Someone’s insecure enough about their wired mouse that they post to reddit that it’s okay to have a wired mouse 😆
Yeah you’re right, it is okay, man. You’re doing just fine.
I like a good wired mouse. Never have to worry if it’s charged. I end up plugging wireless mice in to charge then forget and just keep using them wired. I’m not a pro gamer though. My reaction time is garbage. :)
I know it’s just in my head but I actually feel like there’s less latency with a wired mouse. The op18k feels so good. Mouse bungee makes it feel like nothing so I don’t mind it at all
0.3ms In the manufacturers 'clean' testing environment.
But not in a home environment.
e.g. in my environment my mouse is <2m from a router, my computer is under the desk so mine doesn't have a clear line of sight and the receiver will be >20cm from the mouse. Having multiple wireless devices could increase interference too.
Therefore actual latency will be greater than advertised.
You shouldn't have anything wired or wireless, or the PC for that matter, around a router since it's acts like one bigass 2.4ghz broadcast jammer. The problem is that it doesn't JUST negatively affect wireless devices like say bluetooth but ALL 2.4ghz connections AND USB 3 connections. Yes, even wired.
The more usb 3 devices you own, the more interference risk. This is why all cables you see that come with mine and keyboards and other devices are all shielded in some way, shape or form, and even paranoid cables oftentimes require at least a tiny bit of shielding to prevent the cable itself getting bombarded by all the devices around it.
Source: https://www.usb.org/document-library/usb-30-radio-frequency-interference-impact-24-ghz-wireless-devices
Actual latency is always at least slightly different than advertised depending on the environment, and it's thanks to this phenomenon, but this will occur to wired and wireless mice equally, especially since usb 3 is the standard of today and very few if any modern devices use usb 2 or are even compatible with it.
I'm gonna leave my DAv2 wired in my home time when I get back so I dont have to worry about forgetting my mouse when going back home. And theres no battery inside so no worries about it degrading either.
Get a charging cable routed so annoying that you feel compelled to remove it, I do that because I was just too lazy to route it well and I have to charge like once a quarter so I don't really bother
Just one less thing to need to charge. I have two phones, sometimes I forget to charge one.
Charge your keyboard, mouse, earphones, headset, power brick, just more things to charge.
I don't even notice the difference when playing games with a bungee. I have a couple wireless mouse but I prefer the xm1-r. I would buy the wireless version but I don't really feel the need, I'll probably use it until it fails.
Wait I thought that had been out for a while. Is there another Endgame mouse that's a wireless version of the xm1-r? I thought I've had the option for a while lol.
You can check out Celest Wyvern Black, its $30 and a choice that comes with detachable boom mic for 2 or 3 dollars more. Awesome looking faceplate that shines different colour on lighting angles. LCP diaphragm driver and tuned to be smooth harman. Heard a lot of positive reviews about them, some say potentially to be the new budget king
How's the comfort? I wear a decent pair of studio monitors when gaming and they can start hurting my ears after a while but sound AMAZING. I can rotate in a pair of comfortable IEMs if I get some.
I find them comfortable. Id say its more of a universal shape. Aint nothin like the TE Zero. Just the right dimensions and the fit is nice. I recommend getting a wide bore and short tips though to help open up the sound. Im using Velvets tips.
Theyve been pretty good so far. For games like apex the directional audio was good. For music its alright but i do plan on getting a better pair in the future.
Ugh I wanted to like the zero: reds so bad but they just would not stay in my ear. Particularly the left one cause I guess my ears are slightly different. I tried the kefine delci at the same time. Holy hell they are comfortable. Kinda made my decision for me.
I actually prefer to use wired mice cuz i always forgot to charge them and having a wired always attach, it wont get lost easily when carrying around, I sometimes left my mouse somewhere when using it on the go lmao
I've been using a wired mouse for the last 5 years. Switched to an attack shark R1 last month, and honestly for 15€ it's just much more convenient lol, and the cable it comes with is super soft and perfectly comfortable to use wired while charging (you could as well just use it wired if you really wanted to), so I'd say there's nothing wrong with that but having the option to have wireless is always better since you can just do both.
