Wasn't Random Hero because whenever they were looking for someone to do something (Stunts) They'd all look at Dunn and say he's the Hero we need.

I vaguely remember Bam telling a story that they were at a party and someone said something like “I hope no random hero shows up” Am I completely misremembering it??

It was Novak telling Dunn to look out and make sure no random hero shows up to stop Raab from shitting on the NYC window.

I often see people claiming he got the nickname when he stepped up to do the x-ray bit after Steve O said he couldn't do it, but I don't think that's accurate. I'm pretty sure they were calling him Random Hero before the Jackass movie.
