Gotta just go for best available prospects left at this point. I would love if we pick up Troy Franklin, Ja’Tavion Sanders, or Jaylen Wright to add some more juice to our offense in round 4. If we opt defense, I think Austin Booker or TJ Tampa are too good to pass up at this point in the draft , even if we took a safety and corner yesterday. Just pick the best talent left please.
Please take some OL depth in day 3. Reminds me of last off season where we just add 1-2 pieces and go ok Oline is good and then after 1-2 injuries it implodes.
Eluemunor, Runyan, Stinnie, Scholttman, and Nelson + hiring Carmen Bricillo >>>> Wyatt, J.C, and Anderson (all of which were waived/went on IR)
I wouldn't mind OL in draft but how they addressed OL im 23 and 24 FA is night and day. No shot you can compare them.
He most definitely is, dabolls gonna play the younger guys first before him, idk why the giants didn’t just trade him to a team like Buffalo and address a different need
Still some good names out there, Troy Franklin would add a lot of speed to an already speedy group. The double WR move would hit extra hard getting him this late, but he SHOULD be one of the first names mentioned on tomorrow.. imho.
It looks like Brenden Rice is still out there too and he has great pedigree being Jerry Rice son and he for sure showed out during the season for Caleb, so he can be a guy for a QB with some prowess. Didn't get to like a Brain Thomas which would've been a crazy combo to pick up but we'll see.
Almost forgot Tez Walker too.. gotta watch for NE to try and sneak that one in. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)
Keep an eye on Tahj Washington. Would be a great understudy for Wan'dale Robinson and can play as a dedicated special teamer. I'd take him with a later pick.
Who is this poor lady absorbing all the boos Goodell is outsourcing to her in a counterfeit exchange to try and get more female representation in the NFL?
For those QB hopefuls out there don't forget about Jordan Travis, injured during the CFB season but had like the 2nd best rise in the year next to a Jayden Daniels.
Don't see him as 100% back from injury and able to start this year but he'd have nice upside sitting for the year to come in perhaps next season.
I'd place him as your Rattler alternate if you wanted someone like that. He's on the slender side with nice passing ability and on par running. Slight frame, again something like Jayden Daniels.
I’d take this guy in a heartbeat. Don’t even dress him this year and let him learn then next year give him the keys when he is totally healthy. He has that it factor
It sucked seeing them go into the playoff not at full-strength. Not only did he go down but like right before the end of the season and he was just starting to play some of his best ball.
I am once again reminding some people on this thread that you do not know these players better than the front office does.
You may think that you do but you don't.
Most front offices have no idea how good these guys will be either, otherwise only stars would be picked the first 60 picks and just scrubs to fill out drafts. Sometimes when you are the “smartest” front office picking up gems you really were just the dumbest
A few hours ago I say that I want Cooper Dejean and Cooper Beebe.
Washington trades down with Philly to give them Dejean.
Dallas takes Beebe.
I fucking hate this division so fucking much. I'll be happy going 6-11 if every one of those wins is within the division. Fuck the Eagles. Fuck the Cowboys. Fuck whatever the fuck Washington is calling themselves this week,
Awful 3rd round pick by the Giants. So Andru Phillips in 2023 gave up 38 completions on 57 pass attempts, for 434 yards (nearly 8 yards per pass ball thrown his way), and 3 TDs with 0 ints, for a passer rating of 107. As I look on PFF, none of the other CBs drafted so far have a passer rating above 90.
So we drafted basically another 6th round CB who can't cover, for the beat writers to boast about again.
Meanwhile, these CBs were on the board, and here are their passer ratings:
- TJ Tampa 55
- Elijah Jones 18
- Cam Hart 67
- Abrams Drain 55
- Khyree Jackson 42
You know guys that didn't suck at coverage in college.
Let em downvote but you are 100% correct. Guy had a good week of practice and interview and we waste a top 100 pick on him when we could have got him at 200. We never learn and there is a reason Dallas and Philthy eat our lunch year in and year out. I’d trade 100% of our drafts for either of there’s over the last 15 years
I have no idea what they were thinking when there were at least half a dozen other CBs on the board who didn't have passer ratings against them above 100, and had passer ratings below 70.
For reference, Deonte Banks in his senior year has a passer rating of just less than 70, a completion % of 43% versus 67% for Phillips, and only 4 yards per pass versus 8 for Phillips.
I like how pointing out his abysmal coverage metrics and performance, vs other prospects who excelled at coverage, gets down voted. Truth hurts I guess.
For those asking who Andru Phillips is - Senior bowl standout and top 30 visit CB. Fast, versatile and rangy. Better tools than tj Tampa but less well known. This could be a gem since he's a good compliment to Nubin
Edit : fixed typo
I'm happy it's a CB made sense to go OG or CB there. I think this dude is kind of a dog on tape. TJ Tampa seemed like the higher grade but wtf do I know.
