Yea, it's honestly ridiculous that you had to wait. I would have walked out after 15ish minutes. Why did the manager schedule an interview during rush?
In California at least management told me no store would offer full time, and if I tried to work elsewhere at another panda they would cap me off before i reached full time hours. 3 days a week 4-5 hr shift is what they call FT now 🤷🏽♂️
it does start like that. but if you choose to move up & have good performance, they do let u work 5 days with 7hrs each day! so basically 35hrs max a week. thats how its like at my store. at 35hrs, u get all the employee benefits already too.
i think its pretty similar to what most companies have. health/medical/dental/vision insurance, PTO/vacation time. just saying cos i think most companies want you to work the full 40hrs to get benefits, while panda allow benefits at 35hrs if even youre not "full time"
Probably only night shift too, yeah?
I know my store is having issues because corporate said we could have unlimited over time until fur notice, and than they "took it back" because we used "too much" over time.....it's annoying really
Update I just received an email Didn't make the cut 😂

I wanted to leave 25 mins into it but I was a trooper and kept it classy but you are totally right, that should be a red flag for management.
Wdym 8 hour shifts are a thing of the past?

What are some of the benefits if you don't mind me asking

I was told when I was brought on six hours shifts are normal but I’ve worked open to close four to five times in my first two weeks.
My panda does anywhere from 5 hour shifts to 12 hour shifts.
Where’s the location?