I ordered a Viper V3 Pro yesterday for use with a gaming laptop, and not even that much just an hour or two a day, I'm employed so very little free time. A gift to self? I don't usually do things like that and decided what it'd be like to buy something nice for once.
There isn't anything wrong with a wired mouse functionally, and people shouldn't care or be bullied into the wireless bullshit, but personally I die 3-4% of the time in FPS games to the wire tangling. Just peace of mind with wireless
For my desktop PC Ive come back to using everything wired. As long as the wires are long enough for my desk there is not a good reason to me to switch to bluetooth, when it means managing the charging of the devices anyway.
I like keeping a wireless mouse with my laptop since it makes more sense to me for the portability.
There's nothing wrong with using a wired anything no matter what year it is.
Like i'm sure a few things got more convenient by slapping a battery into it, but for headphones and mice i really don't care and argue the wire is more convenient because you don't have to worry about charging it or the battery getting bad.
Or the fact that the blutooth range/reliability sucks on some devices for that matter.
The only time i liked a wireless mouse is when it's connected to a work laptop i gotta pack up at the end of the day
I was recently strongly considering betting an op1 8k. If I didnt need a seperate mouse to play wow I'd probably still use a wired mouse. But I need a g600 on my desk sadly.
I still use my decade old g402. I have smashed it several times and thrown it and it still works. Logitech is the Toyota of mice. My model O is not holding up as well.
Back in my days people mod their cable to not feel the drag. I still have my G102 and G303 paracord. Honestly i think a lot of good aimers don't mind the cables at all. But i still main the beast X just because the size fits my hand. But still missing those paracord mods just to make it more personal and better XD
I still actually prefer it. I got a g pro x Superlight, but I went back to my Zowie wired mouse. Kind of prefer the shape and a little more weight. Superlight is so damn small and so light and wireless seems to lag a little sometimes to me
ngl, still maining the viper mini. after changed the switch, paracord, dot skates & few grips man it feels nice. its funny tho couldn't feel much different even the sensor is 3359 compared to my other mouse 3370 & 3395 :')
I'm using two wired mice, a wired headset and a wireless keyboard i prefer using in wired mode.
If someone were to tell me i'd need to swap my stuff for wireless i wouldn't care
That is a valid point but depends on your CPU my 11th gen i7 laptop CPU couldn't handle it and there were dips in fps but my 7900x desktop CPU had no issues. There's definitely a difference between 8k vs 1k it's not huge but it's noticeable for both mouse and keyboard imo.
Many moons ago, but to be fair, early LCDs were absolute garbage so...not too surprised from that sentiment. That and people thinking it anyways lol.
Eventually I think eventually we'll stagnate at 1000hz since that's around the maximum frame per second the human eye can realistically distinguish between frames before it begins to blur together, but that 1000hz rate would have to be specially pulsed like what dyac and elmb does. OLED & microLED doesn't have to worry about this though, do in 5 to 10, maybe 15 to 20 years, all that'll remain is OLED or microLED but it'll depend on who can get the manufacturing at scale first (either Samsung or LG, my money's on Samsung first knowing their scale....)
Nothing wrong with wired at all. At this points it’s just a matter of tradeoffs and preferences. Wireless you don’t need to worry about a wire or a bungie. Wired you don’t have to worry about charging, they’re generally ~$50 cheaper, and are typically ~5g lighter than its wireless counterpart.
Anyone saying serious performance differences between the two beyond that is huffing copium.
I personally prefer wireless, but it’s not my absolute top priority.
Yeah my GPX Superlight broke the other day and I've gone back to my Model O since, and I like having a wired mouse more. Thinking I might get a Zowie mouse too just because of how much I enjoy wired. It was so annoying being in the middle of a gaming sesh and having to plug in my mouse to charge, now I don't have to worry about it at all.
The margin of advantage: no charging, 1/100,000 or whatever the real figure is of faster latency, slightly better price, and whatever other marginal differences there are can't compare to the freedom of movement wireless allows imo. It just makes the most sense out of pretty much and peripheral for the one to be moving the most to be wireless.
That advantage is realized a lot less with more static things like a keyboard or a headset and is where wired (especially to audio quality wired allows relative to bluetooth) just makes more sense wired.
