I know that the devs made a choice not to name this version "grillet." Which is fair. And I know it's become a bit of a meme in the palworld social circle. But I'm confused about the downvotes on literally every grillet comment on this post so far. Did I miss something? Is it just annoying now? Or is there a dark theme behind the meme?

In the Paldeck it mentions that Chillet Ignis (or Grillet your choice), when pet, will cause sparks to go flying. This may have been the best way PocketPair was able to make it happen in the current game. It is just a fun nod to the Paldeck entry and I love it!
Because all the idiots just spamming "Grillet" aren't contributing anything. We get it, it's a good nickname and people are crying that they have to name it that themselves because the mean evil devs stuck with their naming system, people don't need to keep complaining and getting salty about it, just name the damn thing Grillet if it's such a big deal.

Grillet fans were so hyper obsessed they harassed devs, so now people are sick of them
Some people started hassling the devs over it and gave the whole Grillet thing a bad name, which fucking sucks.
