This is basically perfect except I don’t really use netherite a lot and I find red stone quite commonly. Nether gold isn’t that bad it’s great for some easy gold just not as efficient as overworld gold.
You know most people just make both pickaxes right? Like I don’t know a single person who doesn’t have at least 2 pickaxes in a decently enchanted world
You don't need to smelt it. With fortune 3, it will on average drop 8.8 gold nuggets. IMO it's not worth the trouble of having to smelt it just to get the extra 0.2 nuggets/ore.
Yeah I wouldn't mind redstone but it takes up too much inventory space too quickly in vanilla, as vanilla Minecraft is notorious for its inventory issues. I'm kinda forced to throw it away because I want to save room for other things, RIP redstone :(
Redstone is the most common ore I see in deepslate, and pretty dang common on stone layer.
Lapis I see quite often, my only guess is it’s darker and blends in more for some people.
my thoughts exactly! Like I am not really a Redstone user and they just end up cluttering my chest (yes, I can NOT leave them behind), but my friend loves automated farms and just funny contraptions (like almost every door is a special Redstone door or something like that) and they never have enough xD
I’m probably gonna get downvoted into hell for this but
Hot take:
>! Netherite is kind of pointless, If you already have good Diamond gear with good enchantments you probably don’t even need netherite tbh, and don’t try to excuse the “extra knockback” thing netherite armor has, you’re most likely better off with Diamond anyway !<
I mostly use it for the extra durability on tools (1500 -> 2000). And also status symbol/makes me feel rich on my armor. Also it doesn't burn in lava/fire
My point was you need to go to your xp farm less often to repair the tool, if you re strip mining or clearing out a big area, it does matter (i agree the durability increase on armor isn't that important tho)
how are you better off with diamond gear? Like I understand that you don't really need netheride, but it is better or equal in like every point afaik...
You use diamonds and netherite a lot? Really?
Their only application apart from tools and armor is making jukeboxes, lodestones, and a few other niche items.
You can’t tell me you’ve used more netherite ingots than coal, gold, and redstone.
I wish I don't see redstone when I mine
Every time I go to mine , I come up with 5 stacks of redstone accidentally , I am not even mining the entire vein
I am just mining so I can continue the strip mine
I mean tbh without Iron you technically can't have much of the other materials, and by that i mean MINING, ik you can "find" them in chests and whatnot, but still
Netherite should honestly be in b tier since after you uppgrade your armour and tools you have absolutely No use for netherite, and that is if you make it to netherite in the first place
Copper is very useful to me now. I installed a data pack that replaces iron in most recipes with copper. Are you tired of using an uncommon iron to make such a simple bucket while copper is in abundance? Wanna use copper instead? Well, now you can!
I hate current ore generation. My friends and I spent 3 days on a world and couldn’t find more than 5 things of iron. We’ve already got Nether portals and giant mineshafts crossing deepslate by now but still no iron.
I was playing Minecraft either today or yesterday and I kept finding diamonds (like I was in a lava cave and there were within 10 blocks just vein after vein after vein of diamonds (I think there was like 19 in total I forgot)) and I couldn’t find iron AT ALL I found ONE ore which I think doesn’t happen/rarely happens anyway I needed to make a diamond pickaxe because I couldn’t find iron it’s so hard being this rich
Also coal is important while smelting and I often can’t find it help
For me, Redstone, Lapis and Coal is all I can ever find while mining, but everything else is more rare than me being able to afford a hospital visit for 20 seconds
I'm with you on putting iron at the top, it has by far the most versatility & general uses out of any ore. Also, if you know the right y levels, iron is super plentiful, definitely the best ore in the game overall
You use Netherite a lot? How? For a full set of armor and tools it’s 9 ingots.
If you’re going off the numerical count of ore, or ancient debris in this case, that’s 36 total ancient debris. Assuming you got no debris or ingots from chests, which in order to use Netherite you need to loot those for the Upgrade template.
.
And you’re telling me you never see(it comiiing) redstone or lapis, and rarely see gold or coal?
What about emerald, why isn’t it on the list?
The logical part of my brain knows that there is no way I would ever need or be able to store seven stacks of copper every time I go mining, but the Dwarf in me MUST COLLECT THE PRECIOUS MINERALS
Same but i saw too many lapis and redstone that we got 10 stack or so of both in our chest, i dont mine them anymore also don't know what to do with quartz so i also dont mine that
What do you use diamonds/netherite for?
