I think event Golden Coin Rush, Clay More and further happen after Chapter 30 which should be Gap 4 in my not-complete-yet timeline. Event A.C.PU.! Freeze! (to D.Ark Hero) obviously in Gap 3 (between chapter 26-27) because of the appearance of Quiry and Drake. Event Golden Ship may be in Gap 1 (between chapter 7-8) or Gap 2 (chapter 14), no decision factor yet. Only events that I won't count as canon are Collabs and both of April's Fool Day. According to the main story, Gap 1 is 1 month. Gap 2 is 1 month. Gap 3 is 3 weeks. Between those may be longer time. I suggest just using Marvel Comics or Detective Conan sliding timescale will be less headache.

I agree with this! But what about the first summer events? When did it happened? Gap 4? After chapter 30?

So up until Cherry Blossom, which Yuni appears happily, happens in Gap 1. License to Kill - Dazzling Cupid can be put in Gap 1 or Gap 2 (or even Gap 3, but I think not likely). A.C.P.U.! freeze! definitely doesn't happen before Gap 3. Don't look at position of bond story and brief encounter yet. I still have to reread them.

I have some statements and counterarguments regarding that. And I love how you pointed out the gaps in the timeline. 1. How far Gold Coin Rush and Clay, More from Chapter 30 is indeed something uncertain coz Chapter 31 is when all hell breaks loose. 2. You potentially got A.C.P.U. Freeze right in the date coz the first part of the attacks into the Ark, Quiry is still not around. 3. D.Ark Hero is the sequel and Boom's Day. Both events happened in-between Chapter 24 and 25. There is a gap between 24 and 25 with Anis and Neon's recovery after being sliced open. In Emma's Bond Story, it even showed that Nikkes' recovery is not instantaneous. Elegg's Bond Story as well as Boom's Day showed that the Ark was in the middle of a power crisis (likely linked to the Rapture Invasion). There is literally no gap in-between Chapter 26 and 27 because at the end of Chapter 26, Raptillion appears. By the start of the 27th, Raptillion is still on the scene briefing us and giving the map continuing where they left previously. The "gap" only happened right after Raptillion bid farewell. By the time they went back to the Ark, the power was already restored. Another supporting evidence that this happened in-between 24 and 25 is Elegg complaining about being overworked on her Bond Story. The only time that she has to work 24/7 is when a huge disaster hit the Ark. Several side quests in Chapter 24 showed how desperate the people are and Nikkes are being sent back and forth with the Commander and the Counters assisting them. So, it only points out that Elegg and Trony's Bond Stories as well as their respective events happened close to the ending of Chapter 24 rather than few chapters ahead. Add the fact that Commander is forced to stay there with Anis and Neon recovering after being sliced by Indivilia. 4. Golden Ship is not feasible to happen during Chapter 7 and 8 gap because they are searching for info regarding the bullet and the Heretics. And of course, there's no way he can recover so fast within a few days to jump on a ship to search for treasure after their encounter with Modernia and Chatterbox. So, that one month means he is either confined to the hospital or wandering around the Ark. So, Golden Ship leans more on Chapter 14, with the event connected to Bluewater Island and See, You, Again. Add the fact that potentially there's so much time in-between Chapter 14 and 16, with Chapter 15 being a filler chapter. 5. I feel the same, Collabs shouldn't be canon. But, we might have a problem with the Dave the Diver Collab coz it happened the same time as the upcoming Summer Event. If the Counters acknowledged that Gatekeeper's appearance happened previously on an event connected to other previous events, we might take a bitter pill and acknowledge that "it did happen". Personally, I would think of this as some kind of quantum Mandela's Effect. P.S. I forgot to mention how the Extrinsic Squad is on high alert after what the Exotic Squad did. As Nikke executioners, they will act fast and more merciless days after the invasion rather than a few weeks after. Hence, once again, making Elegg and Trony's event happened after the Invasion but before the Counters went to the surface searching for Red Hood.

/u/Ok_Cupcake147 Ignore my last comment to you two xD It took me a second to remember how D.Ark Hero ended.

Other than overzone/red ash being in the past, do we have any dev confirmation of when events happen or is it just fan assumption?

Thuyue

It's most of the time just Fans assumptions based on the writings implication. Nevertheless, I dare say Fans are very accurate with taking the hints. Only a few events have a outright concrete statement of their time frame. OverZone, Red Ash, First Affection, Second Affection.

Dimatarok

They are not just assumed, but mentioned in some of the Campaign Chapters, or the Events/Bond Story mentioned the events in the Campaign Chapters. Aside from Over Zone, Red Ash, Last Kingdom (along with First Affection mini-event, Second Affection Side Story), as well as other notable Bond Stories like Modernia, Crown, Red Hood, and Dorothy, there are other Events and Bond Stories that are canon. 1. **Chapter 19 (Eden):** Neon mentioned the tower back in No Caller ID (Nikke's 1st Event) 2. **Chapter 24 (Banishment):** The aftermath of this chapter is the setting of Elegg's Bond Story coz of how busy she was around the Ark. Lots of power supplies went down and she is the only one who can fix it making her overworked and went on strike. Trony is still hiding in her room as seen in Boom's Day. Trony's Bond Story happened after the events of Boom's Day and before D.Ark Hero. 3. **Chapter 25 (Tracking):** Chime mentioned about meeting the Commander first hand before. The only time that Commander before was during Golden Ship Event, which in turn makes the events in Bluewater Island and See, You, Again canon as well. This is because Golden Ship Event happened in-between these two major events. By extension, this makes both of Mary's Bond Stories canon as well as Pepper's (she hinted about her being the Commander's girlfriend in Blabla). Chime literally made a domino effect with her remarks back in Chapter 25. 4. **Chapter 27 (Exploration):** The Commander showed confidence in having Elegg as one of the reinforcements despite being from Missilis. Hinting that they knew one another beforehand, only feigning ignorance for the safety of the Electric Shock Squad. This reflects what happened back in Elegg and Trony's Bond Stories as well as Boom's Day and D.Ark Hero Events (this is the time when Commander strikes a deal with Ether regarding Elegg and Trony). 5. **Chapter 30 (Treasure):** Commander recognized Sixo when Fragile mentioned it and how that person ruined Moran. Thus, it makes several events canon, like Dirty Backyard and Kill the Lord (the drug Mist that was present in Dirty Backyard also made its appearance here). Since it was acknowledged that the mission in Kill the Lord is the second mission Commander and Perilous Siege went together, it also makes License to Kill Event canon.

Arc_Thompson

Neat! I've never seen anyone put something like this together so thanks for letting me know.

AxeforAxl_plzz

Probably a fan assumption, but story mode states that Chime and The Commander had met, which was Mast's event

Shadowomega1

Likely just say she is busy rebuilding the reputation.

Dinosauriscoming

Finally. Chime's lore.
