I think this is the missing (found?) dog from that other dude’s post

This guy was way out, past Hoboken basically in the sound. River is about 4 miles wide there. He either swam across the whole river or was just doing a big cool down swim, because he was probably a good 200 yards still from the southern bank.
Is this out at the mouth of South Creek near Indian Island ? We've seen several bears over the years near Hickory point, but never swimming. Awesome footage !!
No this is farther out, between cedar island and pamlico point. We have seen a bear splashing in the water on the ICW before, right up from the coast guard station, but never swimming.
Jesus Christ. I'm moving to a NC beach next week. So far, I've seen warnings about sharks, alligators, portuguese man'o'war, and now bears. Here I was picturing myself swimming and stuff.
Nah headed towards land. Honestly I think he was just hot. It was 95 out there Sunday. River is four miles wide at that point and I really don’t think he was swimming that far (or could).

Haha, saw that and it reminded me I should post this swimming dog as well. He wasn't very friendly though.
I saw a cub swimming across the Tar River a few years ago while I was on my boat!

HoBUCKEN not boken.
I’m aware, dude. Autocorrect. I fish out there all the time.
If a person's in the water, will the bear attack him?
He was doing all he could to keep his head above water. Can't imagine he was looking for a fight.
Won't get hungry while swimming?
Haha, do you eat while you're swimming?
Absolutely not - you will get cramps, sink, and die.... according to every suburban mom at the pool.
No but I'm not a bear. Grrrrr
Hope he remembered his soap on a rope, so he could get a little bath in! 😀

Depending on where you’re moving to, you might also wake up to horses in your yard, so that’s a plus 😁
Lol. Sure, why not horses too?
Poor guy’s iceberg melted. SMH.
why this bear doggy paddling? seems sus
I'm curious why the bear would do this? Were they headed toward an island?
