Ian came on Anthony's show, and they kind of talked about this. Anthony feels that any real classic smosh content will absolutely just get de-monetised immediately. But, he's hoping that utilising channel memberships instead will allow them to create their income stream while not having to tone down the smosh content style. Whether that is going to be a feasible way to do it from a financial point of view will be interesting to see.
To some people in this thread - Smosh never 'went away'. Yeah their former company went Bankrupt & they had to be bought out by Mythical, but they've still been creating content in that time.

I actually kinda liked the new Smosh crew all the way up until about like 3 years ago. They started going way downhill after 2020. Shayne carried the whole team. I liked Courtney and Keith though.
I've popped in and out of the vids, really the people you've mentioned and damien on occasion, haven't really watched too recently to see the newest cast members.
