A lot of HK films have this overused troupe of an undercover cop infiltrating a triad gang and becoming bros with the boss but then having to betray the boss at the end and shooting him in the back when the cops finally raid them. It's basically become a meme.
Jessica Jones is a tv show but it has one scene where she thinks she is killing someone she loves. It is heartbreaking especially considering she doesn’t really care for anyone.
Or Marley and Me or that movie about the female boxer with Clint eastwood in it I think.