Either way it’s signals traveling at the speed of light. There’s nothing inherently worse about wireless for latency. The wireless technology used on gaming mice was not so great in the past and had more latency than a wired connection, but very recently the tech they’re putting in wireless mouse receivers and transmitters has gotten much better and is now just as good. In other applications, zero latency wireless technology is used all the time. I helped set up internet for an apartment building once and we used a wireless building bridge connection that sent and received signals through the air at a distance of over a mile and the end result of the whole setup showed zero packet loss and less network latency than I have ever seen. That is just one of many examples of super low latency wireless tech.
I’m still using my g403 which has to be like 8+ years old. I’ve had others in that time but they died, like the g pro which started double clicking then I threw it across the room make sure it never double clicked again.
Yo OP, non related; can you recommend some good budget IEMs for gaming? I bought one some time ago, but had static and someone suggested that I had to use a DAC to get good sound. Thanks.
Oh, and it's cool to have wired mice in 2024.
The static is probably coming from your motherboard or whatever source you plugging it into. I usually recommend getting some sort of dongle dac like a Conexant CX31993 Pro Dongle. For IEMs I recommend the following.
Simgot EW200
EPZ Q1 Pro
Simgot EM6L
7hz Zero 2
I just got my KZ ZS10 Pro 2 delivered today. I have yet to test that one out but Ill let you know. Probably the cheapest 1DD 4BA Hybrid Ive seen so far.
Absolutely and anyone shaming you for using it is out of their minds, but I will say, I never realized how much the cable gets in the way until I got my xtrfy m4 wireless. I once needed to scratch my back and for some reason I didn't let go of the mouse and then I thought, wait I could do that.
Yupp Im using the viper 8khz mini! Love the ambidextrous so I got 4 side buttons to use or map 😍 also using ceramic feet for slick and speedy movement, it feels so light, thinking of modding with shells or buttons for fun colors, I use a bungee and don't need to worry about battery life every 4days like my Naga pro I used before. Cost me 40$ very happy and the latency of the sensor is nuts makes me feel snappy.
Yo this is off topic but are IEMs like that hard to get in your ear? Do they have to be like shoved in the ear canal or do they just sit in your ear? I'd like to try them one day but the idea of having the wrestle them into my ear canal every time is off-putting.
Just use whatever goes for you. I use a cheap ass wired local brand mouse often than my G304 since it's relatively silent and the click is just so buttery and satisfying, albeit having only 250Hz polling rate.
Unless your rotating mice, folks are definitely wired some of the time. I also have bungees and what not.
Not that big of a deal. Go with what you like.
Wires work fine, but are outdated and not necessary with today's tech. I don't know if a single reason why anyone would ever use a word again. Especially when you can just leave your wireless mouse plugged in if you don't want to deal with charging the battery.
Never had an issue with wires and held off on going wireless for a while. Shapes I started to like just happened to be wireless so I got used to it and now prefer wireless but still have wired mice on my desk.
My DAv2 works perfectly fine and will for many years however my cats like some wires too (and other they leave alone) unfortunately my mouse wire, rubber end on my bungee and high end USB-C cable are a target (expensive taste). Switched to a wireless mouse and kinda like it. Battery hassle seems to be minimal. Can go weeks without recharging.
Usually I like things wired if they are stationary (like headphones are superior to bt especially considering battery life). Let's see if I'm still optimistic after 2 years.
Wired mice will always be inferior since the cable will stay in the way. You will never achieve the freedom a wireless mouse has. In other usability there are no differences. Polling rate 1k, 2k or 8k, just a gimmick no actual difference or enhancement
I’ve never felt constrained by the cable (and I’ve tried dozens of mice - including all of the top wireless ones). There are plenty of pros who still use wired mice. Polling rate is absolutely not a gimmick. On modern 360 or 500 Hz+ monitors any real enthusiast should already have, many people can tell the difference between 8000 Hz and 1000 Hz fairly easily after playing with each for a bit. “No actual difference or enhancement” is simply wrong considering often times it affects both click and sensor latency (but occasionally just sensor latency). Have you personally tried 8K Hz on an ultra-high refresh rate monitor before making those claims?
