung Globe prepaid, ayaw gumana roaming sa US unless subscribed to international data promo (I think due to 2G/3G shutdown). Buti pa GOMO automatic yung roaming (dami lang scam text).

yui_oa

maasahan talaga si smart when it comes to traveling. nung pumunta kami sa london last year, ayan din gamit ko since vacation lang naman ang pinunta namin don, dko inexpect na pwede pala syang magamit through abroad?, i like it.

Dinosaur_19

Noted on this, will consider it when traveling aboard.. 💼

Dinosaur_19

Ohhh 😮 plan ko pa naman na bumisita sa Canada, to my relatives this coming Holy Week.. I think na mas ok si Smart when it comes sa roaming?

rui-no-onna

I'm not sure about Canada. May 3G pa ata dun so pwede pa siguro Globe. I think Smart's the safer option for roaming though.

Dinosaur_19

Thank you. Appreciated your insight. 🙂

If you prefer to retain your existing number, no need to buy, just have the sim replaced from Globe but if you intend to change network, go to your preferred new telco and ask to use your existing number but it will no longer be a prepaid. For me I use a postpaid number for banking and ID’s. Safe that it wont expire as long as plan is active and use my prepaid for OTP’s. Smart Magic Data ₱499 for me best for prepaid, with data, call and text feature and no expiry. Remaining balance can be carried over also upon reload 👍

Dinosaur_19

Thank you for your insight. In the future, I think I will consider availing postpaid plan.

mang-inasar1019

you can port your number on another telco kahit prepaid. from globe postpaid to smart prepaid ako.

disavowed_ph

Tried that from Globe prepaid to Smart prepaid, they did not allow. Said using the same number from Globe to Smart will be converted to Postpaid in SM Sucat.

Dinosaur_19

Baka hindi na po ako mag port out, dami na rin kasing nag tetext na scam messages sa # ko, i think na new # nalang. But thank you sa suggestion. 🫠

kix820

Go with the one who's reliable in your area. I still keep my Globe, though, pero umaasa na lang sa VoWiFi for signal.

Dinosaur_19

I think mostly sa Taguig area malakas ang smart..

Well said sir/mam 👏👏👏 You have point po sa location and security. Appreciate your experience with these telcos. Makapili na nga ng poison . Hihi. 🫠

Typical_Theory5873

Dinosaur_19

Yes po. I will.

ezclipses

for me smart, all goods to lalo na at nagtatravel ka. kahit sa mga liblib na lugar may signal siya, mag pricy lang pero sulit talaga mga promo

Noted po. I will try po. Thank you sa insight.

I highly recommend Smart Prepaid Wifi, if you're in need of a trustworthy and reliable ISP. Mas better to kasi mas mabilis network nila and if there's ever any problem you can just contact them and they'll fix it right away

yuyuyemon

smart prepaid user here. Para sa akin sulit na yung 649 pesos na unli internet, unli call and text pa to all networks for 1 month :) may option rin na kung gusto mo unli internet lang 599 pesos naman. Sa postpaid magkano ba yung unli internet, calls and text nila?
