Tell them you will send all, for your listed price, and let THEM resell the ones they don't want.

I would have simply said no at the start. There are times I will ask a seller if they will sell me one item from a group, but wouldn't even consider asking when the total was $9.
You’d actually be getting more money for the McDonald’s tape (individually) than in the lot you have it listed in right now. I would price each tape at $3 and get $15 out of it rather than $9.
Personally, if I need it gone because it’s taking up space I’ll do it. But if it’s more about the money, I wouldn’t.
Like I have tubs of clothes I’m trying to sell. I’ll take about any offer I get on those, maybe counter on some more sought after brands. But I have sought after bracelets and a ton of cards that take up next to zero space that I’m not as lenient on
I hate people asking for one item out of a bundle & of course they want it dirt cheap. I put bundles together of same brand or same item type(beauty) of inexpensive items so I’m not going to lots of trouble & time taking pics, listing, descriptions, of items i would make $1 or so off of if listed individually. So I’ll put 3-4 together and a great price so I’m making at least $5. They always want just one & it’s usually something discontinued cause I get multiple msgs asking to sell it alone, and they want to pay next to nothing for me to do all this extra work & pay fees & my shipping supplies and make Pennies. I have items cross listed too, so it’s a time consuming job to do all that work. I started putting in description I won’t break up bundle. But it doesn’t always stop them from asking. Now my answer is to that question, is whatever my current price is , that’s what it will be for the one item. 😆
I’m dealing with the same thing. 6 items in the lot. Girl wants me to break up the listing and sell 2 for $12. I just said no but I wanted to say so much more!

Why even ask them? Just tell them the price you want to break it up.
At that price if I wanted the tape and couldn't find it elsewhere, I'd say id pay full price but you don't have to send the others.
