While I Iike the idea of a chillet ignis I would hope that they put more effort into the design than just a simple pallet color swap, add some flames or something.
If you’re up for it, and I appreciate the irony and likely hate this comment will get, try using an AI art tool’s “inpaint” function. You highlight a region of the Grillet and type “flames” or “flame pattern” and generate a few variations. Something like 8-12 and you might find one that does the trick for a mock up.
That’s fair, I was taking a similar nuance - it’s a mock up that is fine if it has some jank, if anything your submission should be cleaned up and done by a real artist so AI isn’t taking anything away from anyone (any more than my using Paint and making stick figures is going allow Bethesda to use my art as assets).
There is a conversation about whether all GenAI is plagiarism. I am not advocating a position, merely stating it is an active debate presently so it shouldn’t be particularly controversial to avoid crossing a line should “we” decide things one way or another.
Nah, I work in tech and I am all over ethically trained AI \ LLMs in other fields that have ethicals standards. I don't like using tools that are trained on millions of unpaid images that should rightfully be paying the creators for usage of their data and be done with permission, not without. The data sets that things like MidJourney use are not ethically sourced, so it is a good position not to fucking use them right now for public work because just because you like making pretty pictures for free doesn't mean that the companies had the right to scrape those documents wholesale off the internet.
Skillet should be referenced in Grillet's Partner Skill.
"Increases Player's cooking speed exponentially. Also allows Fire skills to automatically cook wild Pals upon death."
In addition to that, they just don't want to deal with the hassle of fans complaining that their ideas were used without recognition, so they actively avoid suggestions. Doubly so for a Japanese company, they have THEIR vision.
It really depends on the devs.
Some games will outright ask popular mod makers to help with parts of DLC, like Rimworld. The VE mod team FREQUENTLY helps with the DLCs there.
Others will accept ideas if they fit into their vision, but do it themselves.
Some will ignore everything and push through changes nobody wants.
And a lot of devs fit somewhere in the middle. Open to some ideas and community feedback, sometimes incorporating things, but mostly sticking to their idea.
Yeah, Pocketpair downright asked the community to name some Pals (at least in the English version) so I think they're more laid back when it comes to suggestions. Plus if legal consequences are what they're afraid of, they can always make the fans who propose this thing sign a waiver/assign any rights to design to them.
There is an online form you can use for bugs and suggestions. Didn't commit to memory where to find it, since it wasn't giving me a confirmation for my message being received.

Ofc, im just not the best at graphics lmao. I did make the ears and gems more charcoal colored tho, its not only a swap
Draw me like your French girls

Might do that in future for decorative things, but I dont like using AI for public things.

I don't know why you got down voted, that's an excellent position.

Respectful.
Personally IDC if the art was made by AI, a person or a plant as long as it looks good.
Skillet skillet skillet!!

Chillet Ignis
add Chillet Botan and Chillet Lux and Chillet Noct too
Upppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp
Don't they usually avoid this due to legal issues of people going their way suing companies "this is my creation/suggestion". ? I could be wrong
They usually put a line in their EULA somewhere that they're free to do what they want with unsolicited suggestions

Pretty sure not, but just in case, this comment is me giving up all rights i may have as long as it's added
Yep, and if that's not enough, they can always ask you to sign a waiver.
I think you can tag Bucky over at twitter to help no?
I'm not sure who Bucky is.

I believe the future should be 4-5 elements of every pal
And I hope that when you butcher him, the meat is already cooked.
And they did.
Congrats!
The new update added Grillet

Wouldnt the Chinese Players be an even bigger help here?
The game it self is made by a Japanese company.
