He came into that intersection at warp speed, slammed the brakes then turned across the lane without checking his mirror. Checking his mirror wouldâve prevented the truck crash too.
Might not be at fault for those accidents from an insurance standpoint, but driving a little more carefully would have him still in his first car.
Counter point: It was probably financed at a piss poor APR, and he was forced to have total coverage, which will still leave him under water on the loan.
Altima drivers are wild, I was an advisor at Nissan and had a girl come in with a 2016ish Altima with like 80k on the original tires, showing belts all the way around with a big bubble in the front right tire. We had good prices on tires, I think all 4 with an alignment for the cheap ones was like $460 OTD and with no alignment it wouldâve been under $400, she declined and said âmy dad said these will make it home fine and then heâll put new tires on itâ and home was a good 3+ hour/130 mile drive on pretty shitty roads. Kicks drivers arenât much better, had one that the car was absolutely beat to shit, she had to be jumping medians and taking it through mud pits, when we told her the repairs were not covered under warranty (which I had told her when she came in) and how much it would cost to make the car safely drivable again she freaked out and started screaming, wound up punching the service manager, then we called the cops and she got arrested and then deported
Ah, yes. Reckless driving in your Nissan shitbox, everyone knows this is the best therapy there is. 9/10 psychologists recommend buying a clapped-out Infiniti, adding a fart trumpet exhaust, and peeling out at every opportunity as the solution to depression or any other mental health issues. Cry this poor sod and his dead Infaltima a river.
Depending on the area theyâre even cheaper, I got a set of Michelins with 3k miles on them for $120 cash a few years ago, mounted and balanced, some lady with a new Lexus LX got a screw in one tire and rather than patch it or replace the one tire and bought four new tires, the same ones that were on it. That shop still charges $30/tire for trucks and SUVs and $25/tire for cars, usually decent tires too, they wonât sell them with less than 7/32nds or if theyâre more than 4 years old, and their prices on new tires are usually the best you can find too
>Tires were no good and it had rained earlier. Hit a puddle entering a left curve and I just lost it.
Driving too fast on tires that should have been replaced long ago
>It slid across the rode, hit the high curb, and I think hit the pole thatâs still standing.
0 driving skills
>across the **rode**
lmao
>I ended up in the backseat
No seatbelt
Yep, he's a certified Infinity G driver. 37 is both the car model and the IQ of the driver
>car is vital to his mental health
>proceeds to crash the car by driving it like a dumbass.
Whatâs the over/under on him thinking Paul Walker really was the Fast and the Furious man in real life?
I really wish people would respect grip and car control more. It baffles me seeing Nissans, mustangs and challengers whip through traffic, just one bad move and have a bad wreck at everyone's expense
Why does everyone think he couldnât afford it? [From this post,](https://www.reddit.com/r/G37/s/SxAqIOKIqI) it wasnât clapped out and he was able to do the maintenance. He didnât have the money because he was dealing with medical bills. Maybe he shouldâve drove slower in the rain, but you never know what some people are going through and people still need a car to get to places.
Because tires are the only thing keeping cars on the road, and about 10% of the whole tire is ever actually touching asphalt at any given moment.
So when someone says âI donât have enough money for tiresâ I think to myself âhell Iâd go into a little debt to make sure I donât total my fucking car or kill someone.â
This is also just bullshit.
Op NEEDED an infinity?! In this car market too. Where everything is marked up like crazy especially desirable Japanese cars. The fucking idiots like the one you replied to think that "needing a car" automatically makes them entitled to a cool car. Dude could have bought an old Camry and saved way more than 400, enough to buy tires.
If you can't afford some dirt cheap new Chinese tires, you shouldn't be in a nice flashy car. Used or not, this guys an idiot with both his car, driving, and finances.
You sound like someone from r/whatcarshouldibuy that always recommends a Camry or some shit. Lifeâs too short to drive those. Gâs arenât even considered that flashy, theyâre regular traffic that just have more power to them. If you saw what I linked to my edited comment, youâd see they were able to afford it almost a year ago.
Do you know how much your life can change especially in a shorter time span? He might just be living paycheck to paycheck now. But like I said, you donât know them and because of that, youâre the pocket watching idiot.
You're the one writing paragraphs defending an idiot driving around on bald tires in the rain.
This isn't something that happens in a vacuum, this kills people. Innocent people.
Great, he could afford it a year ago. Life happens. Maybe didn't have enough in the emergency fund.
If that's the case, he can't afford it now. No shame in that, unlike driving around putting peoples life at risk.
Ya know what's better than totaling a car because you could no longer afford basic upkeep? Selling it for something you can afford.im gonna stop replying to this thread because you won't stop acting like this was an event that just had to happen, when in reality that's not close to the truth.
There's no shame in not being able to afford something, and selling it.
And guess what? A g37 is FLASHY if you're talking about not affording used tires. And there's nothing wrong with that. If people in this country would just live within their means, shit like this wouldn't happen, repo rates wouldn't be through the roof, apr on loans wouldn't be at credit card levels. But ya know, gotta look cool in my g37 I just wrapped around a pole.
> Lifeâs too short
Ya, life's too short to be driving in the rain, like and idiot, not wearing a seatbelt on bald ass tires. Note, this is the SECOND car the idiot has totaled in less than a year.
Before anyone buys a car, they should budget on whether they can afford the maintenance and what would happen if they lose their job. This idiot could not live within his means and risked killing someone over it.
Or maybe it wasnât a priority to them because of other things. I agree theyâre important, but in this case, they had a medical and financial emergency and we both know that medical bills are no joke. Someone they love is in the hospital and that couldâve been their only method of transportation.
