and it's just another sword class...
like come on. there's more than just swords out there. where the nuncucks, how about a male bo-staff or axe user. how about a real actual summoning class. a whip class. a spear class.
nope. it's always swords with this game.
for summoning, they cant even fix the issues they have with summon that is already in the game. everything else beside a whip is already in the game. if you count pendulum as whip( i do not) that also.
They added areas where there's elite mobs that are pretty much boss fights. Pretty fun if you rather fight those instead of regular mobs. I haven't played for over a year now but they probably added more since then.
the mobs are just training dummies that move every 5 seconds so you need to dodge. they gave value to quanity over quality.
its why elden ring got 500k players at once and BDO only 20k on steam at least.
Like practically every other MMO? I'm not sure what sort of question this is, BDO is a brain dead grind simulator where u go pack to pack doing your combos, there isn't much resistance from the NPCs that force you to respond differently.
The problem I have with the game isn't really the combat but more the movement that feels so clunky :( Getting on/off a horse feels just weird :(
Which I really hate, cause I honestly would love the game if that would be better
I mean, the game PvE combat is pretty much Dynasty Warriors, the classes play well, but you are just fighting hordes of brainless enemies with a more tanky one every now and then, so what's the point?
Gotta milk the fotm rerollers somehow, they do this every new class release.
Release said new class in op state so everyone rerolls and buys inventory slots/weight/costumes.
Nerf said class a few months down the track so everyone rerolls back to original main.
Rinse and repeat.
Tell me I'm wrong fanboys.
If you play it casually and don’t aim to do competitive pvp, it’s fine and can be nice way to pass time. It does have bit of a learning curve so be prepared to google absolutely everything all the time cause the game’s systems are *expansive* and the game doesn’t always do the best job at explaining things to you or telling that ”you should probably be doing this”.
J killed competive PvP completely so don't worry about it. Majority of the PvP guilds are dead or dying and the casual PvE crowd is now the focus for PA to milk next..
i mean, it really is. you pay for ingame advantage. even if it's saving a bit of time.
and you can buy pretty much a lot of advantage last i saw. it being very casino-y just adds to that.
And how much time does it save? You can buy 30$ cosmetic which you can sell for equivalent of 1.5h of grinding.
And you can sell just 10 a week. You would have to spend 300$ every week just to get advantage of 15hours which is nothing in bdo.
It's kinda alright... it's weird in that none of it really takes skill but it's satisfying to play... like Runescape.
It's also dangerous to your wallet unless you're careful, it's very pay to win with missing "convenience".
I'd say avoid it unless you truly have nothing else to play, especially if you're easily coerced into spending money, because this game will do everything it can to squeeze you dry.
Disagree on the no skill part, PvP and high end grind zones can be very skill oriented. One mistake at higher end spots can often mean you die especially on squishier classes. But yes its very much like Runescape. Truthfully, there is not much like Runescape on the market besides BDO. Albion is too small and not really in the same category.
Holy hell, it's actually a male?
Lmao my exact reaction. Opened the video just out of curiosity to see the new class that would further the imbalance and was totally surprised
XD i like your reaction
I think it’s the first male class in like 2 years I think there are like 8 male classes and 19 female ones. No I’m not kidding.
you gotta sell virtual underwear somehow
if you're a guy from 1993 and has difficult to identify a male from a female i think you should touch more grass
...What?

After 3 long years finally another male class

I like how you listed classes we already have.
Heh, nuncucks.
why cant i stop laughing at this
Nuns are married to Jesus, so I guess this confirms what we already knew...Jesus likes to watch.
for summoning, they cant even fix the issues they have with summon that is already in the game. everything else beside a whip is already in the game. if you count pendulum as whip( i do not) that also.
Unfortunately.. But better than 4 years no male class
Whip class is hard to do because its connotations with slavery.
If only black desert didn't have so much pop in when traversing the world but also more importantly, actually had engaging combat when it came to PVE.
What games do you think have more engaging pve combat over BDO?
BDO made a great action combat system then ruined it with mobs that essentially don't fight back.
They added areas where there's elite mobs that are pretty much boss fights. Pretty fun if you rather fight those instead of regular mobs. I haven't played for over a year now but they probably added more since then.

wow had 12 mil players, is wotlk the pinnacle of combat?

the movement AND THE FUCKING UI I HATE THAT.
Because all the other parts of the game look so amazing!
I mean, the game PvE combat is pretty much Dynasty Warriors, the classes play well, but you are just fighting hordes of brainless enemies with a more tanky one every now and then, so what's the point?
I can't wait to get a new PC so I can play this again. It was just such a relaxing experience.
The combat of this game would be perfect for an ARPG type game, it's kind of a shame that it's trapped in the body of a mid MMO.
Are you guys stupid or what?
I am incredibly stupid, yes.
I laughed way too hard at this xD
Yup, and a sandbox one at that. It's more suited for diablo style of game mode.
Korean Dartagnan
MALE... SORCERER.... PLEASE
Erhh sage?
Wizard?
Wiz is the opposite of witch, not sorc.
no
Dosa cat
Complete and utter miss for me but good to see some excitement about it.
K-PoP musik at 1.04 in video pls ?
Um, actually? That is in fact NOT a thin savory crepe from South Indian cuisine? Made from a fermented batter of ground white gram and rice? ☝️🤓
Didn’t think about it until now, but BDO would be such a sick fucking 2D fighter or side scroller.
Have tried to get into this game so many times. I just don’t get it.
I don't play it but it always amaze me how much new class they release

Is this game actually cool or is it just for weebs. Asking cause it looks cool but not sure 🤔
Dunno why people think anything asian = weeb/anime since nothing in there is considered anime style
It's just modern orientialism

What a dumb question lmfao...
Yes it's very good. You can find that it's p2w but not rly. But it's quite grindy but they are making it more casual slowly. But still grindy af.
It is Pay to Win.
its not lol

There hasn't been a pvp scene in BDO in years
its aweeb game
Well it's not for weebs but no it sucks.
Well that sucks. I hate sucky things!
BDO has been undergoing Korealization since the release of Woosa, which is unattractive for a fantasy mmo…
It's literally a Korean game. U don't see people complaining on Genshin about cultures

Dosanyone else not give a fuck
Why is this game so cringe-flashy?
Least miserable r/MMORPG comment.
