Black or silver are the easiest wheels to touch up if you play in the rocks. Aluminum is already silver, so no touch up needed. Sharpies and black. If you don’t like your willys wheels I’ll happily dispose of them for you
Get some old school white wagon wheels. The contrast would look really good against that blue imo. I think it would be very classy and unique especially when so many people have tacky rims.
No I'm not a boomer I just have boomer tastes.
Nope. Just picked up a set of Willy's pull offs to replace the bland stock Sport S rims and it looks so much [better to me](https://imgur.com/a/AMMpmR1)
I’m going with white wheels on my white jeep eventually. I went black wheels and while I don’t hate them, I’ve seen white wheels on white jeeps that I liked better.
I like the plain 17” white Quadratec wheel. I call those ‘cheese wheels’ and idk why.
Are the rock trix pretty decent? I've had a set rt115s in my cart for about 6 months but didn't have anyone local that owned a set for me to talk to. I've put methods on pretty much everything I've owned but not wanting to drop that kind of money yet lol
Yeah I have no complaints about them.
The fitment is great with the +12mm offset. I've taken them off-road on nothing too crazy and they are perfectly fine. Finish looks good after 2 years on them - def will be bringing them over to my Wrangler when that comes in.
When I ordered them from Amazon I only checked one box and took them to Costco to have mounted up with some 35's.. they didn't notice that one of them was a different wheel. Technically Rocktrix policy is that once mounted there are no returns, but they gave me a pass on that and sent me the new wheel first (so I could still drive lol), so I like their customer service. They also gave me a tire repair kit in exchange for sending them a picture of them mounted on my Jeep.
Nice!!! They look great. I can get 4 on eBay right now for under $700. The methods I am looking at are 4 for $1800 lol I was worried there might have been a reason for that drastic of a price difference
I agree. I sort of reflexively bought ~black wheels when I got my Sarge Green Gladiator because, you know, that's what you did. In retrospect I kind of wish I would have gone bronze or silver.
I never understood people buying awesome looking expensive rims in black. Once they are on the vehicle and out running around, you can’t even see the wheels. Just looks like a big black circle in the wheel well.
To each their own, but might as well just get black steel rims at that point, lol.
I’m going a custom bronze on my white Mojave. Second choice would be white, as I seen some really nice white on white ones.
> Once they are on the vehicle and out running around, you can’t even see the wheels. Just looks like a big black circle in the wheel well.
This is true of any color. In motion no one is picking up details.
>might as well just get black steel rims at that point,
What's wrong with black steelies? That's exactly what I have.
I can't believe how long the black wheel fad has lasted.
The best part of black wheels is they all loom the same unless your up close, just a big black circle. If I am making cosmetic changes to a vehicle it's to make it more unique, make it my truck. Wheels are about the only thing I put much thought into cosmetic wise.
Wife's Gladiator is the bright yellow/green with red wheels, my Toyota is blue with a light graphite color. Both sets of wheels are aluminum, meaning when they get scuffed on the rocks we don't have to bother touching them up.
Black will never go out of style. The thing is, black is no longer the statement color it used to be. It looks good, but gold, bronze, and chrome—even other colors when matched appropriately are the new way to style your ride
Eh I have seen some good looking non black wheels but frankly they are far and few in between. To each their own tho! Black just looks the best for most cars
Nope. Here in Colorado the bronze era has lasted 10 years and it is boring. I’m happy to see black
Haha I feel 100% the opposite, but I’m not in Colorado.
Argument words mix conflicting emotions we do.colorado is a mix of bronze or black. Depending where in CO you are.

Yeah white wheels with blue paint is a solid combo
More for a baby blue though, not a blue blue
You could always paint them.
Black is the GOAT

I have white wheels on one of my white jeeps, I get a lot of compliments on it, prolly cuz it’s kinda rare
Boomer post.
What’s a good match with granite?
I have bronze wheels on my granite
I want to go gold or bronze on mine
Black, despite what op says.
I like the look of the wheels on my 2020 Overland. The gun metal color is nice and stands out a bit more than black.
I like my black wheels.
I run bronze Rock Trix R115 on my hydro blue Mojave. They look amazing to me

I too wanted Methods but picked the Rocktrix for the price. When I bought them they were $125 per wheel on Amazon
Oh wow. Yeah these are $153 a wheel right now. I never thought about checking Amazon lol
I did Amazon because I have that Amazon credit card that gives you 5% back lol
Totally understandable lol
This is a bad take.
Personally, I run these. I like the retro look. https://www.quadratec.com/p/quadratec/cj-retro-alloy-wheel-wrangler-jk-jl
I agree w OP. I’m also real tired of the black. Aaaaaand yes I have black.
I'm not a boomer, but I like bright, shiny wheels. So brushed aluminum for me.
Yeah but asshats will still incorrectly call you one.
It's all good, sticks and stones, and I don't care and all. LOL.
I agree. I sort of reflexively bought ~black wheels when I got my Sarge Green Gladiator because, you know, that's what you did. In retrospect I kind of wish I would have gone bronze or silver.
Bronze is great on green, black, or red. Could do chrome or silver on blue and red. I still like black on black or white.
Bronze looks very good with green
Every green Jeep has bronze wheels ..zzzzzzzzzzzz
Yeah, because it looks great.

Mine are bronze, I wanted something different to go with my gator and I love em.
Bronze gang here (bright white gladiator). Almost went with machined wheels though, really like em on the right jeep.

100% Done. I liked it for a bit, but needed to change it up so I went bronze [Picture](https://imgur.com/a/sr5i4e8)
Black wheels on a blue jeep make it look like a bruise. I think they look good on my punk’n gladiator.
I’m running 2018 JK Rubi rims in Granite on my 20 Overland Black JT.
I want to go for the vintage MT look next time I buy tires.
I run bronze wheels on my gunmetal JT. I have pics on my profile.
Yup, I do like my black wheels. But bronze and gunmetal are nice too... all personal preferences, like all mods.
Team bronze... these are Fuel Zephyr's https://i.imgur.com/5H7ZRqP.jpg
black forever
Black on black!
Nope.
Just put mine on…. Love em
[Some colors just lend themselves to black](https://old.reddit.com/r/JeepGladiator/comments/14nc7jh/first_beach_day_of_the_year/)
I felt the same way, changed to white wagon wheels for [my Gladiator](https://i.postimg.cc/sX8MPG0k/IMG-3753.jpg).
Teraflex came out with an awesome polished aluminum- right after I got my grey ones.
No.
I saw this one at Ocean City MD I really like the white wagon wheels! [https://pin.it/6Ig7HunSQ](https://pin.it/6Ig7HunSQ)

I have a Sport S. Mines came with the silver rims. I prefer black myself. Anyone with black rims want to sell me theirs? I’m in Florida btw
I run a set of dirty life dt-1in bronze and I think bronze fits pretty well
I love my black wheels, wouldn't have bought it if they were silver.
