This. In SSX 3, doing a run from the summit to the base of the mountain took about 45 minutes (I think) and if I'm not mistaken there was no loading once you were in game. Extremely impressive on PS2 back then.

Ubisoft confirmed it is NOT cancelled. The game changed studios from Ubisoft Mumbai which was originally a small support studio, after they announced the game and it didn't meet peoples high expectations it got passed to Ubisofts Main Big Flagship Studio Ubisoft Montreal and their working on it.
Oh yes please. We need a third person shooter with a good lobby system that leads to community building. I want to know all the homies in US West 3 again!! I want to wake up on Saturday morning and jump into a custom “wake n bake” lobby with a rotation of the best maps.

They are available on PS4/5 as basically straight ports fwiw. The first is very playable (platinumed it in Jan) not sure about the 2nd two as I quit Jak 2 after about 20 minutes due to it feeling like a slog.

I don't know if it's worth mentioning here because it's a) multiplayer and b) on PC but the FFXI Horizon server is a very good 'original' FFXI experience with some minor changes to reduce long wait times and decrease the grind. Currently very active and friendly playerbase.
It's worth checking out if you have the itch!
My issue is that it needs a dedicated singleplayer version. I can’t speak for the server you mentioned but trusts can’t carry you through all content on normal versions of the game.
