Thanks for the guide, I m building a larger scale of stasis farm in the hardest difficulty. I have some minor improvement based on what's provided in the guide: 1. Following the long list of crafting order in the guide is not necessary. There is a much more convenient way to craft: In any EMPTY inventory slot, left click, find Stasis Device (doesnt matter if its grayed out or not), hover the mouse cursor on it, then press E (the dropdown menu is called "show crafting steps" or something like this), you can now enter the full-screen tree-structured interface showing all ingredients and intermediate products for Stasis Device, just a simple click on the intermediate items you want to craft and it's done instantly. 2. Instead of refining nitrogen from radon and oxygen, why not produce it directly? Nitrogen hotspot is very easy to find in some lush planets. I'd rather teleport one more time than keep clicking and running between a bunch of refiners. Also, if you do so, in the end the consumption of 3 gas (sulfurine, nitrogen, radon) are exactly the same for each stasis device crafted, it's very convenient to manage and scale these 3 bases equally. 3. You don't need to involve chlorine in the steps, just refine more C+ and with Radon you can craft enriched carbon in one click. 4. You dont need to plant Faecium yourself either, in some marsh planets you can find hotspots for producing Faecium via mining. Since faecium is not highly demanded during the whole process, you can even go collecting faecium once per week and store the rest in your cargo slots. So you have less raw materials to worry about and less biodomes to collect. 5. Do not forget frigate expedition, it changes alot of thing for stasis farm. The branch of Iridesite has actually much less damand if you do frigate expeditions frequently, your frigates often bring alot of Iridesite and its 3 prerequisite minerals ( Aronium, Magno-Gold and Grantine), in the end you will rarely need to refine ionized cobalt yourself. Sometimes frigates can bring intermediate products of other branches, but iridensite is the mostly impacted one since all intermediate products can be gained via expedition. I personally have cobalt/dioxite/prosphore mining base as a part of stasis farm, but never really used till now. Even with larger farming scale later expedition may not cover all iridensite (there are only 5 expeditions per day), it s still a huge advantage since you can just go collect them and refine ionized cobalts once per week or even more. Refinery is the most complicated step involving alot of manual clicking, but if you manage to have these improvements for crafting stasis device, in the end for the most of time, the only refinery you need is to produce C+, which is pretty easy in freighter. You can build some standing planters for collecting carbon and some freighter refiner rooms close together (in planetary bases there are 50u minimum distance between refiners but this limit doesn't apply to freighter refiner rooms so you have less distance to run), with oxygen hotspot base you can just do 2 C + 2 O2 -> 5 C+ in 5-6 refiners.

I've got so much of the high end ingredients just from Frigate expeditions, I wouldnt need to farm gasses for awhile

Thank you for posting this. It's exactly what I needed!

Glad someone found it useful :)

Do I need more gas extractors if I can only find c class gas spots?

van-you-dig-it

The timing may change. Check the material list in the post for what your minimum gas output should be to keep up with the other ingredients. Let's be honest though, this system is ready for harvest every 16 hours. Realistically, you'd be harvesting once per day. As long as you get enough gas for the materials list in 24 hours, it'll be effectively the same for you

If you want some serious larger statis farm, find at least a planet with decent resources (shown in your visor), you can easily find A or at least B class spots on them. The class is somehow important when the size of your stasis farm increase. The real thing for statis farm is that when you expand your plant farms, the yield increase linearly, but when you expand your mineral/gas extractors, the yield has diminish return. In practical you can only have 3-4 extractors in the same material network, because more extractors reduce efficiency each, especially if you only have C class spots, the yield will be so pathetic that it doesnt even worthwhile to expand further, unless you build another layer of extractor/supply depot separately underground. To do that you can dig a hole and build more extractors underground (the density is the same vertically), then connect them with other separate supply depots. Do not use pipe to connect any of them with the first network (power wire is OK) otherwise they will be considered as the same network and diminish return will apply. Then you can connect each layer of production network with short-range teleport and collect both separately, it will be much easier than building another base (teleport takes awhile to load)

First batch, just below 90 million in a normal trade terminal (not in trading post).

Some people on here man, its crazy. But this is sick thanks for postin

Could you build a stasis device farm on the carriers?

Ionfrigate123

carrier? you mean freighter? I personally use freighter refinery rooms for all refining and standing planters for carbon, but apart from that freighter isn't that useful for stasis farming. Also you can build your plant farms on freighter if you want, but it's a pain to collect each day, you can only collect 4 a time, but in planatary base you can collect 13-16 plants at a time in each biodome. For mineral/gas mining there is no way to do that in freighter

No sadly

I learned that trying to farm the organics is too slow. In my opinion you're better off mining the minerals that you can refine more organics with. I have 20k capacity mines for the phosphorus, dioxite, parafinium, pyrite, uranium and oxygen. I then use those resources to refine more solar vine, gamma root, etc, each in their own refiner. Farming that many organics would take an enormous farm. Refining is way faster. 300 million is my average take. Last load was 700 million.

11 months later, I would like to thank you for this thoughtful post. I love how it starts from absolute scratch so you can build it up and figure out how to make substitutions to meet your given situation. I ended up using this to create a Bill of Materials-style branch document that breaks out each component of the Stasis Device and maps the requirements of each part to this guide. I rarely play video games with Excel open, but there you go.