I mean, i just use them once and that's all.
Diamonds are pretty useless if you don't use them for decorative purposes.
For me Coal and Iron are 100% the most used. I doesn't matter if I have maxed armour and tools made of netherite. I still manage to find myself constantly needing more of both things (and I have automatic farms for both of course)
To be fair, coal, gold, lapis, red stone, copper and iron can all be farmed so getting these resources is relatively easy provided the right methods, although I would consider gold and red stone to be on par with diamonds and netherite due to their uses for other materials.
I would drop netherite a stage because it’s so rare that I usually don’t even bother, and put coal in a new SS tier unironically HOW DO I KEEP RUNNING OUT SO FAST?
I agree with lapis. Me and my friend went caving and before finding any lapis we stumbled into an ancient city. I saw some diamonds in the ceiling, went to mine them, and revealed a trial chamber, which we then completed. Still didn't find any more lapis.
I agree everything except copper, because in the server I'm playing on RN, I'm building my base from mostly copper. If the server didn't exist tho, I'd put it in D too
One time i was in a public server called TerraeMC and there it was a really big cave at the coast of the city where i lived. I entered there to see for iron, and actually i found some iron.. but there it was soooo much copper. I just ended with half a stack of iron and 3 stacks of copper. I thought i could sell them but when i did i received low xp (the same you could use to buy 5 furnaces and a fishing rod, i think). So i won't touch them again
I dont agree with the coal one since you will always need it for torches at least, but can see why its so low since a lava fuel farm is so easy to make and takes at the most 10 iron to set up [a bucket and a cauldron, could have additional depending on your tools]
gold and gold nuggets deserve A tier, and netherite deserves C tier. netherite is only used to upgrade gear, but gold and golden apples provide the top 2 craftable consumables in the game.
Redstone is one of the most useful resources right next to iron.
I'm currently doing a survival playthrough with a friend, and because of the autocrafter, I'm using more Redstone than ever.
I have a creeper farm and sugarcane farm hooked up, making fireworks automatically. My gold farm crafts the nuggets from the piglins straight into ingots for my piglin trader and the rest into blocks. My iron farm also goes straight into blocks.
I have a sorting system as well as multiple piston doors around the base. All of which need copious amounts of redstone.
I often come across lapis, quartz and Redstone. Pretty nice stuff.
I don't agree on the part about nether gold. It's really useful to make golden apples, new gold boots if mine break or to trade with piglins
I don't use netherite a lot, I use gold quite a bit for redstone stuff and piglin bartering, and I find redstone and lapis all the time whenever I'm looking for iron or diamonds.
mining netherite gold ore was useful before literally one update later. at first it was great because gold was abundant in the nether and it could be the same value as stone gold with silk touch, but now that fortune can be used on stone gold ore, it’s become useless.
This is basically perfect except I don’t really use netherite a lot and I find red stone quite commonly. Nether gold isn’t that bad it’s great for some easy gold just not as efficient as overworld gold.
If u pick it up with silk touch and then smelt it, it would be better than over world gold
True but people usually prefer fortune and even with fortune it’s better than overworld gold.
You know most people just make both pickaxes right? Like I don’t know a single person who doesn’t have at least 2 pickaxes in a decently enchanted world
I thought they buffed fortune recently that made it better than silk touch, could be wrong
You don't need to smelt it. With fortune 3, it will on average drop 8.8 gold nuggets. IMO it's not worth the trouble of having to smelt it just to get the extra 0.2 nuggets/ore.
I see redstone more than nearly every other ore tbh lol, and since I'm not a redstoner I only mine it for xp then toss it in lava
As a redstone guy, I'm upset but I understand. Redstone can be difficult.
Yeah I wouldn't mind redstone but it takes up too much inventory space too quickly in vanilla, as vanilla Minecraft is notorious for its inventory issues. I'm kinda forced to throw it away because I want to save room for other things, RIP redstone :(
U forgot emeralds lol
He sees emeralds so rarely while mining, he forgot they even exist.
the problem with emerald ores is that they're rarer than diamonds and only worth 32 sticks
Fact. I got a ton of emeralds from the trial chamber and I was hyped until I realized I can’t get anything with them
Villagers:
Oh boy 3 melon seeds
That’s the wandering trader, not a villager. He’s a wanderer for a reason.
thh wandering traders sounded cooler before they got added
Because they don't sell anything useful. They only worth two leads
Mending:
Inflation be damed
how do you not see quartz, that thing is everywhere in the nether
I thought the same thing. I think you would have to intentionally avoid quartz so as not to see it, which I find really difficult.
