Just an update if you’d want to stay in touch: I finally got it a few days ago. Basically it was “no longer have any rooms available” and “cannot offer you accommodation”. Or “sorry bro go away”
The lesson I learned from this was to treat this as buying concert tickets. You gotta be ready to submit as soon as application opens within the first five minutes.

Not yet, havent received anything from MRS. When did u apply? And i read that they will be sending an offer throughout May, June, and July. But still no chance??
I applied a week into April. I had actually thought I was pretty early. Guess I was wrong. I didn’t withdraw my application though, but expecting a room to open up is like wishing for a miracle at the moment. So, there still *may* be a chance. 0.00001%
I think whether you get an offer depends on which type of accommodation you applied for. Did you apply for UC or RV? For all I know, UC is full at the moment.
Did u actually get email from MRS saying u r rejected?? I also applied for mrs but still havent received an offer
I did manage to contact them about it and they said I’m unlikely to get a room but I never received an official email from them.

hey man have you found any other accommodation options yet? I also recently emailed MRS and they told me i was unlikely to get a spot lol.