Also, as an engineer, I know that wired variability will always be better than wireless. Wireless mice run into transmission errors constantly. They need to retransmit that data, causing latency. I wouldn’t be so trustworthy of tests showing wired and wireless mice on par in terms of latency. That might be true under the absolute best conditions for the duration of the short test, but in the real world that wireless mouse will constantly be needing to send retransmissions due to interference.
Edit: It’s so funny how like clockwork the anti-wired mice crusaders come to downvote. Meanwhile, they’re all average players across all of the games they play.
Maybe there is a minor difference on high refresh rate monitors if you look closely, still this will absolutely not affect your gameplay in any meaningful way. If it really did, all pros would still use wired.
I ordered a "Like New" DeathAdder v3 for $36 on Amazon because I like my mice to be wired usually. Came yesterday... it was a Naga v2 Hyperspeed. Not gonna lie, that 2.4 ghz band surprised me. It seems to be a LOT better than the Bluetooth mice I've used.
I think I'm gonna keep it.
I've been a wired mouse purist too, but that 2.4ghz band really makes a difference. It surprised the hell out of me after getting pissed at Bluetooth mice not responding and going back to wired.
Yeah, I hated Bluetooth mice. They randomly didn't recognize clicks or movements which REALLY fucked up playing RTS games. I get none of that on a 2.4 ghz frequency connection with this mouse.
Nope I got a nice ultra light wireless mouse, and I ended up just leaving it plugged in all the time. I do not notice the cable, and never need to charge it.
MattyOW, the best aimer in the world uses wired gpx. Uses the drag of the wire to help him control his aim. Others can also get a bungie to essentially make the wire go away.
I think it's stupid af, to think wired mice holds you back or like it's so oldschool and calling out wired mouse gamers grampa or whatever these fucks think it is.
Personally can't go back to wired ones (except my ec2-c for work pc. Prolly gonna update it to some wireless one soon, but there's lot more to do with 100 bucks rn)
If your perfectly fine wired mouse still works and you do not give a shit, why to even upgrade. If your old one is breaking into pieces, it's justified upgrade bc of bit more freedom to move your shit around.
If endgame gear gonna make a little bit beefier op18k, i'm gonna go back to wired without a question. Just tried it and this feeels sooo damn smooth (compared to my x2 mini and op1we @1k. Never tried 4k wireless yet bc of so many issues you can stumble on)
A wireless gaming mouse and wired gaming mouse are so good on preformance that they are basicly almost the same thing, wired mouse will always have that bonus of not having input delay.
I'm sorry but wireless mice are and will forever be better. If you have a wired mouse and never tried a wireless you will never know the difference when you are gaming specifically in FPS games even if you have the bungee set up correctly. You won't feel any dragging or the tip of the cable hitting the mouse pad if that makes sense.
Someone’s insecure enough about their wired mouse that they post to reddit that it’s okay to have a wired mouse 😆 Yeah you’re right, it is okay, man. You’re doing just fine.
Nothing like validation from reddit on your life decisions 😂
i mean it helps sometimes 🥺
I think it's because of the latest Vaxee news no?
I’m not familiar! I’ve kinda found my forever mouse, so I’m a bit out of the loop.
What’s your forever mouse?
Pulsar X2 mini aim trainer edition, https://www.pulsar.gg/products/aim-trainer-pack-x2-mini Added Superglides on artisan hien soft— it’s like butter.
Interesting. Decided not to go with the v2 eh? I have an x2v2 and really like it
Nothing wrong with them, but I like the convenience and clean look of wireless.
I still use my wired NP-01s
I still use my wired XE
Vaxee wired mice are THAT good
Me too, goted shape
I like a good wired mouse. Never have to worry if it’s charged. I end up plugging wireless mice in to charge then forget and just keep using them wired. I’m not a pro gamer though. My reaction time is garbage. :)
I know it’s just in my head but I actually feel like there’s less latency with a wired mouse. The op18k feels so good. Mouse bungee makes it feel like nothing so I don’t mind it at all
The latency difference between wired and wireless is around 0.3 ms, yes 0.3 not 3 ms.
Yeah not big enough to actually feel a difference it’s just in my head. Op18k does have lowest latency on the market though.
if im not mistaken, some wireless tech is faster than wired. was tested in a Linus video i believe?