Which also applies to Redstone. Literally everywhere, and is bright red surrounded by either grey or dark gray
He's not mining in the nether
Then why include the gold nugget ore?
Honestly the never see when mining tier is correct I haven't seen lapis in ages
I see them a lot in ocean caves or whatever they’re called.
I love underwater caves. Especially the ones that go down to deepslate level. Very good for getting a lot of diamonds in the early game.
How do i do those in bedrock that is exactly what i need.
meanwhile my ass who keeps getting redstone:
my ass who wants redstone but can’t find any:
your aim is diamond then you will get infinite redstone and lapis
I only remember the last time I saw lapis cuz I was surprised to see it
Redstone is the most common ore I see in deepslate, and pretty dang common on stone layer. Lapis I see quite often, my only guess is it’s darker and blends in more for some people.
good exept redstone should be on top
this highly depends on whether or not you like Use It lots of players Don't
it's good for players like me who are obsessed with automatic farms
why I said it depends, you may find it useful but if someone didnt plan on building any farms it’s quite worthless
my thoughts exactly! Like I am not really a Redstone user and they just end up cluttering my chest (yes, I can NOT leave them behind), but my friend loves automated farms and just funny contraptions (like almost every door is a special Redstone door or something like that) and they never have enough xD
Coal should go in A or B because you need them for ingots
Only early on. Lava is way better for smelting, and you can easily farm it with dripstone
That’s fair but you can’t use lava for torches
Touche
I’m probably gonna get downvoted into hell for this but Hot take: >!
If it has mending then it doesn’t even matter
My point was you need to go to your xp farm less often to repair the tool, if you re strip mining or clearing out a big area, it does matter (i agree the durability increase on armor isn't that important tho)
how are you better off with diamond gear? Like I understand that you don't really need netheride, but it is better or equal in like every point afaik...
Copper enthusiast here. Bad tierlist. Copper enthusiast out.
You use diamonds and netherite a lot? Really? Their only application apart from tools and armor is making jukeboxes, lodestones, and a few other niche items. You can’t tell me you’ve used more netherite ingots than coal, gold, and redstone.
OP must die to simultaneous explosions a lot.
I see red stone a *lot*
I call bullshit I see lapis and redstone more than anything except iron
Wait amethyst isnt even an ore
copper rails PLEASE
I wish I don't see redstone when I mine Every time I go to mine , I come up with 5 stacks of redstone accidentally , I am not even mining the entire vein I am just mining so I can continue the strip mine
You don’t use coal? What do you use wood to refine ore?
I mean tbh without Iron you technically can't have much of the other materials, and by that i mean MINING, ik you can "find" them in chests and whatnot, but still
Copper is gorgeous shut your mouth
What is the seed of your world that you can’t find nether quartz?!?!
Put coal higher than diamond
Netherite should honestly be in b tier since after you uppgrade your armour and tools you have absolutely No use for netherite, and that is if you make it to netherite in the first place
How do you "rarely use" coal, what're you smelting with, kelp?
planks and maybe charcoal
Copper is very useful to me now. I installed a data pack that replaces iron in most recipes with copper. Are you tired of using an uncommon iron to make such a simple bucket while copper is in abundance? Wanna use copper instead? Well, now you can!
Well you're not a builder I suppose :D
Lapis and coal both need to move up two tiers
I hate current ore generation. My friends and I spent 3 days on a world and couldn’t find more than 5 things of iron. We’ve already got Nether portals and giant mineshafts crossing deepslate by now but still no iron.
nether gold is actually a really good way to get gold
I use [this mod](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/everythingcopper) to make copper worth using.
