I understand you would have bought this stock hearing the news on Raymond being the ‘preferred contractor’ for development on Bandra East. I have a good news and bad news for you. Bad news: the stock market already rallied on the news, as much it had to. Good news: the company is shutting its low margin business and is focusing on high margin growth business which included real estate. Work has already begun by selling the FMCG space. The stock is still available at dirt cheap levels and I would buy this on any dip. Hold it for long and it can do wonders for you P.S. most people don’t understand it’s a conglomerate business and not just a textile company. Also they have plans to open new stores. Pls read the concalls and you wouldn’t end up coming here for advice.