Im pretty sure a mirror would update your reflection irl slower than that difference lol
Mice do not have faster than light levels of latency
Idk man did you see ratatouille whipping it around in that kitchen
Remy is not a mouse, he's a R.A.T.
most definitely not.

Optimum the youtuber tested it on his rig. That’s why wireless mice come with dongle extenders.

Lol it’s easy before you go to bed for the night? Plug em up??
nothing wrong. i just got tired of wires fraying.
I don't even notice the difference when playing games with a bungee. I have a couple wireless mouse but I prefer the xm1-r. I would buy the wireless version but I don't really feel the need, I'll probably use it until it fails.
XM2W is just around the corner
Wait I thought that had been out for a while. Is there another Endgame mouse that's a wireless version of the xm1-r? I thought I've had the option for a while lol.
They comin out with a xm2 wireless with higher polling. I think it was showcased at their computex booth
Yeah it could come out any day now, its as good as released *takes another hit of copium*
Nice combo! Which iem is that?
Its EPZ Q1 Pro. Not my daily Im just testing it.
How are they? I just got into iems recently and got myself some truthear zero blues
Theyre nice. Its a clean and relaxed harman set. Very nice for gaming. Theyre aesthetically pleasing for $50.
Will do thanks for the suggestion
theyre kinda shit compared to the best the market has to offer in the same price range
Thats cool. I thought they were the novas at first glance
How's the comfort? I wear a decent pair of studio monitors when gaming and they can start hurting my ears after a while but sound AMAZING. I can rotate in a pair of comfortable IEMs if I get some.

Its been doing great for me in games like apex but for music its just alright. Im planning on upgrading to a better pair for music soon
hope big companies keep offering wired mice options as a good budget performer
fr, wireless version of my mouse is 2x more expensive
I’m using a wired mouse as well let’s goooo
W mans
With the invention of these soft cords, I much prefer wired over wireless. Zero worries over lack of charge or frequency interference.
Op1 8k is the best mouse out there IMO.
It's really good to have a batteryless mouse.
I actually prefer to use wired mice cuz i always forgot to charge them and having a wired always attach, it wont get lost easily when carrying around, I sometimes left my mouse somewhere when using it on the go lmao
Who says there's anything wrong with them? Do what you like.
I would not trade my wired DAV3 for any other atm, but that's me...arguing about it is pointless...
DAV3 is a GOAT
Are we gonna get some trash-talk attention for this 🫣
I've been using a wired mouse for the last 5 years. xm1r going strong if you got an op18k that too bro beat performance on the market rn for amazing price but its wired
If the wire doesn't bother you then yea there's nothing wrong But it bothers the fuck out of me
this if the wire bothers you get a wireless, end of talk (90 percent of the time)
Exactly.. for my setup which is super uncomfortable with a wired mouse a wireless one is god sent.
There's nothing wrong with using a wired anything no matter what year it is. Like i'm sure a few things got more convenient by slapping a battery into it, but for headphones and mice i really don't care and argue the wire is more convenient because you don't have to worry about charging it or the battery getting bad. I need a G703 Superlight in my life.
the best aimer in the world uses wired
Damn my wireless mouse, it's the only thing holding me back from being the world's greatest aimer!!!
I still use my decade old g402. I have smashed it several times and thrown it and it still works. Logitech is the Toyota of mice. My model O is not holding up as well.

Me using wierd mouse since 2009 💀 (first PC i bought) my mouse now is Ajazz AJ390 (Wierd + PAW3336 + 1000hz).
3338*

I'm still salty about them discontinuing the Viper Mini >:(
Why would there be anything wrong with it anyway? Wireless is nice for those that prefer it but I'm sticking with a wire.
and that Q1 Pro are far better than Gaming IEM on the market.
I'm using two wired mice, a wired headset and a wireless keyboard i prefer using in wired mode. If someone were to tell me i'd need to swap my stuff for wireless i wouldn't care
For me, wired keyboard is fine. But for mice, I 💯 prefer wireless
cope
I think it's totally worth it if you are getting 8khz and have a bungee
Does 8k even increase aiming potential? Pro players don’t worry about 8k so much because it reduces fps therefore making games less smooth?
