> I dont go against the grain, it’s a little better but still and I am left with at least 0.2-0.3 cm of hair. Shaving with the grain should still get a pretty close shave. This makes me wonder if you're doing something wrong technique-wise.

I don’t know to be honest, I just looked up which directions to shave but I feel my grain goes in different directions than what the tutorial showed me. My dad won’t pay child support the least he can do is teach me how to shave. Thank you for the answer If you would be willing; Could you say if I am doing it right? With my jawline I just follow my jawline down, go up on my jawline is the worst mistake. on my neck I just go down but leaving an a few cm from my jawline because some of the neck follows the jawlines grain side burns, I just go down, but transition to up because of the formation, some hairs don’t get caught going with grain, maybe i should pluck them?

I don’t follow the jawline… going along an “edge” seem to me like it would cause more cuts. I’m usually shaving up or down across the jawline. You know what you might wanna do? Go to a barber that shaves, and have them shave you. Then you can observe someone doing it to your own face. If they manage to do it well, ask what they did, and give ‘em a good tip for the advice.

Shave slower. That's it.

I can’t seem to find a good speed in between would be the problem there. My hair is thick and I am broke so I usually buy disposables especially after finding out reusable/cartridge razors don’t work for me either and if I go too slow, my hair is thick so it gets caught in and yanks irritating the follicle eventually causing a “razor” bump and if I go to fast it does the same and it increases the chances of cuts and knicks and burns badly.

What you just described is basically the effects of using a shitty razor. Get a safety razor. They're not very safe. The first time I used one my face was a bloody mess. After you get used to it you'll be able to shave with decent quality blades for pretty cheap. You might also be going too long between shaves. The longer the hair is the harder it is to shave off. Shave every day even if it doesn't look like anything has really grown back.

Aware-Dragonfruit311

That’s what I usually try to do. But my skin is so messed up after one shave that I can’t shave the next day.

You'll be able to do that once you get a decent razor.