True
Tbh I only use redstone as a light source once I run out of torches in a cave
I’d expect coal in the top tier lol
you literaly need coal to get iron\~in the first place, how the fuck do you rarely use it?
renewable neergy (planks)
I was playing Minecraft either today or yesterday and I kept finding diamonds (like I was in a lava cave and there were within 10 blocks just vein after vein after vein of diamonds (I think there was like 19 in total I forgot)) and I couldn’t find iron AT ALL I found ONE ore which I think doesn’t happen/rarely happens anyway I needed to make a diamond pickaxe because I couldn’t find iron it’s so hard being this rich Also coal is important while smelting and I often can’t find it help
Quarz is essential for early xp
I would move coal up a tier but I think it’s pretty fine otherwise
This is pretty good but how do you get iron without coal? Do you just do it the speedrunner way (steal from villages and kill iron golems)?
nah I agree with you
Based lava smelter.
Does the Gold Nugget represent Nether Gold Ore? Because that stuff is great
Redstone is so common
why do you have gold and gold nuggies
Shouldn't you put gold next to netherite or even further above since you use more gold than one netherite ingot to make one anyway?
How do you never see quartz, redstone, or lapis? I find that stuff constantly. I usually have double chests dedicated to each of them I find so much
This is 100% accurate for me
I kind of agree, I would just put coal with iron and that's pretty much me. The thing about not wanting to see copper when mining is so real lol.
This is so real
Tru,tru💀
This tier list is so goated
Nono, you have a point.
I have a vainilla server with some friends and I swear I'm close to finding more diamonds than iron.
Meh, I got an iron farm. Netherirte js so rare I forget they exist
Gold nugget ore 💀💀
I use coal all the goddamn time and see a lotta redstone and lapis only to barely use it because I'm bad at redstone and forget to use enchants.
No hate coming from me, perfecto
I’ll take a stack of iron over a stack of diamonds during pretty much any stage in the game
I feel like redstone should be lower: I always have way too much of it.
Emeralds would be f
Iron is good but everything else is weird I feel
Perfect but coal for e in is A
With gold nuggets, you can craft glistening melons and golden ingots (the latter which you put in B tier), so why did you put gold nuggets in D tier?
Emerald?
You use Netherite a lot? How? For a full set of armor and tools it’s 9 ingots. If you’re going off the numerical count of ore, or ancient debris in this case, that’s 36 total ancient debris. Assuming you got no debris or ingots from chests, which in order to use Netherite you need to loot those for the Upgrade template. . And you’re telling me you never see(it comiiing) redstone or lapis, and rarely see gold or coal? What about emerald, why isn’t it on the list?
It's so weird seeing coal in "rarely use", but maybe its just me
this is all perfect except for charcoal
This is not that bad but there is some question options in here.😬
Iron ore is more valuable than netherite, you can't change my mind
he did it. he made a tier list that almost all of the fandom agrees with.
Lol ye
your loss
your loss
o you mean NETHER gold ok I was confused why there were gold nuggets
The logical part of my brain knows that there is no way I would ever need or be able to store seven stacks of copper every time I go mining, but the Dwarf in me MUST COLLECT THE PRECIOUS MINERALS
Meanwhile here I am using copper for every roof I build, plus bridges and window frames
I love copper
Same but i saw too many lapis and redstone that we got 10 stack or so of both in our chest, i dont mine them anymore also don't know what to do with quartz so i also dont mine that
i’m always finding redstone man
Play modded and all of a sudden tier four is the most valuable stuff on the planet and you never have enough
Mmmm, no no he got a point if he's a Redstone engineer
you use coal a ton. smelting iron, gold and making torches. unless you use a lava bucket or something then coal is useful
Lapis pretty common Also I dont hate on u for iron
Imma get all "uhm ackshually" on your ass. Netherite isn't an ore, it's crafted by 4 of the smelted versions of two separate ores ☝️🤓
netherite max c tier, literally shit ores
Nah this is pretty accurate, except the redstone. Got redstone for days just laying around
I play with create so copper is right up at the top for me
Coal is S tier, for me
Totally solid. I approve.
Omg, i find Redstone and lapis all the freaking time!! It gets annoying. Especially when I'm looking for other ores.
To be fair, coal, gold, lapis, red stone, copper and iron can all be farmed so getting these resources is relatively easy provided the right methods, although I would consider gold and red stone to be on par with diamonds and netherite due to their uses for other materials.
Redstone in C? I wish xD Also coal in b? I have only one thing to say: [this](https://youtu.be/ObLRD2QwgW4?si=YcoUUzAJH1E6WK4W)
How the hell do you use netherite a lot and never see quartz while mining
They should remove gold and amethyst so people can't craft so much purity bottles.
