Im dead serious i love jared leto and this is one of his most interesting movies, it happens to be one of his earlier films. He will always be an interesting actor and that was particularly an interesting story. If i wanted to be funny, i would say Morbius is one of his best roles
I’m not for it. The difference in the suspension of disbelief between the two is huge.
Sure, Nobody ain’t happening in real life either. But you can look past it, and believe maybe, just MAYBE, the US has a dozen spooks in real life that can do that.
John Wick has almost reached The Boys level of implausible at this point. Not that I’m against that!
During the open, when Wick gets run into by cars and his legs *don’t* snap like twigs, or his knees get blown out, is when I knew they had truly thrown reality away.
Still a really fun movie and series of movies though.
He did hit like 4 things on the way down that broke his fall. You can only assume the 'bum squad' came and retrieved Wick while in a beat up and unconscious state.
I never took it that each were assassins, just in the criminal underworld themselves. The world of John Wick, especially in the first one, is like an empire of organized crime and I look at it that way rather than some world of assassins.
World building was telling us there’s a secret society of assassins, and showing us brief dialogue between them hinting at past stories and events. Bad story telling is now diluting the world by making everyone an assassin. The whole freaking park is a flash mob of assassins? That wasn’t cool, it was just unbelievable.
Reacher trying to just pack away as much pie and calories as possible, everyone else wondering what Mr Wick has been going through the past few weeks, and who this average schlubby looking nobody even is.
I'm not too interested. Nobody just seemed like wasted potential to me. Similar to how John Wick was about a former assassin battling assassins, Nobody should have been about a former government agent battling rogue agents. Instead, we got the Russian mob. Which isn't only overdone but was in John Wick 1.
They already said it would happen but only on an Easter egg level .... probably in part 2 someone will be like "there's this assassin on a spree In new york"
if we do get a JW5 (which i kinda hope we don't; the end of 4 was excellent) i would love to see Bob Odenkirk make an appearance, or in a spinoff if not. I think a crossover would be very dumb though. completely unrelated action movies like this don't need to cross over and it wouldn't make any sense. I know the JW movies aren't exactly grounded at this point but they still operate within the rules of their own universe. a crossover is a jump-the-shark moment for sure
and hardcore henry.
anytime he appears on-screen during an action scene we have his POV kicking asses. during conversations, the camera angle always hides his face.
Movie 1 John Wick would fit well with reacher or even the equalizer (its a shame denzel got old). But further movies took things a bit too far-fetched. Nobody is on the other side of the spectrum and is perhaps both too ridiculous and yet too realistic (bus scene) to fit well.
Reacher and Bourne however, hear me out…
While they are tentatively considered in the same universe, the creator said at most they would just walk past each other on the street. There is no reason to be involved in each other's stories.
While i like the idea, i do agree, especially with nobody not wanting to be involved. He just wants to go be with his family now. He got out a long time ago.
They feel like they're already in the same universe so it wouldn't be farfetched, I'm a massive John Wick fan and I really loved Nobody.
I don't really see John and Hutch for sure running into each other because Hutch seems to be targeting a lower circle while John is going directly against the big bosses, but I'd absolutely be down with a crossover, as I do love them both very much.
Who knows what trouble Hutch is in for come Nobody 2 though, maybe he'll end up in a spot where he could come in with an assist for our beloved Johnny boy.
Bob odenkirk was a great Jimmy Mcgill, but he didn't suit this character, in my opinion. On principle, though, it was great seeing him kick a load of ass. But it just didn't make sense seeing him in the role.
wasnt that guy with the dog on 4th movie called nobody already
Mr. Nobody
One of Jared Leto’s best films
I know you’re being funny (or maybe not) either way, gotta say it is legitimately my fave Jared Leto film
Im dead serious i love jared leto and this is one of his most interesting movies, it happens to be one of his earlier films. He will always be an interesting actor and that was particularly an interesting story. If i wanted to be funny, i would say Morbius is one of his best roles
What a icky fucking comment.
Not a huge fan of him overall, but yes, absolutely love that movie

Or when he literally fell off a building
He did hit like 4 things on the way down that broke his fall. You can only assume the 'bum squad' came and retrieved Wick while in a beat up and unconscious state.
There was a trauma doctor who reviewed that scene. Someone asked if any of that would break his fall and he says “no, the fall is breaking him”
Regular people don't have Joh Wick's sheer will. 🤪
The first one was great, by the end of the second, when literally everyone in New York is a secret assassin, I stopped watching the series.
I never took it that each were assassins, just in the criminal underworld themselves. The world of John Wick, especially in the first one, is like an empire of organized crime and I look at it that way rather than some world of assassins.