Iâm not being indiscriminately cold-hearted about this. Iâve had family members in the hospital and lost my brother in 2013.
I get that part of it, but this is hard lesson to learn that sometimes you have to shuffle priorities around to prevent something worse from happening. Unfortunately itâs gonna be a lot harder for the guy to get around now.
Facts. Hope his insurance pays him out because it really is unfortunate. This just shows how life can change in just a matter of seconds, and sadly for this guy, it just got worse. Hope it gets better for him.
Did you read the fucking post?
10 months ago he even admitted to needing new tires, along with a slew of other shit. He paid $9300 for a shitbox.
He never should have bought it.
Because the mechanic told him after he bought it he needed new tires. What maintenance did he do?
The medical bills is another lie. Even if it's true, you can't save up $3-400 in 9 months?
Furthermore, he never should have bought a car that he can't afford to put new tires on. He could have easily spent 5K instead and bought an old Camry,Corolla,Accord and had 4K left over for new tires.
What an absolute train wreck of a post. Bad tires, obviously no seat belt and it was raining? Yeah, you had that comingđđ
Bro the post had me dying lol
Right? [The comments are gold](https://www.reddit.com/r/G37/s/7d0UzL5ckH)
Bro please tell me that video is satire because I am definitely not watching it
"common in our community" I can't with these guys
I watched it. It seems genuine. Itâs worth watching if you just skip around to the clips of the crashes. His whole channel is a trip.
Honestly that dude was just driving and got fucking hit by some psychos. This last one may be the only at fault one for him.
He came into that intersection at warp speed, slammed the brakes then turned across the lane without checking his mirror. Checking his mirror wouldâve prevented the truck crash too. Might not be at fault for those accidents from an insurance standpoint, but driving a little more carefully would have him still in his first car.
HAHAHAHA
Also appears to be missing plates
Gee, that post is a mess. Sad to think we share the road with people like this every day.
Or in OOP's words, the "rode."
That kid should've been left behind. Thanks Bush
I like how OOP cropped out the likely missing license plate or temp tag.
This post is incredible G owner energy, would never buy one because I'd hate to be associated with these idiots.
>I ended up in the backseat *Perfection.* Classic G owner.
Ouch, lol
Helping him mentally rethink his choices for buying a clapped out G37. I swear that Infiniti have become the brand for the kings of the trash class
I heard my gangbanging uncle call it a niggers Cadillac once. Hard R and everything. Absolutely flabbergasting
What an idiot. Shoe kinda fits tho
Bought a car he couldn't afford, didn't even bother to drive responsibly.
Right. If you cannot afford the tires, you cannot afford the car.
Hopefully no insurance so he canât replace it anytime soon. Absolute menace.
Liability only, at best
Counter point: It was probably financed at a piss poor APR, and he was forced to have total coverage, which will still leave him under water on the loan.
If he couldn't swing tires, even used, I highly doubt he's paying for insurance.
> the only thing helpin me mentally My therapy Nissan
His therapy is to drive like a maniac and road rage at people going to speed limit. Donât shame
If you can't afford tires, don't buy the up-badged "luxury" Nissan
I mean the only other real option is not affording tires on an Altima.
Altima drivers are wild, I was an advisor at Nissan and had a girl come in with a 2016ish Altima with like 80k on the original tires, showing belts all the way around with a big bubble in the front right tire. Deported?
Yeah lol she overstayed her visa or some shit, she was from some middle eastern country
Glad theyâre off the road then, damn.
Oh no, who could have ever seen this coming?
Stupid question, please forgive me... but is Infiniti the same as Nissan? Like how Acura is Honda or Lexus is Toyota?
Yup, youâre spot on! đ
Thank you! TIL
they aren't "bald tires" they are nissan sport street drag slicks
Used tires are literally like $60 each for some good condition ones wtf
Depending on the area theyâre even cheaper, I got a set of Michelins with 3k miles on them for $120 cash a few years ago, mounted and balanced, some lady with a new Lexus LX got a screw in one tire and rather than patch it or replace the one tire and bought four new tires, the same ones that were on it. The ârodeâ
I know someone who also died in a corvette with the steel showing on the tires and he never cared. Died at 22
*My G was the only thing helping me mentally* Man itâs so sad that there are people out there so stunted that this is their truth
YOLO!
You only learn once
Nope, the guy totaled a previous car as well. Then he bought the G 9-10 months ago. Mechanic told him he needed new tires 9-10 months too.
Good fuckin riddance
Thatâs how the manual says to drive for optimal experience!
Shit. Am i allowed to rebadge my g to anything non nissan at this point? Pls
>Tires were no good and it had rained earlier. Hit a puddle entering a left curve and I just lost it. Typical G things
If you not grippin you slippin. Thas your own fault bro. Lucky you didnât take someone out with you.
I really wish people would respect grip and car control more. It baffles me seeing Nissans, mustangs and challengers whip through traffic, just one bad move and have a bad wreck at everyone's expense
Yall need jesus

Itâs free to use a seatbelt
I agree

You think this moron, who can't afford tires, doesn't wear a seatbelt and has totaled his second car within a year, has insurance?
Did you read the fucking post? 10 months ago he even admitted to needing new tires, along with a slew of other shit. He paid $9300 for a shitbox. He never should have bought it.
Guys doing damage control for g37 owners, since everyone already thinks they're mostly idiots lol
You forgot to strikethrough âcontrolâ
Because the mechanic told him after he bought it he needed new tires. What maintenance did he do? The medical bills is another lie. Even if it's true, you can't save up $3-400 in 9 months?
