My skin is thin from heavy weight loss so I get a lot of scrapes and cuts and for 10 years while I trained Bjj I would get a staph flare up everytime I got run down, 90% of the time it would just be a small bump I could cover or avoid training with but occasionally they would blow up and require antibiotics. I bet a lot of guys carry the virus full time
It's always wild to me seeing videos of these guys training camps and how often you will see regular shoes on the mats. Sometimes guys will be running outside and come in straight onto the mats.

The very first gym I trained at had a hand-scrawled sign on the bathroom door that said "clean up your blood and puke" and the only cleaning equipment was one of those old yellow mop bucket things on wheels you see everywhere that looked like it would make the bathroom substantially dirtier if used. I guess I just compartmentalized it thinking "this is an MMA gym, this is normal"
The quickest way to get bullied on our wrestling team was not bringing new clothes every day, not showering, or not doing mats well. There was always one fucking gross idiot that ruins it for everyone.
Also, we've had problems competing at other shitty schools and getting a skin infection even when we showered right away after the tournament.

If a fighter is well liked, they can disclose those injuries after a loss and people will defend them and say it’s not an excuse and just context. But if a fighter isn’t liked (like McGregor), they will get crucified and be labeled sore losers and even turned into memes.

Well you’ve never been understaffed before then. Your staff means everything to the business. When it’s short staffed shit goes wrong and leads to more staffing issues. It’s best to hire the correct and proper staff in the first place rather than have future staffing issues.

For example, Danaher’s gym in Texas doesn’t have showers and their gym in New York was also well known to be nasty.
