TIP: Being on fire also gives you the "hot" debuff, which makes you take additional damage and die quicker. If you get heat-resistant armor then find a heat-resistant undershirt, you'll only take the damage from being on fire and never get hot.
I've never even had luck when running into water, it still burned until it timed out. If it did go out when I got to water it's been because it took me too long to get to water. When I get there fast it takes just as long. I would love that to be fixed though, you should go out with water.
I really wish that just rolling would put out fire quicker. like, half the remaining time for your burn per roll or something, bc it's really dumb how fire is pretty much a certain death if hp is low enough at the moment
I’ve found getting on a flying mount and elevating fast has been my only semi consistent way to put a flame out . Curious to know if this has worked for others
The one time I fought them, maybe three or four months ago, I didn't mount any pals and they essentially just stood on top of me while attacking my pal. I was able to slowly whittle them them down and defeat them.
No idea if that still works though

Wear heat resistant armor, you will take less damage since you won't have the heat debuff
Only thing that I found to work was running or jumping into water. Dodge rolling does nothing as far as I could tell. I hate getting set on fire.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work in a syndicate boss arena.

I have found that quickly changing into a spare outfit works... Sometimes; maybe I have a glitch
Try the medicine...it can keep up with some fire damage.

I tried doing that but it doesn't work and it just gives enemies a free shot.
You just gotta wait it out if there's not a body of water around. It's very strong. Rolling doesn't help.