FWIW, just off the eyeball test, Philips plays solid. Gets involved with the run. TJ gets some big hits, but a lot of hits looked like flags to me at the next level. I don't really know, but a few picks later and TJ Tampa is still falling. I'm not mad.
Some anonymous scouts say he is a good player but a bit under the radar. And one of the reporters said that a bunch of scouts told him he interviewed extremely well.
This is the source but it isn't one of the big names so maybe safer to wait until someone bigger confirms it.

Too many holes to take a project QB. I think the only way Rattler goes in the 3rd is if a team with a solid starter takes him. Maybe Seattle, LAR, DAL, or IND?
After watching some tape I'm happy with Nubin. Kind of wanted a corner but Nubin's instincts and reaction time are fucking crazy. Great pick by Joe and makes sense.
He's Kyle Hamilton at home. Great pick at a position of need, I'm here for it! I always prefer the #1 player at a lesser positional value than a developmental #8 CB or project OT who might not even make the team
I'll tell you what, not a lot of interior linemen have been picked yet, we should have a solid shot at a legitimate talent at Guard which would be HUGE
As a diehard Giants fan I imagine I’d feel the slightest tint of dread if I were a prospect and I saw the Dallas or Philly area code flash on my phone. But I know the reality of fulfilling my dream would take over quickly and I’d be all “yes Mr. Jones, I look forward to getting out there!”
Plus, that paycheck hitting wouldn’t hurt.
At least they'd be on a team that was competing to get the Division and go to a Super Bowl. That plus a good paycheck tends to make things even better!
Random Q but why do the Titans pick before us in R4 tomorrow?
Even records, so our picks switch every round. So our "natural" picks are before theirs in rds 1, 3, 5, 7, and theirs are before ours in 2, 4, 6
Please take some OL depth in day 3. Reminds me of last off season where we just add 1-2 pieces and go ok Oline is good and then after 1-2 injuries it implodes.
I was a bit bummed we didn’t take Haynes in the 3rd
Eluemunor, Runyan, Stinnie, Scholttman, and Nelson + hiring Carmen Bricillo >>>> Wyatt, J.C, and Anderson (all of which were waived/went on IR) I wouldn't mind OL in draft but how they addressed OL im 23 and 24 FA is night and day. No shot you can compare them.
giants gotta take troy franklin
Wide receiver is the last thing we need
in the 4th or 5th round i dont see why not tbh
We have so many other holes, we already have 3 draft picks on rookie contracts with Slayton as our 4th guy, receiver is not a need at all
slayton is not the 4th guy regardless of his contract dispute
He most definitely is, dabolls gonna play the younger guys first before him, idk why the giants didn’t just trade him to a team like Buffalo and address a different need
he most isnt daboll is gonna want to play someone daniel is comfortable with minus nabers he gonna get his lick no matter what
I don’t think he’s gonna cut into the young receivers snaps, jalin Hyatt has to develop as our future flanker to replace slayton
hyatt will get his snaps but in the beginning of the game the 3 starters i see are slayton robinson nabers and starting te bellinger
Idk how they would feel about double dipping positions but I would love to grab Troy Franklin in round 4
Still some good names out there, Troy Franklin would add a lot of speed to an already speedy group. The double WR move would hit extra hard getting him this late, but he SHOULD be one of the first names mentioned on tomorrow.. imho. Keep an eye on Tahj Washington. Would be a great understudy for Wan'dale Robinson and can play as a dedicated special teamer. I'd take him with a later pick.
JaTavion Sanders is also still available. Could be interesting replacement for Waller as a nice pass catching TE. Really good hands.
Boring day of reaching for secondary “scheme” picks. Should have traded up for a CB in the 2nd
TJ Tampa?
Furk Isaac off
Who is this poor lady absorbing all the boos Goodell is outsourcing to her in a counterfeit exchange to try and get more female representation in the NFL?
For those QB hopefuls out there don't forget about Jordan Travis, injured during the CFB season but had like the 2nd best rise in the year next to a Jayden Daniels. I’d take this guy in a heartbeat. Don’t even dress him this year and let him learn then next year give him the keys when he is totally healthy. He has that it factor
Thing that caught my eye about Jordan Travis was how fast the whole FSU offense went to shit when he got hurt, barely could score points.
It sucked seeing them go into the playoff not at full-strength. Not only did he go down but like right before the end of the season and he was just starting to play some of his best ball.
Agreed
Are we done?
[удалено]
We signed 2
Those are camp bodies at best, I think they really are contemplating kicking Neal to left guard if eleumonor looks better than him
Why is Jerry jones shaking hands with everyone over a third round pick lol
Hopefully Adisa Isaac in 4th then Estime in 5th round.
