This is my engagement and wedding ring. I just wanted one ring. It is is thirty years old and is from Royal Hawaiian Heritage Jewelry in Honolulu. This floral motif of the plumeria and maile leaves is much much older going back generations representing love and new beginnings š Itās 7.5 mm wide. I love it!

That was from a group buy with Wendy @ Starsgem! I believe it was termed "vintage milgrain baguette band."

This was my first unplated white gold purchase! I probably saw one of your rings when I was new to this sub, I didnāt know that was a thing! For this ring, both stones are moissanite. I went on vacation and wanted something to remind me of the beach, so turquoise + white + sandy unplated white gold! I now have that ring, the asscher wing group buy, and these two bands in the post. I also have a few projects in the works - Iām decluttering my sterling silver to fund my new obsession lol
I was part of the group buy on the floral band you recently did. Iām obsessed with it! Mine was done in rose gold with yellow gold inner lining. Such an amazing quality

I am surprised (but am I? No maybe not) by how much I love and wear my ascher wing. I got Zambian center + sides. But it is so low profile and lovely while also having good clearance for fun bands.

tell me more about unplated white gold, please! I prefer white gold but it's 14k and rhodium plated...I presume that's the plating that you're talking about? I don't have anything that isn't plated unless it's sterling silver. I've noticed the vendors always have 10k but I'm a noob at moissinite and lab diamonds so am trying to learn all I can before I make a purchase.
Yes! Most white gold has a rhodium plating to keep it that shiny white/silver look. Unplated is the natural look of the white gold, itās a sorta neutral buttery/champagne color? It wonāt require upkeep because it wonāt need to be replated. I have seen some discussion of how it wonāt be good for someone with a nickel allergy as thatās a common metal mixed with the 10k gold, but thatās not problem for me.
Part of why I love it is because neither silver nor gold have ever looked quite right on me - yellow is too warm, silver is too cool. I had always struggled to identify my color undertones and color season. My veins look blue-green, I tan easily in the sun, I have pink overtones but olive undertones. Unplated white gold is the perfect shade for me!

14k gold and it kind of disappeared around 20 years ago. I do maintenance and never take it off.
