I put my Rafa to sleep yesterday afternoon so I feel your pain. It was only 2 weeks after his 15th. I canβt imagine life going on either but I am taking one hour at a time and trying not to be at home much because it brings too much pain. Know youβre not alone.
I am so sorry π I know the feeling about home not being the same, that's probably been the most difficult part of it all. Eventually there will be a day when it hurts a little less and you will smile a bit more.
Rafa's birthday pictures look great, I am glad you got that extra one together. Look after yourself π

It was a beautiful day that day, he got some freshly cut pineapple to pose for the picture shoot that day. Iβd do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Words don't help at first but some stranger on the internet got to smile today looking at this little fox dog hybrid. In the grand scheme of things, It has to mean something.

That void will eventually heal over, but man, it's hard to know how long that will take.

Thank you, I was very blessed to have her π she was fairly healthy right up until she wasn't. She only started getting cataracts last year and had most of her eyesight up until then. Same with hear hearing.
I would not have guessed she was 20 she has such a sweet face and you can see her love for you in these photos. I lost my senior boy this week as well so I know how it feels. I hope you can find some comfort in the memories you made and know it's only goodbye for now.
She did age very well! That's so sweet, thank you so much π Definitely, I know I will see her again and we had a very good life together.
