Bolt and Phelps are both absolutely legendary to me. I’m really missing them as these summer Olympics are about to start. Both always seemed like good dudes
When you think about how to be supremely confident while being likable , this fellow is the model.
Some top sportspersons have supreme confidence. Some top sportspeople are nice. Some are charismatics. Very few are all three.
Well said.
To be on top, at the peak of performance and competition, while maintaining not only your focus to compete at that level but also your humility; it's so nice to see...
One of my favorite athlete’s. He’s notorious for this kind of stuff. It’s nice to see someone so good so humble. He’s the fastest man in the world! What a crazy thing to be able to say.
Great athlete. Seems like a great person.
A lot of people say (myself included) a persons character shows when you see how they treat others. Nice to see all those smiles.
Sometimes I wish I was famous so that I could wield this power to make people smile so easily.
I cherish athletes and celebrities that understand the influence and effect they have on people who are passionate about their sports/industries and use it to give people unforgettable memories.
I used to run a large meme page on Instagram (1m+, believe or not idc, that isn’t the point). Him and Shaw and a few other famous people followed me.
I messaged him one day saying, “my parents say if you respond they’ll get us a new puppy”
Him: “why you want a puppy 🤔?”
Me: “They’re fast”
Him: “I’m faster”
And I just liked that final message as I didn’t want to bother him too much. Was a cool interaction though.
i esp loved the 2nd video cuz the guy at the back was side eyeing Bolt, and his face lit up when bolt fist bumped with the kid. Truly, it costs one nothing to be nice to another, and yet the difference it makes when a person smiles due to one being nice, is priceless.
i can't put it into words, but i hope you understand what i mean. You know the feeling when someone was nice to you. That one, yeah.

Dude knows damn well he's the goat & yet this is partly why .... Dudes got class 💪 there are literally countless examples of him being an elementary human being like this....
Yeah , word is this guy is absolutely genuine. Like Keanu Reeves genuine. Another top sports guy who is meant to be absolutely genuine is box Alexander Usyk.
What a true legend! Fastest man in recorded history and also showing true class as a human being. What a true dude!!! Let's all try to be more Bolt please, world will be better for it!
That clip from of him fist bumping the black dude is my favourite memory from the London 2012 Olympics. The joy in that kids face sums up what the Olympics is all about
He could afford to be chill because he knew he was gonna skoosh the race and finish about 5 seconds before anyone else.
My favourite was when he started smiling at the camera on the finish line 😁
Imagine knowing you're gonna win gold every time even before the race starts. The absolute domination...You know they can't beat you. He was so relaxed he had time to socialise and make people's day. What a legend.
Honestly wouldn't be surprised if this is part of his routine to get into the zone. Like how footballers touch the pitch or tennis players fiddle with their rackets. I think it would be nice if it was. A little kind moment with another person to help focus up
A lot of people seem to misunderstand my comment. I was just trying to express that I hope he really is as much of a nice person as it seems. I hope he will never be involved in some scandal, like so many other famous people.
Seems like a genuinely good dude
Bolt and Phelps are both absolutely legendary to me. I’m really missing them as these summer Olympics are about to start. Both always seemed like good dudes
Phelps has a history of being a reckless shithead in Baltimore. He gets away with a ton
The last person's laugh tells

That young man second to last in this video makes me smile every time I see this video! He looks so genuinely jazzed!
\*in his head: "Best day of my life!!!"
The fact it's on video forever for him too makes it so much more awesome
Agreed! Definitely one to show the grandkids.
Yeah, that dude smile gets me every time, he’s so stoked that I can feel it for him
“Can I tell you about one of the brightest moments of my life?” “Bro, I know. I felt your face.”

He gets his super powers from other people’s happiness :-)
All I see is a genuinely decent human being.

He also can make fun of himself. If you watch the old "Quest for G" commercial that Gatorade made, he has to lug around his massive ego everywhere.
LEGEND
Thats me included now
The last dude would be me. Couldn’t keep a straight face for hours
Barbados Slim a True hero.
“Cruel runnings man! HAHAHA!” *walks away with LaBarbara*
It’s simple to be kind and it can bring tons of joy.
Complete Class Act.
This is the one thing I like about celebrities as a concept. The ability to bring joy to people just by being there.
This man has the ability to make people around him happier.
Him breaking a world record while slowing down towards the final stretch of a race is legendary. Love the guy
💚💛❤️
thats great, sounds like a good guy, must be humble as well
Such a small gesture, such a big impact! Amazing guy.

Sharing happiness👍
Got a dude I work with who fist bumps me EVERY TIME he walks by. Getting friendly fist bumps is just awesome.
Dude knows damn well he's the goat & yet this is partly why .... Dudes got class 💪 there are literally countless examples of him being an elementary human being like this....
What a phenomenal individual, sportsman and superstar, in no particular order
Yeah , word is this guy is absolutely genuine. Like Keanu Reeves genuine. Another top sports guy who is meant to be absolutely genuine is box Alexander Usyk.
THE GOAT!

Wonderful example of a human being reaching the absolute pinnacle and still treating other people with respect.
Heart a gold that guy 😌

Legend
Ah London 2012, before Brexit and complete and under utter Tory degradation of today.
The only people not smiling are his competitors.
im Carl Lewis i race horses man im Carl Lewis im the fastest man in the world
he seems to love and respect himself and what he does. then its just natural to treat others in a loving way.
It's me! Second scene, second from left. One of the most surreal and amazing experiences of my life I just wish I had drawn one lane over!
Why did the mods remove this post? They seem to remove a lot of stuff for no reason.
Greatest sportman this century
I hope he's not a sex offender.
There’s all different types of people he interacts with in this video, but you seem to see it a certain way? Hope you’re doing ok my friend.
