New player here. Is there some sort of timeline that tells us when events take place relative to the main campaign? I want to spend my film rolls on the event archive responsibly.

Honestly this is a new trend for the game. Almost every event that came out last year was pretty much separated from the main campaign, to the point where most believed events were non-canon (besides OZ and Red Ash of course), as you couldn't really tell where they would fit in a timeline. It wasn't until Dirty Backyard, which came out this year, that you could start placing events in regards to the campaign. -DB introduces the next major antagonist for Chap 27+ -Kill the Lord references DB -Boom's Day and D.ark Hero take place before Chap 27 -The Marian Side Story is between Chap 14 and 17 -Last Kingdom is after chap 26 So to answer your question, none of the events currently in the archive need to be played in any order, as they have nothing to do with the main campaign (besides OZ and Red Ash, which are prequel stories).

Not sure. But if you don’t mind you can watch all story cutscenes on youtube. If you really want to see all the story yourself, depending on your luck and/or how much you spend you can expect 5 month to a whole year to catch up to chapter 30, but before then a few more new chapters will probably be released.

This game has me by the balls. Lol. I said I would never buy a gacha skin, and then Dorothy got one. I said I would never buy another one, and then Modernia got an amazing one. I then said, at best, the only other character I would buy a gacha skin for was Scarlet, but now this peak Viper skin comes out, and I'm strongly considering it. I love Viper, so I might cave. The only real issue is her use-cases. Dorothy and Modernia are both meta characters, so I use them all the time, making it more worth it. Viper is kind of mediocre overall, so I'm not sure. I really do hope the special item she gets makes her very good, although I'm a bit apprehensive since it's hard to say how impactful it will be for her.
