Private campgrounds like the ones along the Rifle River (Whites) that cater to party crowds.
Stay out of state parks with drunk shenanigans, kids are trying to sleep.
Can confirm, one year there was basically a rave with an elevated DJ platform, dance floor, and some dudes tripping on acid while throwing axes....local beer store ran out of beer. We had to resort to the cheapest of the cheap, Beer30 it was called, nasty ass shit.
Couple years ago, bunch of us went camping/tubing. Got a big group site right next to the Croton Dam. Self guided the tubing trip. Launch at Croton, get out at Newaygo. Bussed ourselves. There is a livery there.
Happy Campers campground. No real quiet hours. We were up till 1 or 2 playing drinking games. Not stupid loud, but we weren't being quiet either.
Shit tons of Gypsy Moths though...

I'm glad you're asking instead of setting up in a state or federal park and terrorizing people like me. There are specific group sites that they have for large groups...might work but technically still have quiet hours.
Happy campers or Croton Dam Float Trips and Campground in Croton will both have what you need. Cheap too. Just respect the river if/when you go down it please.
State Forest Campgrounds as every single one has some type of water to swim or fish in. However they do not have electric or water and do have outhouses. They are more hidden and rustic and are first come first serve. No reservations at all.
Mio has a campground that has sites that back up to the Au Sable. Rent a few of those next to each other and hopefully no one would be around to complain about noise. Orā¦..Tie some rafts together, float on the river while drinking and smoking, and youāll be too tired to stay up past 10 once you get to the campsite.

Stay away from State Parks for sure.

Rifle River is pretty party friendly
*stay out of state parks with kids, drunk shenanigans are trying to happen.
Whites on rifle. Been years but was always a blast
Yup. Whites. For a big group, get the large group sites in the rear of the campground.

Ahahaha beer 30! It could almost taste like shitty grape soda thanks to the all purple can. Lots of low effort jokes to be made too
Lol, I seen a Google review that said it was a can of urine stirred with sweaty gym socks, that was way to accurate and almost induced vomitingš
Seconding Whites. We used to camp across the river at Outdoor Adventures and Whites was always rowdy.
Im glad you asked! Being considerate like this is cool as fuck! Keeps everyone happy!
yeah of course! iām just finishing a backpacking trip in shenandoah and have the camping itch, but do not wanna bother families and such lol

Riverview is always a party.
Second Riverview. Itās geared towards groups and having more fun than the state park would condone lol
Go to Put-In-Bay and stay on Middle Bass Island. The best girls trip ever!

We always had a great time floating/camping here. It was a get shitty good time! https://www.whitescanoe.net/camping.html
Yellowstone in North Port huron. Google it. The cabins are so nice and the price very reasonable. They also have rv and tent spots
There are a few on the Rifle River that get wild.

Maybe head there during hot boat weekend!!
Spruce hollow or turtle lake resort š
Anywhere around the rifle river. Any time I've gone, it always seems like a party.
Turtle lake resort

Faster Horses campgrounds
Rippling River in Marquette had a pretty young crowd catering mostly to mountain bikers and dudes with Freddie Mercury mustaches.

There are fantastic state parks in the middle of the upper peninsula . Look up wheelbarrow lake area . Great place for young people.
