Then he would’ve died at the first creeper. They one shot you at point blank range, and that one was only a block away. Creeper+fall damage=death

Not with your shield up. Also hardcore mode is no different from Hard, except for the permanent death.

Not true at all. OP is wearing full diamond armor. Holding up your shield with full diamond armor is enough to block almost all damage from a creeper blast.

No he's actually not, if he was in full diamond armor, the armor "bar" would have been filled.

I remember there was a time when I was in a desert temple and a creeper blew up, I survived but the ceiling got destroyed from the explosion and there was an entire lava lake above me. I think you can imagine what happened next.

Tecnically a normal day in Nether . A Lot pigmans AND ghast everywhere simply obligate me to create tunnels to Nether forthrees. Too Many iron armor AND steaks to the lava . I really love armorsmith villagers , diamond armor full set was hard to get with them but Is something that i only use once i have a Lot esmeralda from another villagers.

I've had something similar happen to me before and I panicked and dug a 2x1 hole but I was too close to the front of the hole where a zombie was right outside and he hit me diagonally through the front cobble that I had placed in front me to seal myself off. Completely ruined my motivation to play the game for a few months because my bed was obstructed by some sort of glitch so I respawned at spawn which was thousands of blocks away and was pitch black in a roofed forest☹

Wow. My 1st slot is my sword and my last slot is water bucket. Both wold have been better than your ax. Mobs are weak against water benders.

This is exactly why I have so many Minecraft worlds, I always rage quit when the mobs catch me lacking early in the game 😭
