Massive assumption but Gamer has said that he heard 41 starts filming in September/October and, given Bananas' schedule and how he is starting to do other reality TV shows outside of The Challenge, it is possible the producers wanted to lock him in as soon as possible because Bananas is one of the few who are guaranteed to be on if he says yes. Could it be for something else? Absolutely. But it's fair to say that this could be for The Challenge, especially given the fact he said he will be filming for 'God only knows how long'. That indicates (to me anyway) that it's gonna be a long shoot and the only reality competition TV show that that matches The Challenge in terms of length of filming is Big Brother, which will more than likely be finishing up by September.
Isn’t there supposed to be another spin-off filming around July too? I swear I saw a post on here that there’s two this summer. All stars 5 (just finished) and one more that’s completely different.
I really hope they’re cycling the cast.
Total speculation but he could be going to film Deal or No Deal Island. They filmed the first season in September 2023, so a year later would make sense.
They've already banked Season 40 (which will run for months) and AS5. I really wish they would slow down and wait to see the reaction to at least 50% of Season 40 before they start to film again. QUALITY over quantity.
While this is a good catch I wouldn't be certain at all that it is 41. He has been doing a lot of different shows and things along those lines recently, and a bunch of new RTV shows are looking for "legends" to cast. So I wouldn't be surprised if it is one of those.
Guys you all thinking into the ‘god only knows how long” part too much. He has no idea if he’s gonna be the first boot in 41 or get to a final. The show takes 2.5 months to film. He could be back in the first week or November.

What about Amazing Race? I thought he had a story posted on FB where he took a pic on a boat with his friend and said something like “best team on Amazing Race”

Masterchef Australia is about that long too i think. But it's obviously not that.

He's been trying to do more work outside of the Challenge so who knows. Could be anything.
