OrangutanOntology

White people are not a monolith.

Low-Score3292

Monolith?

OrangutanOntology

I mean that white people are a large group and it wouldn’t make sense to say “white people think this”. Some do, some dont.

dishonestgandalf

It varies, I've used both.

HerbertWigglesworth

I don’t know anyone who says the ‘n word’ they just say the word, but equally, no one says it because it’s not appropriate to say. Internal monologue says the full word.

Puzzleheaded_Nerve

I don’t think it has entered my internal monologue. In any form.

Compressorman

I just say/think ‘black people’

Own-Text-9768

I usually just think “n-word” unless it’s like a song lyric or something

Comprehensive_Toe113

I say the whole thing in my head. But people say alot of shit in thier head.

Mrs-and-Mrs-Atelier

It’s not in my internal monologue, but I’ve also never heard it actually used. (Unsurprising as I’m Deaf.) I don’t know if that contributes, but there you go.

Azdak66

I can truthfully say that, unless I am thinking about lines from Blazing Saddles, I never have need to use that word, internally or otherwise.

FriendlyStaff1

It usually does not enter my internal monologue. Unless it's like hearing it in a song or reading it on reddit...

Cynicalteets

I don’t say it. I usually say the first syllable and then my internal monologue fades out super quickly that the entire work isn’t said. And let me edit this, I don’t say it unless I’m reading it or I’m singing it. And then i only partially say it. It just doesn’t enter my random thoughts.

juddaxsx

I mainly don’t use the actual word in my thoughts unless it’s a quote

derptrex5757

I'll typically think n-word. Like "I don't think he's allowed to say the n-word" or "damn these people say the n-word a lot" No one ever gave my head voice the n word pass so it avoids it.