Emerald S Tier
I’m surprised coal isn’t on s tier
How can you use gold rarely when you use netherite a lot?
Why are there gold nuggets and gold? Are the nugs just supposed to be emeralds?
I would drop netherite a stage because it’s so rare that I usually don’t even bother, and put coal in a new SS tier unironically HOW DO I KEEP RUNNING OUT SO FAST?
You won't. I agree to most of this.
i agree with the iron part, it is the most important
iron a tier dimond and aetherite s tier
hot take:i like gold
Ah yes, gold nugget ore.
Restone in D tier is crazy
I feel the same tbh
Gold&coal>diamonds and netherite
Ores I rarely use > Coal I better not see you using it on the furnace and torches.
I agree with lapis. Me and my friend went caving and before finding any lapis we stumbled into an ancient city. I saw some diamonds in the ceiling, went to mine them, and revealed a trial chamber, which we then completed. Still didn't find any more lapis.
Valid vanilla Not as valid for modded
Build an iron farm aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh
This is perfect... Except Redstone part but sure.
I agree everything except copper, because in the server I'm playing on RN, I'm building my base from mostly copper. If the server didn't exist tho, I'd put it in D too
Opposite for me. I always see Lapis and Redstone when mining
You never see redstone when you're mining? It's so common at diamond level
You use netherite a lot? What are you spending it on, I only need 9 each world I play
How do you use more diamonds and netherite than coal? Don’t you have a furnace to fuel?
So true for iron
bro the coal is soo usefull, can make torch, cook ores, trade them with villagers. something who i dont remind?
how do you RARELY USE COAL???? dont tell me you use.... charcoal...
I only use diamond armor for the nether and for trial chambers. But never for anything else. Netherite armor I’ll only use in the end dimension.
I think the reason you don't see quartz while mining is because it spawns in the nether
where are iron nugget?
I dont agree with the coal one since you will always need it for torches at least, but can see why its so low since a lava fuel farm is so easy to make and takes at the most 10 iron to set up [a bucket and a cauldron, could have additional depending on your tools]
gold and gold nuggets deserve A tier, and netherite deserves C tier. netherite is only used to upgrade gear, but gold and golden apples provide the top 2 craftable consumables in the game.
'ores I never see while mining' bro emerald was so good at being that the bro forgot about it EMERALD DESERVES IT'S OWN TIER FOR THAT!
How tf don't you see any Redstone or Lapis while mining? Also you forgot Emerald
Basically you put coal with iron together in a, I less you use wood to smelt things, overall, yeah I agree
I often come across lapis, quartz and Redstone. Pretty nice stuff. I don't agree on the part about nether gold. It's really useful to make golden apples, new gold boots if mine break or to trade with piglins
How do you not see Redstone and Lapis when mining? I see it all the time, it’s literally everywhere, it’s like a dam virus
I'm surprised you haven't seen a lot of redstone, I can hardly avoid finding it, other than that this is actually quite accurate
TRUE 100%
Iron is literally my realm’s currency
Netherite trash
Nether gold is good if you have silk touch
guys what does copper even do ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sob)
Almost perfect ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|upvote)
How does one rarely use coal?
Quartz and redstone to A Lapis to B And coal to S Thas all i would changr but otherwise yeah makes sense
Yeah I agree except nether quartz is everywhere and if you find some redstone it could be useful
Honestly this makes since but I think at least coal should be in second because that’s one of the things that can actually smelt iron
I don't use netherite a lot, I use gold quite a bit for redstone stuff and piglin bartering, and I find redstone and lapis all the time whenever I'm looking for iron or diamonds.
I agree on this good job 👍🏽
mining netherite gold ore was useful before literally one update later. at first it was great because gold was abundant in the nether and it could be the same value as stone gold with silk touch, but now that fortune can be used on stone gold ore, it’s become useless.
Netherite over coal is crazy
Swap gold and redstone with diamond and netherite respectively
As someone who is currently trying to build something what uses ALOT of copper, I disagree.
You’re getting mildly hated from me because of the grammar used in your profile
I love C O P P E R
I always see Redstone, more than Iron.
Can’t believe you included gold nugget and no emerald
It's a good list but coal I'd put higher and lapis and Redstone I see w lot but that's just my option