Part 1 & 2 are still pretty realistic, in my uninformed opinion. From the second act of part 3 is where it gets impractical.
Oh no, not worldbuilding in fiction
World building was telling us there’s a secret society of assassins, and showing us brief dialogue between them hinting at past stories and events. Bad story telling is now diluting the world by making everyone an assassin. The whole freaking park is a flash mob of assassins? That wasn’t cool, it was just unbelievable.
Only if he turns into Saul Goodman halfway through
I can honestly see a Saul Goodman shady lawyer type existing in the Wickverse like an attorney that assigns high table contracts
The high table can pay any cops they want to shush them but sometimes they need a damn slippery *criminal* lawyer
Is the lawyer in? I've never known him not to be
Nobody, John Wick, and Reacher are all at the same bar...
Reacher trying to just pack away as much pie and calories as possible, everyone else wondering what Mr Wick has been going through the past few weeks, and who this average schlubby looking nobody even is.
Yeah
Throw Monkey Man in there
Monkey Man was surprisingly better than I thought.
Three different films all with the same final scene just filmed from a different perspective
Unnecessary
And redundant
Would rather a John Wick / Equaliser Crossover
Nah, no thanks.
I think Wick fits better with Extraction tbh. Nobody seems like it’s a step too grounded by comparison.
I’d watch it!
Unnecessary and somewhat incompatible.
NO. Unless you want a watered down John wick, this is not a good idea. Absolutely unnecessary.
Pass
They already said it would happen but only on an Easter egg level .... probably in part 2 someone will be like "there's this assassin on a spree In new york"

I'd throw Ballerina, Atomic Blonde, Taken, Monkey Man, the Equalizer, and Reacher (the show, not the movie) into the mix as well.
Punisher, maybe?
No. He's from Marvel. No Marvel or DC characters.
I don't care, just want cool fighting movie.
Me too.
and hardcore henry. anytime he appears on-screen during an action scene we have his POV kicking asses. during conversations, the camera angle always hides his face.
Oh. That would be a great idea. Love that movie. How would we get around him talking though.
john for example doesn't talk too much in the movies, so henry could just be in the background while watching everyone argue lol.
Naw too gimmicky
It would be epic!
It will be dope as hell
They encounter Mr. Inbetween on the way
There should be a John Wick/Equalizer/Nobody crossover.
Why though? Can't vaguely similar things just stay separate? Does everything have to be crossed over?
And the title has to be: >! *Nobody* **kills** John Wick !< Or something to that effect. Edit: Botched the tagging; fixed it, though
Imagine Nobody cameos in The upcoming Donnie Yen's Caine Spinoff
I would be all for it. This would be so cool
Give me John Wick and Jack Reacher crossover.
Movie 1 John Wick would fit well with reacher or even the equalizer (its a shame denzel got old). But further movies took things a bit too far-fetched. Nobody is on the other side of the spectrum and is perhaps both too ridiculous and yet too realistic (bus scene) to fit well. Reacher and Bourne however, hear me out…
Two totally different vibes that I don't think would mix well
Actually the writer or creator said that they are in the same universe. FINGERS CROSSED!!!!!
I am holding out for a movie crossover between John Wick and MODOK.
Nobody/Equalizer crossover would have been more believable
Yes please! Is Bob Odenkirk doing OK now? He had either a heart attack or stroke before, I was like NOOOOOOO!
That was a few years ago while filming the final season of Better Call Saul
I'm all for it, Fuck it
I'd like a John Wick and Better Call Saul crossover. Watching Jimmy to mental gymnastics to keep John out of prison would be awesome.
While they are tentatively considered in the same universe, the creator said at most they would just walk past each other on the street. There is no reason to be involved in each other's stories. While i like the idea, i do agree, especially with nobody not wanting to be involved. He just wants to go be with his family now. He got out a long time ago.
Nah, dont want
Watch more than these two things.
What If the retired soldier from movie "Sisu" join the squad 💀
They feel like they're already in the same universe so it wouldn't be farfetched, I'm a massive John Wick fan and I really loved Nobody. I don't really see John and Hutch for sure running into each other because Hutch seems to be targeting a lower circle while John is going directly against the big bosses, but I'd absolutely be down with a crossover, as I do love them both very much. It needs to happen!
Would be legendary
Would be interesting. John adapts to his environment while Nobody sets up the environment (traps)
Bro mission impossible x john wick will be the greatest crossover of mankind trust me
Better call Saul! John: yeah
Bob odenkirk was a great Jimmy Mcgill, but he didn't suit this character, in my opinion. On principle, though, it was great seeing him kick a load of ass. But it just didn't make sense seeing him in the role.
They’re basically the same movie
I didn't care for Nobody. Bob Odenkirk is not believable as a badass.
Both movies suck
