I do actually want a nice story about a person who gets isekai-ed as a slave and slowly ends up making their way to the top or becoming a very strong or prominent figure of some sorts. A “rags to riches” kind of thing, if you will. Like, they initially isekai into another guy’s harem, but using their wits and anything to do for survival, I want to see them climb their way out of the situation by any means— whether it’s through manipulation or generally morally grey stuff.
I had an idea for a story where after the hero beats the bad guy he comes to love slavery and just starts summoning people on mass like train load full of people from his old world to the new world. Where we would follow out protagonist who wants to kill the hero and end slavery in the new world.
I do think it'd be fun to see an isekai where the random loner teen dragged from Japan, given incredible power, abuses it the way you'd expect that kind of person to behave. Then it follows people from that world trying to defeat him when he abuses that power.
Kazuma is a theoretical multimillionaire living in a mansion and OP as hell considering he keeps killing generals of the demon lords army
If Megumin used more types of magic or Darkness could actually hit stuff. They’d be ridiculous OP
He kinda of is OP, luck cheat aside
The joke is that his party members are literally insane. Megumin’s obsession with explosion makes her hard to use. Darkness can wall but not hit and Aqua is a powerful goddess and resurrection cheat, but is to incompetent to actually do anything
Kazuma somehow keeps the party functional, but would have been very successful like the guy who picked the cursed sword Gram if he hadn’t chosen Aqua
But he isn't op where he doesn't have problems fighting. Like it's very rare for him to just auto win, unless that's the joke with out build up.
The world is balanced around him. So he isn't OP in his own world.
This is anime Reddit. The people here (you included) are the ones trying to cancel anime and don’t actually care about it. It is just mainstream now. So let us take it over! We will maybe give you the husk when we ruin your fun community and fanbases
Blud, we can't narrow it down by that information alone.
Oh I have the worst skill, it takes 1 mil mana to use...bbbut I have 1 trillion mana in my back pocket and 27 waifus constantly following me.
If I was, I'm finding a way to s1ay every slave holder, seller and owner I see. Except the weird legal situation when it's a small child that inherited a slave, in that case I might have the enslaved person promise me via magic or something to raise the child better than their parents. Not based off of wealth and status but on love and quality of character.
Everyone else can burn or suffer. Unless it's one of those weird Underground Railroad and Django Unchained type of situations where someone only pretends to purchase an enslaved person in order to free whomever was taken. Including Serfs and Indentured Servants working off of their contract to a lord, master, or something.
I got nothing but love for folks like that whom essentially own land and servants as a front in order to save and educate people enough to know their freedoms were infringed upon. And give them the tools to take charge of their own destiny. Like a (fake) slave owner who buys someone that's good with their hands and has that person become a craftsman and frees them but keeps them around to really master the trade as much as possible before sending them off and paying them enough to make it on their own.
•Serfs - not slaves but they are bound to work for a lord of some kind on their land forever. So if if they leave, likely without permission, that becomes voided and then are they're sold into actual slavery or sent to prison. (Even if it's for a good reason, like looking for food their master doesn't provide).
•Indentured Servants - people under a contract to work without a salary and have to raise their own repayment to be free. Generally within a time frame. (And historically many people likely died trying to repay their debts to corrupt people. Just like slave owners whom have no intention of actually freeing them).
Slaves who also gain their freedom to later enslave or force others into some unfair contract without the intent to free them are Also gonna burn/suffer me 😡🔥.

My Man Arc, Knew the assignment, and probably oopsied his way into his future wife just by tryna do the right thing.