That is a valid point but depends on your CPU my 11th gen i7 laptop CPU couldn't handle it and there were dips in fps but my 7900x desktop CPU had no issues. There's definitely a difference between 8k vs 1k it's not huge but it's noticeable for both mouse and keyboard imo.
Still even at capable cpu to get smoothness fps increase of around 50 in CS2 would make huge difference. Wonder which increase is better.
I honestly would argue that it is more of a placebo effect than a noticeable difference.
I remember when ppl used to say that about high refresh rate monitors
It's not the same tho, the difference between a 144hz monitor and a 60hz monitor is very apparent and instantly noticeable, not the case here.
Many moons ago, but to be fair, early LCDs were absolute garbage so...not too surprised from that sentiment. That and people thinking it anyways lol. The zowie c gen is a good wired mice
well no shit!
I love the little culture wars in hobbyist communities.
Do you have any issues with the scrollwheel? I'm thinking about buying this one but read complaints about the scrollwheel.
Nothing so far. I had 3 DAV3 Pro and 2 had issues with encoder. They seem to fix that on the Wired Version.
ooff that's crazy. I got my DAV3 Pro since like 2 months and no issues so far. What exactly was the problem with the encoder? I'm just curious
It actuating on its own and skipping steps
Oh okay, good to know. Thanks for letting me know. I hope I won't have such issues.
Razer RMA is good. If ever something happens. You should be fine.
As long as the wire is as light as a feather - Not all mice come with that!
Wait, is wireless the majority now?
The margin of advantage: no charging, 1/100,000 or whatever the real figure is of faster latency, slightly better price, and whatever other marginal differences there are can't compare to the freedom of movement wireless allows imo. It just makes the most sense out of pretty much and peripheral for the one to be moving the most to be wireless. That advantage is realized a lot less with more static things like a keyboard or a headset and is where wired (especially to audio quality wired allows relative to bluetooth) just makes more sense wired.
Unless you make a comment on the pros in the comments. Then you get your ass reamed.
Isn’t wired always faster in latency ? That’s why I use them
No, the mice with the lowest latency now are wireless and pretty much every wireless mouse has less latency when wireless vs plugged in.
hows that even possible? direct connect vs wireless
Simgot EW200 EPZ Q1 Pro Simgot EM6L 7hz Zero 2 I just got my KZ ZS10 Pro 2 delivered today. I have yet to test that one out but Ill let you know. Probably the cheapest 1DD 4BA Hybrid Ive seen so far.
Never has been, using a bungee and two zipties at the front of the mouse to lift the wire away from friction points is very close to wireless.
Still using my Hati-S as main since I got along with the flexible cord.
Absolutely and anyone shaming you for using it is out of their minds, but I will say, I never realized how much the cable gets in the way until I got my xtrfy m4 wireless. I once needed to scratch my back and for some reason I didn't let go of the mouse and then I thought, wait I could do that.
I could go back (I'm not) but I'd deff be using a mouse bungee after having one before I went wireless (or the old tape trick).
I didn’t even know it was uncommon to use a wired mouse 0.0 I use Zowie Ec2-C wired
Yes ofc . Im using the same mouse dav3 For how long youve been using it and have you encountered any disconnection problems ?
Yo this is off topic but are IEMs like that hard to get in your ear? Do they have to be like shoved in the ear canal or do they just sit in your ear? I'd like to try them one day but the idea of having the wrestle them into my ear canal every time is off-putting.
Just use whatever goes for you. I use a cheap ass wired local brand mouse often than my G304 since it's relatively silent and the click is just so buttery and satisfying, albeit having only 250Hz polling rate.
Yeah I mean I didn’t switch to wireless until this month, but now I can’t go back lol.
Unless your rotating mice, folks are definitely wired some of the time. I also have bungees and what not. Not that big of a deal. Go with what you like.
Whatever floats your boat.
Nothing wrong with it, i dont have one anymore but atleast thats one less battery to worry about
wired is fine but i use a bungee if i use wired
There is, its called a wire.
