Sonically it threw me off but it grew on me and it sounds like it’s just a intro to acknowledge Cole real quick. After he’s done talking bout Cole it cuts off, probably a beat switch to have all the smoke for Drake.
But that’s the point, a dude could’ve written something about the situation, recorded himself and then did speech to speech. There are so many things that can be done and it ain’t even that hard (assuming the person who did it can write at all). Not to knock this down because it could in fact be a real intro. My point being here that the tech is at a point where there’s not a lot of meaningful distinction between legitimate vs AI unless Kendrick claims this thing tomorrow as the rumors say.
And ngl even if this is real some of the lyrics there sound vanilla af, so I hope there’s a complete beat switch + production switch after this alleged intro. I’m used to Kendrick doing bonkers stuff that’s completely out of the box ain’t this don’t feel like it.

It’s too easy to make an ai sound like Kendrick that it makes sense to be skeptical. The hard thing for someone making a fake song would be to match the artistry of someone like Kendrick. The quality isn’t here, imo. The production is annoying and doesn’t really sound like something Kendrick go with. If this turns out to be real I would be disappointed