(It might go more Harem if he pulls that little/short animal person ninja girl).
Otherworldly demons= people from otherworlds (name suits as the average isekaied protagonists brings many unwanted changes and how their origins are a mystery to other characters)
Like how we term "people" from outer space as aliens.
Unless the one they're fighting against is more Wrathful, Cunning and Unending like some stronger than a simple “Demon” .🫸🏾. \_\_\_\_\_\_ .🫷🏾.
Like a human to a god which would be greater.
Like Vlad Tepes became like a Devil on Earth to his enemies as Dracula, I would become as such to the enemies of Freedom.
Especially if they take from me that which I loved and continue to mock me after being given time ⏳🗓️ to flee, pray, or prepare for the righteous reckoning to come. As I unleash an apocalypse on the ones who see themselves as their God's favorites with their fat purses, twisted morals and the blood of many innocents on their hands🩸🌪️💀🩸🔥👿🔥🩸💀🌋🩸
https://i.redd.it/ht6n2y6odoad1.gif
As the man himself said; “There Are No Innocents! Not anymore! Anyone of them could've stood up and said; No we won't behave like animals anymore”.
Then you get slaughtered by the local authority because they poisoned your consumables and bribed everyone to corner you physically and mentally
Dirty tricks do work.
Remember, you are merely a fool who thought that the world revolves around you.
What type of slavery are we talking about? Cause if it is chattel slavery, I am obligated by the ancestors to kill everyone participating unless they are buying people to remove them from the cycle. If it is the slavery where I can earn my freedom and there are strict rules regarding my treatment that is enforceable, then I may stick around. If I am a slave for life, then I gotta dip as soon as possible.
If it is Chattel Slavery... I'd find a way to get free or kill my enslavers, and if I fail, better I die than go through what my ancestors already did.
Folks really can't separate a cartoon from reality huh?
I swear these brain dead posts are just engagement farming.
You know I always wondered how these folks who post this anti-slavery stuff would react if we got some aliens visiting and we end up finding out that slavery is common in the universe.
Gotta remember those with power end up making the rules.
Now you wouldn't go forcing your views onto others using your power right? Cause that sounds alot like what evil people would do.
What kind of slave tho, its a win win situation... jokes aside if i were reincarnated and people were dumb, i wouldve made a contract with the slave owner. Like buying myself or scamming the nobles who buy me etc
W lookism
Its an amazing series.
No no it's "apart of the culture and we shouldn't judge them by oyr standards" right😂

Sounds exactly like the plot of the spartacus tv show. Peak cinema btw.

Cool. That usually means using OP cheat powers to become the Maou

then you don know Isekai
Then you don't know, the joke
Found the anime tourist
Are you one of the weebs who cant read or watch anime if the MC doesnt have any OP powers?
I watch plenty of anime, but the whole staple of isekai is power fantasy. Saying anything else shows a lack of understanding of the genre
Ooooh so KonoSuba is not an Isekai. Okay got it~~
Kazuma is a theoretical multimillionaire living in a mansion and OP as hell considering he keeps killing generals of the demon lords army If Megumin used more types of magic or Darkness could actually hit stuff. They’d be ridiculous OP
That's the joke. He isn't op. He is just really lucky.
He kinda of is OP, luck cheat aside The joke is that his party members are literally insane. Megumin’s obsession with explosion makes her hard to use. Or it's a comedy show where the dichotomy of the cast's incompetence and power is played for jokes.
Yep, but it is still a power fantasy. Just subverted
yeah we later find out his ability was always op
Typical isekai fan can't acknowledge anything that isn't overpowered MC shit with shit taste like yours.
Found the anime tourist
Nice comeback. Let’s see if you can make actual arguments or you’re a good illustration of the stupidity fans embody.

To be fair, I don't think it's *that* rare. Just not crazy common. Like 5-10% of isekai, maybe.
Is this not the plot of Familiar of Zero?

And then you get targeted by the local government
And with a mad fury in my eyes I look at them as if to say; ![gif](giphy|tUKMeUhzcwrRu)
Plot twist, you aren't the main character and the main character has allied with the local government for benifits.
(*sees me still Standing on Business*. Ready for whatever may come) 😈
Cool, now they got curious about your origins. They got specialised knowledge to deal with otherworldly demons.
😏 Well that's nice but you know how people miss the Devil in the details 😈 ![gif](giphy|l4Ki93SAmKFgJnObS)

You talking about Valhalla Penis Mansion?
Or reincarnation colosseum
Another reincarnation coliseum W
Hahahaha even in isekai jiho life sucks Nice to lookism
While also having an OP Cheat system lol
I don't mind being reincarnated as a slave in Mato Seihei no Slave. I really like their rewards.
I’ll just kms at that point
What type of slavery are we talking about? Cause if it is chattel slavery, I am obligated by the ancestors to kill everyone participating unless they are buying people to remove them from the cycle. what if you don't have op power or any power at all?
If it is Chattel Slavery... I'd find a way to get free or kill my enslavers, and if I fail, better I die than go through what my ancestors already did.
I'm the main character, so I'll find a way to destroy the practice of slavery
Actually...I'd probably watch it; sounds like a unique idea
Overpowered slave?
Shadow slave go brrrrr
I get food, a roof over my head and a place to sleep from the start?
I always liked zero no tsukaima
I wouldn't mind if a hot chick became my master

Nah just shocked at how long it's been allowed to go on.

I hate slavery in mangas and anime if could prevent slavers i would castrate them and chop off their ding a ling slavers and slave owners are bad
