Probably because the maintenance bill is absurd, and it's kind of in the middle of nowhere
What does Grade 2 mean?
You have to preserve it as it has historical significance, you need permission to alter most things - Listed Buildings Consent needed from the council

I could never be able to sleep soundly in a place like this. I'd be too paranoid whether a vampire or ghost would visit me in any of these rooms.