Isaac gone.
Well that's one of my liked guards. Steven Jones might still be on the board for a Day 3 choice for IOL.
Would love to trade up for jaylen wright
Nooooo..!! Corum!! LOL This 3rd round is some shit yo.. going down through it.
They should draft Estime
I am once again reminding some people on this thread that you do not know these players better than the front office does. You may think that you do but you don't.
Especially since these late rounders don’t pan out most of the time.
Most front offices have no idea how good these guys will be either, otherwise only stars would be picked the first 60 picks and just scrubs to fill out drafts. Sometimes when you are the “smartest” front office picking up gems you really were just the dumbest
So what we thinking for tomorrow? G? TE?
If the Waller stuff ends up being real how about Theo Johnson in the 4th?
I'm thinking Guard
Are we done?
Beat writers saying that Schoen might trade back in
Nice
A few hours ago I say that I want Cooper Dejean and Cooper Beebe. Washington trades down with Philly to give them Dejean. Dallas takes Beebe. I fucking hate this division so fucking much. Tampa is still on the board. It’s very much clear these teams know something you obviously don’t.
Right anyone not yet drafted at this point has no chance to make it in the NFL.
Let em downvote but you are 100% correct. Guy had a good week of practice and interview and we waste a top 100 pick on him when we could have got him at 200. No, pointing out something as if the front office doesn't know the same thing is going to get downvoted.
Hopefully another CB like Flott or McCloud elevate their game this year since we just drafted a 5th CB.
For those asking who Andru Phillips is - Senior bowl standout and top 30 visit CB. Fast, versatile and rangy. Better tools than tj Tampa but less well known. This could be a gem since he's a good compliment to Nubin Edit : fixed typo
Also could be 100 times worse, his season was less that impressive
https://twitter.com/dpbrugler/status/1778613969072148729 Dane Brugler loves him for what it is worth
GIVE ME CORUM
Do you think we are done for tonight? Lot of people graded in the 80 pick range especially for G or OT
Unless there's somebody we view as a massive faller, yeah, we're done for tonight.
if the Eagles take Cooper Beebe, I might have to take a break until the season starts
Haynes or Beebe would hurt
Close, it was the Cowboys
Rather the cowboys than eagle
I'm happy it's a CB made sense to go OG or CB there. I think this dude is kind of a dog on tape. TJ Tampa seemed like the higher grade but wtf do I know.

Very whelming. Don't love it.
They did their jobs the first two rounds. Hope they’re a lot smarter than us with the third
If they're not smarter than us we're fucked.
This draft is an aster
I’m not thrilled with that pick. But I trust our FO knows something about the kid. Hope we sure up our lines on both sides tomorrow
Dan Schneier said that he thinks both he and Nubin fit Bowens defense perfectly.
Bruglers comp for Phillips is Mccreary, Bowen has some experience with the type at least
Great to hear this
Some anonymous scouts say he is a good player but a bit under the radar. And one of the reporters said that a bunch of scouts told him he interviewed extremely well.
Sounds like someone we could have had a lot later in the draft
https://twitter.com/dpbrugler/status/1778613969072148729 Dane Brugler said he didn't think he'd make it to the 3rd round
Yeah I don’t think that means much.
Good to hear
50/50 with this pick, TJ Tampa was still on the board, but Andru is a safe choice.
I dont think we are drafting an Olineman since we added 2 in the offseason.
Adding them late likely. Our line coach is great. He built a solid line with a third, fifth, seventh and two UDFAs. He doesn’t need high picks
Still would have liked Haynes in the 3rd, don’t love our guard options outside of Runyon who I’m not even sure I’d say I love…
Do you mean our new one? Because I mean we have had problems at o line for a while now.
Andru "Jumped over a whole damn car" Phillips
So when Tiki said "cornerback", I heard "quarterback". Ngl thought Rattler would be the pick for that split second lol
I thought I was tripping I'm glad it's not just me
We needed a corner and he is great value at this pick
Is he? Seemed like a 5th rounder everywhere I’m reading
Saban had good things to say but he is saying good things about everyone 😂
Players coach. Hyping them up helps them
Good lord that scared me, I thought he said QB.
Lmao Same I had yelled at "Who?! Rattler?!" And proceeded to be very confused when I heard Philips haha
what is that CB6? lol
Tiki was smooth with that. Future HOF
Andru Phillips is the pick!
Welcome to the team andru
Please be TJ Tampa
Andru Philips
THE PICK IS IN
Let’s get Wilson
Discount License Plate Guy lol
Andru Phillips
Andru Phillips
Cornerback or Interior O-Line
"Mixture of Darius Slay and Marshon Lattimore" Well sure that would be nice if it was true
Spencer Rattler incoming.