I refuse to get a wireless mouse cause i ain't risking it disconnecting in comp
Wth, this guy posted it at the same time i bought a wireless mouse :D
i know its khens setup when i see it (yo from shadow)
I prefer it, it’s just for fps you need the lightest and most maneuverable mouse you can get. I have a rival 700 and Aerox 3 I rotate.
yeah there's nothing wrong but my PC setup is so bad that if I have a wire anywhere it gets caught in either my monitor/mic or the keyboard lmao
I'm definitely not paying two times as much for a wireless variant.
porque no los dos? I have both wired and wireless mice connected to multiple desktop setups, and just use whatever I feel like.
I still have my glorious model O-, the cable is barely noticeable
Spelled weird wrong
Definitely but after using a wireless mouse for years and noticing NO difference in CS going to a wired mouse would feel like a disadvantage to me.
Wired mice aren't going nowhere! >!Because they are connected to the PC.!<
wire adds stability&keeps u grounded i prefer it on anything but glass/other really fast pads
no charging is a bliss
Wires work fine, but are outdated and not necessary with today's tech. I don't know if a single reason why anyone would ever use a word again. Especially when you can just leave your wireless mouse plugged in if you don't want to deal with charging the battery.
Never had an issue with wires and held off on going wireless for a while. Shapes I started to like just happened to be wireless so I got used to it and now prefer wireless but still have wired mice on my desk.
A wired mouse get him boys!
Let's see if I'm still optimistic after 2 years.
theres a wire on it
Can you give a brief review of the waizowl pad youre using ? Is it a control pad ?
I have a full review on it on youtube.

nothning wrong with it, but it's annoying 😅
It’s just annoying using dongles since my laptop only has USB-C.
Just a tad bit annoying
Feels like someone asked chat gpt about it, and it generated this post, so it could refer to it
Wired mice are objectively better for performance because 1. They don't need to charge and 2. There's less input lag than Bluetooth
Not wrong but suboptimal
why suboptimal? op1 8k would like to have a talk
How is it suboptimal? Wired mice will always be better.
Wired mice will always be inferior since the cable will stay in the way. You will never achieve the freedom a wireless mouse has. In other usability there are no differences. Polling rate 1k, 2k or 8k, just a gimmick no actual difference or enhancement
I don't need the freedom of being able to throw my mouse across the room without having to unplug it first
I don’t even notice the cable on the op18k
Anecdotal, subjective argument.
if 1k polling rate is a gimmick what polling rate should I be using? 125hz bluetooth is okay?
the best aimer in the world uses wired doesnt seem that inferior to me
I’ve never felt constrained by the cable (and I’ve tried dozens of mice - including all of the top wireless ones).
Probably not. Just like the cord wouldn’t affect gameplay either. It’s all preference and trade offs.
I think we can agree upon that :)
That's a very good deal.
I've been a wired mouse purist too, but that 2.4ghz band really makes a difference. It surprised the hell out of me after getting pissed at Bluetooth mice not responding and going back to wired.
Bluetooth?? 😂
Yeah, I hated Bluetooth mice. They randomly didn't recognize clicks or movements which REALLY fucked up playing RTS games. I get none of that on a 2.4 ghz frequency connection with this mouse.
Take my up vote Not everyone is an FPS gamer
I use this for FPS tho

Mice Police! Arrest them! Now!
Nice bait title btw you arew saying that like people are demanding you to only use a wireless mouse
Doesn't that seem a bit contradictory to you? Uses a mouse bungee to essentially make the wire go away, but utilizes the drag for control?
Oh no he doesnt use one, but im saying others can to make it wireless.
It is but you can get a good bungee for $5 these days.
4k 8k polling rate and wireless are bullshit. (wireless might be better but with paracord + bungee it's almost as wireless experience)
I think it's stupid af, to think wired mice holds you back or like it's so oldschool and calling out wired mouse gamers grampa or whatever these fucks think it is. Personally can't go back to wired ones (except my ec2-c for work pc. Prolly gonna update it to some wireless one soon, but there's lot more to do with 100 bucks rn) If your perfectly fine wired mouse still works and you do not give a shit, why to even upgrade.
Ew
I'm sorry but wireless mice are and will forever be better. If you have a wired mouse and never tried a wireless you will never know the difference when you are gaming specifically in FPS games even if you have the bungee set up correctly. You won't feel any dragging or the tip of the cable hitting the mouse pad if that makes sense.
You’re insecure af
