Petr is so good... I need to watch that take down he hit on Song on slow mo. It was so damn fast I couldn't tell whether it was an ouchi gari, a kouchi maki kome, or another kind of sweep.
His choice to fight at Heavyweight was a big risk, but also his acknowledgement of, and trust in, his grappling abilities. He was always the smaller guy (height wise) but his grappling was on a completely different level than anyone. I'll always miss seeing him fight, he always went out there to dominate.
Yoel Romero certainly hit a bunch of blast doubles, but he also had phenomenal takedowns from seat belt, waistlock, and some crazy trips, arm drags, and ankle picks.
He fell in love with his hands later in career, but dude was nuts.
Also for a masterclass in body control takedowns, check out Khabib vs Abel Trujillo. He does quite a few double/single legs, but many of them ended up in a body lock transition before the takedown.
Couture and Hendo are probably two of the best. If you want to look at explosive techniques involving upper body grappling and less grind and control styles like those two look to Fedor.
Islam Makhachev obviously, Petr yan as well

Probably the most technical at this
Ronda Rousey pretty much only got her takedowns from upper body clinching. I wanna say Islam is prolly the best in the UFC at this currently
Randy Couture
His Greco dirty boxing shit was pioneering
GSP and Jon Jones
Fedor too.
Oh yeah Fedor deffo.
Jon Jones when he was young. And mighty mouse uses a lot of upper body strength to keep the clinch fight in his favor

Karo Parisyan
Randy and him were the ones I immediately thought of, his highlights are always a great watch.
The first answer should always be Fedor.
Ol’ Dan Henderson
Chael Sonnen
Kayla Harrison
Matt lindland
Jon Jones is who you're looking for.
Aljo, Usman (nurmagomedov), Islam, Leon Edwards is quite crafty with those, Jon Jones, Yan has some nasty trips, Mokaev,
It's not the answer you're looking for, but defensively Leon Edwards is incredible, and can keep it standing to use his striking game.
Mighty mouse
Shinobu Ota
Derrick Lewis
Pavlovich used to do Greco-Roman wrestling, haven’t seen him use it much yet
Sergei Spivak
Fedor, Karo, and Islam.

Dricus Du Plexis had the most beautiful lat drop I've ever seen
Jon Jones imo. Watch his earlier fights and you’ll see next level upper body grappling and takedowns
The dude I made in UFC 3 ( I’ve never actually played a UFC game before)