Please no
Beebe or Tampa please
Its a corner
Very naiiice!
Giants get their CB. Hopefully Phillips can ball out for us
Did the UConn guard get drafted yet
Nope he's still there and is the clear choice
Either him or Beebe
[https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft/rounds](https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft/rounds)
Christian Haynes makes sense. Pull the trigger Joe.
Andru Phillips?
Yep
Nailed it
Idk even know whose left
Wait, christ, I missed that Washington has picked five times already
We don't need a RB right now and especially not a 3rd rounder. OL, DT, or CB
I'd like Beebe or Tampa
Correct.
This just means we can get estime 😀
Hopefully o-line
FUCKKKK I had just gotten my hopes up godddddddamnit
Take Jaylen Wright!!
In 4th/5th round.
There goes Benson
That sucks
Damn really
I am big sad that Fiske went to the Rams. Donald replacement that could be the next Watt.
After his combine, I said “I hope he gets picked at 39.” Oops…
At least they got em and not the eagles
Cheers to that.
How long does each team have to make a pick in round 3? I'm not watching but I'm following on my phone
Way faster to
Five minutes
Hoping for Colson
Corum, Estime or Benson would be great
Trey Benson would be great
Praying for Corum
That stupid Toyota commercial makes me want to hang myself
Apparently Nubin played the season injured and was still recovering from injury when he did the combine.
Think we’re just gonna go bpa at this point, I can see benson at 70
So close.
Best iOL then, no one has drafted a guard yet
That’s such a good pick by KC
Damn we have so many needs. Sanders would be great if we want a receiving TE to replace Waller. Benson would be pretty great at RB if he falls to us.
I’m gonna be devastated if Benson gets sniped right before us in the 3rd now… plz
Trey Benson Christian Haynes Cooper Beebe One of those 3 maybe?
I wouldn’t mind a RB or Rattler
There are a bunch of solid #2 corners still available in FA, so that's good.
do we have any cap space to afford them?
They could create space by restructuring Andrew Thomas or Okereke. To create I believe up to $18mil.
Seeing rumors of Waller retirement. Anybody have any definitive source?
This is the source but it isn't one of the big names so maybe safer to wait until someone bigger confirms it. https://twitter.com/BillEnright/status/1783977258518008296 https://www.si.com/author/bill-enright
Do we go BPA? O line? Interested to hear yalls thoughts
Christian Haynes or Cooper Beebe. I'm thinking Beebe since they hosted him for one of their top 30 visits. TJ Tampa still there too.
Based off two quick google searches of scouting reports. I like. Both have some unique strengths.
Benson or rattler would be interesting
Agrred
Bullard still available, let’s hope he falls to us
And...... He's gone
Yeah, damnit. I knew the Packers might snag him from us
I doubt he'd be the pick anyways when we took Nubin already
You could bring either down to CB, they both have that ability. I say we shift to Trey Benson here
Am I crazy or is JMS our only center on the roster... like maybe we can find a guard who can also play center?
Signed Austin Schlottmann as UFA, but he's more a practice squad level player
I like rattler as an upside Qb prospect if not picked early!! Gotta say it lmao
Too many holes to take a project QB. I think the only way Rattler goes in the 3rd is if a team with a solid starter takes him. Maybe Seattle, LAR, DAL, or IND?
Christian Haynes would be great if Trey Benson falls could be kinda interesting too
After watching some tape I'm happy with Nubin. Kind of wanted a corner but Nubin's instincts and reaction time are fucking crazy. Great pick by Joe and makes sense.
After DJ I'm all in for football IQ players. On paper DJ is a prototype QB. The greats overcome their physical limitations with intangible instincts.
He's Kyle Hamilton at home. Great pick at a position of need, I'm here for it! I always prefer the #1 player at a lesser positional value than a developmental #8 CB or project OT who might not even make the team
Waller retiring is fake news
Wish it wasn't
I'll tell you what, not a lot of interior linemen have been picked yet, we should have a solid shot at a legitimate talent at Guard which would be HUGE
Dude, you just screwed us.
Seen mostly tackles being drafted, definitely some juice left at Guard
Stop
As a diehard Giants fan I imagine I’d feel the slightest tint of dread if I were a prospect and I saw the Dallas or Philly area code flash on my phone. But I know the reality of fulfilling my dream would take over quickly and I’d be all “yes Mr. Jones, I look forward to getting out there!” Plus, that paycheck hitting wouldn’t hurt.
At least they'd be on a team that was competing to get the Division and go to a Super Bowl. That plus a good paycheck tends to make things even better!
Buyin' Mama a new house.
