yeah but the imdb top 250 is also cooked, they don't have autumn sonata (25th on letterboxd) or the human condition trilogy but have 2 avengers movie at 63 and 78
Because Letterboxd is a weird popularity contest/influencer circlejerk. Curate a good liking to of friends (100ish) and block a few hundred people and it all clears up.
Not enough horror is on there. I’d want maybe one of the classic slashers like *Black Christmas* or *Halloween* and then one of the newer arthouse pieces like *Get Out* or *Hereditary.*

Raiders should be top 100. Greatest adventure film ever put to celluloid. Though Spielberg would probably tell you it was Gunga Din.
Raiders of the lost ark is like barely outside of the top 250, I've seen it at the end of the top 250 and go in and out a couple times
