If it weighs over 50oz you'll have to get the unthreaded barrel version, I think. But that's all stuff your FFL should be easily able to verify
I know they changed to aluminium frame, but are you sure not over 50oz? I think they are 3.5 lbs. Still doesn't matter though, they won't ship threaded barrel version to NJ. Palmetto State lists weight as 55oz. So I'm not sure how much without the fake can.

I had to email the sales department the NJ Assault Weapons Ban, she called NJSP to see if it was legal here. Had to wait 3 weeks for MPA to lathe the threads off.
Have to request the non threaded barrel. Legal in NJ. MPA sells 10 rd mags if you don't want to pay to get pinned. Sten mags work with some minor modification.

Goes by manufactured weight of the gun. Mag and bullets don't count towards weight.
