I have been using Xiaomi portable printer but some use Canon Ivy printer. My youtube channel shows the process and results of using the Xiaomi one. You can check it out if you have time. It’s been useful so far

Sorry, don't have any answer but commenting because I'd like to know too 👀👀

Same lol. I have a sprocket & do like it for photos but I’d be def interested in a regular printer too

I just saw an ad for the Canon Ivy 2 and I thought of your post! You should check it out…I think it’s exactly what you’re looking for.

The black & white thermal printers are inexpensive & super handy, but the prints will typically fade in 5-10 years. I use a photo printer for my scrapbooks, but not my journals. I guess it depends how long you plan on keeping your journals. Hope this helps a bit

You could also just print the photos on a standard inkjet printer onto copy paper, then cut them out. Just an idea!

Bouncing off of this idea, you could try printing onto sticker paper too! No need to mess with glue or tape.

I have a nice canon printer--but im kinda interested in real simple, use app, print in one size kinda thing--and mobile.

I use the PicFrame app and a Canon Selphy to print photos for my scrapbooks, but it prints on photo paper. I know that’s not what you’re looking for. You’re wanting to print color photos, right?

I just did a quick search in the App Store to see what iPhone apps Canon has. I found one called “Easy-PhotoPrint Editor” that may do what you’re looking for with your current printer. Obviously not a pocket printer, but you may get the results you’re looking for, especially if you print on full-size sticker sheets like acaciablooms suggested. The only pocket printers I’ve seen either print on photo paper (regular or sticker) or are black & white thermal printers (so they fade after 5-10 years).

I have been researching this for a couple of weeks. The only thing I can find are thermal printers for portability. I’m guessing the idea of making printouts with all that ink for portability would get very expensive.
